I mention Phazon corruption because the stuff is really strange. Chozo seers who had visions of the Tallon IV leviathan impact were driven insane by Phazon that hadn't even appeared yet, and when it hit, the Chozo that died had their souls corrupted and torn back into the real world, creating the Chozo Ghosts. When another Leviathan hit Aether, it caused the planet to split into separate dimensions, and created the Ing. It seems feasible to me that Phazon corruption is a genuine danger to the Ultras. Wasn't Dark Samus grown from Phazon, or something like that?

The Omega Cannon too, since it hit and damaged a questionably corporeal Gorea.
With Metroid DNA, it's possible that she has their energy draining abilities, which means she can replenish by feeding on the Na'vi and other wildlife, as she did on the X Parasites in Metroid Fusion.

Dark Samus was created when the dying Metroid Prime (which was a metroid corrupted to an incredible degree by phazon) stripped away Samus' Phazon Suit. Like the SA-X being born when X stole Samus' DNA when she was infected by them on SR-388, it modelled itself after her.

KnukailsAlright. I'll go ahead and list some of the abilities of a Chief Librarian that I think would be useful in this match. Telepathy Divination Offensive Powers Varro was also the only one who could connect his mind with the 'Nid Hivemind and not get destroyed, that's pretty damn impressive resistance.

Could resistance to Phazon corruption be used against psyker powers ? The thing drove other hunters insane but Samus was ignoring it even when over 80+ % Phazon levels.
Also ya Hypermode renders her impervious to damage.

Even when she was on Phaaze, and was in permanent Hypermode.

Also ya Hypermode renders her impervious to damage. I guess that takes care of mind-control. But what is hypermode specifically and how long does it last? I've only played the beginning of Metroid Prime 1 & 2, and if it was in fusion or any of the older ones I forgot.

It's from 3. When Samus, Ghor, Rundas, and Gandrayda are corrupted by Dark Samus, the Federation gives them Phazone Enhancement Devices that let's them weaponize the Phazon in their bodies. By sacrificing some of her energy reserves, he cannon is powered up with Phazon, and she becomes more or less invincible to damage. It lasts only a short while, until the Phazon supply is exhausted.
Later on, as Samus' corruption worsens, she occasionally goes into a more dangerous form of Hypermode in which her body unstably generates Phazon for a certain period of time, which she has to expel by firing her weapons.
Then when she lands on Phaaze, the source of Phazon, she goes into a permanent Hypermode.
A less powerful version of the PED used for regular Federation Humans was strong enough to vaporize Space Pirates with a shot or two.

As opposed to being more or less stomped by SPs iirc.

Would Phazon make her immune even being sucked into another dimension?

Hmmm, with a composite of all the Energy Samus gathers throughout the games, she has around eleven thousand units of energy.

All energy tanks you mean ? She had more than that in Prime 1 alone.
