Are Techmarines part of the Ultramarines? Just curious. I really don't know.

I mean smart as in rapid problem solving and the like, like that exemple I gave of Stitch
They tell him the cannons are locked-on to his DNA, he flips his ears a few times, it makes the cannons move, he lets drool ooze down, the cannons follow it, he sucks it up, the cannons go back to him, he spits on the guard.

Are Techmarines part of the Ultramarines? Just curious. I really don't know. Yes, every Space Marine chapter has a thousand or so marines, and they all have Techmarines to repair weapons/vehicles/etc when the Imperium's Tech Priests aren't available, or they're in the battle field and they need someone to jury rig something. The Techmarine could rig a trap with some melta bombs (melta bombs are similar to Star War's thermal detonators), though I don't know how much heat Stitch can survive, so whats the hottest thing he's been exposed to?

Not sure how hot this is, but he wasn't even singed when he drove a Full Gas tanker into a molten pit of a volcano. He also caught a plasma round fired by jumba and tossed it back at at him. I would post the scene..but all I can find on youtube is the "Alternate" deleted scene that was replaced by the catching the plasma scene.

I'd say several hundred to a couple thousand degrees, and I'd also say this is nowhere near his max resistance to heat since he exposed himself to it on purpose, meaning he was sure he wouldn't be hurt

that and he wasn't injured by the lava and heat at all so it's well below what would even be required to damage him.

While it's impressive that he wasn't harmed by the lava, keep in mind lava only reaches temperatures of about 2000 degrees. An Imperium plasma weapon's bolt is as hot as a solar flare (millions of degrees).

An Imperium plasma weapon's bolt is as hot as a solar flare (millions of degrees). The thing is is that we cant really quantify HOW heat resistant he is. He is said to be invulnerable to heat/fire, form the movies/ show, the hottest things he has come into contact with has been Lava, explosions of various size, maybe a plasma round or two(though it is never explained how dangerous their universes plasma tech is), and ...well... fire in general. He has never come into contact with the sun so there is no way of knowing if it would hurt him or not, all we have to go on is the evidence already presented and the word that heat/fire will never harm him.

Unfortunately, there's no indication of how hot the plasma guns used actually are.

Well they leave holes and burn marks in the metal walls of the ship

Well isn't the reason he catches the plasma blasts because he doesn't break the magnetic field thus unleashing the heat/actual attack. In theory couldn't he do the same here, sort of like was argued with Luke vs Kharn that the same mechanics would mean he could pull the same stunt?

If that is the case some Space Marines would be in for a surprise..

Would that allow him to catch power weapons ?

No, those work on a totally different principle.
