Perhaps, but I just don't see this being as easy to smack down as North Korea's attitude was. I can agree to this. How much caution is gonna need to be advised, exactly?

The UN is a peacekeeping task force and useless in this situation.
I can't answer as I might, as I'm out and can only answer in brief.

I didn't say it was a useful military, but they have uniforms, guns, some training at least, but yeah not the most useful people the more I think about it.
Course France apparently wants to step up and be the big man on campus now, maybe we should let them do what they want.

@cross the UN only has a military of sorts no covert ops divisions, only individual nations have those, America has multiple branches of covert black ops groups, Israel has them, I'm fairly certain most European Nations have them. Russia I know has them. I still remember the Spetznaz. Sometimes I wonder how come the UN doesn't have Covert Ops divisions of their own, though. Wouldn't a lot of trouble have been saved if they already had one.

The UN like the league of nations before it has no real power.
Like I said it can levy sanctions and thats about it.

Cross, you've clearly played far too many COD or BF games. Black Ops teams are not unbeatable assassination squads. They cannot be used solely to solve problems. Hell taking out a leader like that would not always end a conflict like that in Syria.

The only reason I could recall why the League didn't get all of Woody's Points across would have had to do with Woody's policies with the Latin American Colonies before the U.S got into WW 1, in fact.

Cross the League of nations was set up after WW1.

Cross the League of nations was set up after WW1. I know, I was meant to be pointing out how the LoN didn't listen to Wilson's points and how it led to WW 2 happening.

Who tbh never factored in to it. Sorry. Not majorly speaking. It dates back larger than you might imagine, but I'd rather not risk going against the thread's intended purpose as we're addressing Syria as of today.
