Okay here we may talk without spoiler tags since it's a spoilers thread.

The Kursed was a very interesting concept. Like, Thor had an easier time killing the DESTROYER than fighting that Kursed. And even then it basically took a wormhole BFR to get rid of him.
And then you look that to the opening cutscene and see several Asgardians dispatch a number of Kursed without enormous issue.

Yeah, that was strange but I think with Kurse (the one with the mask) the way Malekith created him somehow made him stronger and more powerful. Something with the mask maybe?

The bezerker was a beast. He DDT'd one of the kursed. The ancient asgardians make thor look like a random soldier.

It could simply be that he was an especially powerful Dark elf (being Malekeith's lieutenant guy) and thus became an especially powerful example after transformation.

It stands to reason that the Kursed in that time were fighting vastly superior Asgardians, so a modern high tier like Thor going against a relatively normal Kursed would be far less effective, making the Kursed look abnormally strong since he's being attacked by a weaker opponent.

Maybe because he was twice as dark

Well Algrim was the strongest Dark Elf of physically in 616. He was bigger than Malekith to begin with so the same is likely true. It might be that it requires damage to certain areas to kill them, a weakpoint somewhere, one that Modern Asgardians had forgotten about.

It's possible. The ancients were constantly fighting then.

Selvig was funny too.
"Is Loki with you." *After we're made to like Loki for his wit and being on the good side, and then saddened by his demise* "Loki is dead." "Oh thank God." *Awkwardness abounds*

Knukailsand Bor apparently lied about any surviving. not the smartest thing to do honestly. - @cosmic that was hilarious It's possible he didn't know. Malaketh did force his fleet to destroy itself, whilst quickly escaping in the last ship, which cloaked quickly too. Though what gets me is Hiemdall could see the cloaked fighter, but then it's said that he can't see any of them. Also looks like Thanos is being set up to enter with the Infinty Gauntlet. Which will be freaking fantastic!

True
I thought Heimdall heard the fighter? There was a hum from it's engine.
Definitely. Asgard gave the Collector the Power Gem, they've got the mind gem from Loki's staff, and the gauntlet in Asgard. Adam Warlock has the soul gem...the Collector getting the Power Gem makes me wonder how Drax will get it, maybe trading his sanity or something? Although according to the Marvel wiki the Tesseract and the Aether were the gems but...that doesn't make sense honestly even as different as MCU is
