It's not Cannon at all.
So no Enterprise? Not that... you know, that level of tech would be worth anything xD but it does have some feats for 29th century time travel tech, Trek gets that ofc. If it's composite then it should, though it lacks many feats.

if it's canon Enterprise should be counted. No killing people before their born type strategies though (need to put together debating rules when I get the chance)

I have a feeling though, that even with advanced Trek time-fuckery that comes with 29th century Tech, I think the sheer numbers that Wars has, even without things like the Star Forge just push this over for them.
I think Trek only won on FP because it wasn't composite, and Aeflinns calcs ;P

That and lack of knowledge on Legacy era Wars. Though I have more info on their ships and forces now.

I heard some ridiculous things about Aelfinns calcs... To be fair his calculations are sound, the maths is there. It's whether or not you want to believe the dialogue in the show and what's seen in the special effects during the series'. I did some calcs to put Trek at high Megaton range per torpedo, but that's also going off of dialogue. And we all now how people love to ignore dialogue.

Well, dialogue can be laced with expressive details that may or may not be exaggerating the object. For example...
"That car got totally obliterated in that crash"
Now, the car didn't truely get obliterated. Its not suddenly gone, disintegrated or atomized.
But if it was a AI character, or a 'matter of fact' like character it's likely true. Legion from mass effect stated that Geth could think at the speed of light. He is stating a fact, nothing less.
That's why people don't trust it much really...

Nothing was said in such a way, that would lead anyone to think it was out of the ordinary for this power to be used, or that they were lying/exaggerating. Indeed, the dialogue said for my calcs comes from a Vulcan and a Borg, neither race are known for lying or hyperbole.

What character did aelfinn,s calc come from... race and type of person? I understand the vulcuns and borg bit, both don't usually exaggerate or put things out of proportion.

Romulans and Cardassians. Now, I know what you're thinking, both are devious races. But really, from the scene, they're calm, concentrated, everything is going exactly as it should be going, nothing seems anomalous.
Ofc I can't seem to find the vid Aelfinn used >.> I'm sure it was posted on the actual thread, but ugh, looking through all those pages?

Of course, sifting through so many pages is just agonizing... ugh...
I do have doubts on those races, even if they are calm it doesn't excatly mean they can't exaggerate. I can't count how many times I've heard, "like, literally, a million times."

Well it's a moot point anyway, no one really accepts those calcs. I even hear tell that using them can get you banned on Spacebattles xD Though what can't?

I've heard that disagreeing with a mod, or purposely ignoring evidence gets you banned on that site.
But tbf, I've never really been on it, so I don't now for certain.

Hm, seems all the debate sites trash each other though... lol. I bet there's some nasty things circulating about factpile in OBD or spacebattles, specially after kicking some spacebattles guys back to their site through pure hate..
