Tokyo February 22 2014, as Typhoon Asura rages across the island nation Godzilla rises from the depths to again devastate the city. As the King of the Kaiju rampages he destroys all that stands in his way. The government of Japan in a last ditch move to save what remains of their ravaged city initiate plan Evangelion. Shinji Ikari is placed in Eva Unit 01, the super massive monster slaying Mecha of death. The Mecha is deployed into the city directly across from the rampaging nuclear dinosaur. Godzilla and the Eva lock eyes, and Godzilla unleashes an island rattling roar of defiance at this would be challenger. The sound of the King of the Monsters causes a shift in the Eva elliciting a similar roar from the mecha meant to defend Japan. The generals in charge of the project watch in horror as the Eva enters it's Berserk State and begins marching towards Godzilla. The only thing any of them knows now is, no matter which being wins this battle, Japan will not survive.

Well, not knowing the challenger, I will ask this.....does it have the power of a black hole? Because Big G. has physically clawed his way out of a black hole before.

Without it's AT field (a special life force produced forcefield) the Eva is capable of taking a Nuke to the face, with the AT field it's durability is incredibly high to all kinds of damage short of extremely powerful and focused types of energy fired from giant mecha sized sniper rifles. In it's berserk state it's capable of regen that would make Godzilla impressed and it's AT field provides immense strength (easily multi thousand ton range since it caught an Angel whose collision with Earth would have wiped out a large portion of Japan.). In it's berserk state it's more than happy to rip out the heart of it's opponent for a snack and it has incredible speed (at one point causing a sonic boom by running) I'm going to try and find actual feats now.

So.....what your saying is that Both have crazy regen, both can tank shit ton's of damage, Big G's main weapon won't hurt Eva 01 in the slightest....so its only a matter of time before EVA wins due to Godzilla getting board and wondering off.

Now watch as in what has to be the most fucked up example of soundtrack dissonance in history Eva 01 fights another Eva that went full Angel....and while berserk rips it's fellow cyborg angel apart and...starts..eating it....

@shadow I don't know how much firepower Final War Godzilla's attacks have, but the Eva did sustain a mountain buster for an extended period (said attack vaporized a mountain instantly) Godzilla's stronger rays and physical attacks might be able to cause damage though but it's debatable. And there's a reason I didn't do composite for both because then both become literal gods and this never ends because they'll both never stop...in these forms, both are capable of dying...eventually.

Well, Final Wars version is the closest to composite you will see put to film and is (for the moment) the strongest iteration of himself to date.

@shadow Well the version that solo'd the Avengers is pretty powerful...and well the strongest version of Eva...is either God, and second is just shy of it. In theory strongest version of unit 1 could reduce Godzilla to component materials...as in primordial goo but then again possibly not hard to say.

@knuks Evangelion I've watched two of the Rebuild movies...which in some ways are lighter and softer....and then there's that video I posted which makes the original version of that scene look..only semi psychotic.

Thats what I am saying, Godzilla is fighting a loosing match. Hell, anyone fighting an anime character is generally fighting a loosing match.

@shadow well that's strongest incarnations normal version just punches really hard I figured Godzilla's regen would keep it in the match to give it a chance to use it's attacks and have a chance to break through the AT field.

@shadow I think it used eyebeams at one point but berserker generally prefers mutilating it's opponents so Godzilla will have to physically brawl with it but damn will it be an epic fight of titanic regenarators in a Hurricane. Godzilla's regen should keep it in the fight as it brawls with the Eva and it may be able to eventually pierce the AT field.
