From Moria (or Khazad-dûm) ,The Dwarven underground city beneath the Misty Mountains, the Darkspawn emerge. The horde has massed in force and an Arch-Demon is in control. Will Middle-Earth come together to defeat the blight? Will they figure out how to slay the Arch-Demon in time? Or will Middle-Earth be swallowed up by the blight?

Middle-Earth doesn't have Grey Wardens so they're fucked imo True; however, Dragon Age didn't have Grey Wardens until someone got the bright idea to drink Darkspawn blood. That's why I put in the question of " Will they figure out how to slay the Arch-Demon in time? " Meaning, will they figure out that they need to drink Darkspawn blood in order to make Gray Wardens (a Warden by any other name just as badass)

Ya but without GWs they'll have to kill the Archdemon thousands of times

Not necessarily, there might be something in LotR's that's compatible. Like I said, there are wizards and Sauron and big badass monsters. I mean, the Archdemon didn't seem like an impressive fight at the end of DA.

Because I generally play on hard....and the Arch-demon was no fun to fight...not at all

Probably Normal. That's my standard difficulty setting, and it wasn't hard at all. Maybe coz I was max level with badass weapons and armour and a kick ass team, I dunno.

You command armies to wail on it and either wail on it yourself (which about equates an army's worth of damage really) or pelt it with ballista shots. and it takes quite a while to weaken it enough. That thing is hard to kill.
And if you don't have a GW around it resurrects itself into a darkspawn and you have to do it again until there's no more darkspawns, which is 100s of 1000s of them

Which are easy enough to kill. You're forgetting maybe, the hundreds of thousands of Orcs, and the armies of Men, and Elf, and Dwarf, all with people like the Witch King and Aaragorn and Gandalf leading the charge. He did say the entirety of Middle Earth right?

That doesn't seem like it's a problem, at all. They have big power houses that can take down the Archdemon by sheer power alone, and enough manpower to kill the 'vast hordes' of Darkspawn, and if it leaps, just kill it too.
Also, it's very very simple to make a Grey Warden. You drink darkspawn blood. That's it. The Archdemon then jumps into the Warden, coz it's the closest thing with Darkspawn blood, and you kill the warden before it can... take hold or whatever, I forget exactly what it is. It's not like it's some ancient and complex ritual that would take ME ages to complete.

It's not like it's some ancient and complex ritual that would take ME ages to complete. Its funny, yea, the Darkspawn are not problem at all....for the player character and his/her team of Expendables; however, from what I recall, Darkspawn are more than a match for normal soldiers. Hell, even at the end of the game, if you listen to some of the dialogue you find that the huge ass army you gathered is still outnumbered 3 to 1 and are starting to get overwhelmed by the end. only reason they don't is due to you slaying the Arch-Demon and the Darkspawn retreating.
The reason the Grey Warden is needed is because GW's have a soul. Darkspawn are soulless, so the A-D can slip in no problem; however, when it tires to enter a warden the vessel is already full and that basically causes it to spirit implode, perma killing both it and the Warden.
But the question still remains, will Middle Earth be able to figure out that Drinking the blood is needed. I mean, when you see a big ass demon dragon, I doubt your first thought is "Oh, let me drink the blood of its minions." And while I'm thinking of it. The Arch-Demon suffers from Alduin syndrome(even though Skyrim came out several years after DA:O) Lore wise, its virtually unstoppable by anyone other than Grey Wardens. If your person wasn't a Warden then they wouldn't be able to touch it.
