as I said it should be a good fight, both are massively strong and have regen and durability for decades. So long as Godzilla avoids pissing off Rebuild Shinji he's fine...but if Godzilla triggers Shinji's berserk button....he's suddenly going to be faced with...a guy who forced his mecha through sheer force of will to break the universe.

Here's the last angel in Rebuild 2. Those M2 weapons it mentions are Nuclear weapons and the missile shoved into it's chest is one as well, the thing was tanking everything Japan could muster and then some. Rei in unit 00 shoves a nuke in it's face and gets eaten for her trouble causing the Angel to mutate into a giant naked teenage girl of death. Shinji proceeds to use Unit 01 non berserk state to beat the shit out of it when the other Eva's were unable to do the same, unfortunately at that moment he ran out of juice (not an issue for the purposes of this match as it got an upgrade later from what I've read)
In the second part Shinji reactivates and forces the Eva into berserk mode through sheer force of will. And begins using the AT field in stead for the missing arm. Including for eyebeams to hit the angel and damage it when multiple nukes couldn't.....and then the halo turns red and....reality breaks...so...just..everything before the halo turns red is usable..I don't think it's too much since Godzilla has taken similar levels of damage..but yeah..if you want to know what happens if I had said full power Eva 01..

Unit 01 moving supersonic near the early part to reach the Angel, then managing to use it's body and AT field to support the Colony Drop Angel

Eva 01 in its normal state doesn't really have regeneration of any kind. And the 'berzerk' state just makes it hungry for blood and run without a powersource and far stronger. Unit 01's unleashed state was due to severe emotional trauma and the S2 engine (the same thing that powers the angel's) which likely could not be replicated...
Unit 1 was able to tank a mountain slicing beam from Ramiel... for a couple seconds, then had to be saved an repaired in less than 24 hours (kudos to the repair team XD)
If this is unit 1 god mode he wins by ending the world... otherwise he's not going to come out well if godzilla can deal more damage than slicing through a mountain like nothing.

No... but it has a knife that can pierce through AT fields and acts like a vibroblde IIRC
