(suggested by shadowknight ) While Scouting an uncharted system, Samus Aran spotted a cargo transport get shot down by Batarian Space Pirates; however, before she could intercept the Pirates a large war fleet drops out of warp. The Pirates are caught by surprise in between Samus's ship and the War fleet. Aran decides to use the momentary distraction the Pirates provide to fallow the crashing ship to the moon of Pandora. After a brief slaughter, the Fleet spots Samus's ship, believing it to be a fleeing pirate, they open fire. The blast cripples the Aran's ship, forcing her to to make a rough landing on pandora. She hides her damaged ship under deep cover, as the sky fills with landing craft. The landing craft deploy the entirety of the Ultramarine chapter at the ruins of an ancient looking military complex, roughly 80 miles from Samus. Samus makes her way to the cargo ship, finding tall blue humanoid cat-folk picking over the wreck. These humanoids attack her on sight, forcing her to kill them; searching the wreck she find hundreds containers full of usable fuel cells. Quickly she grabs as many as she can keep on her and brings the rest to her ship. Her new mission, fallow the sounds of distant battle and take the fight to those who shot her down. Match guide lines: Samus Aran is composite, possessing all her skills/ abilities/ and weapons. Ultramarines are at full strength (minus their Primarch) All natives of Pandora are active and hostile. First contact between the two sides will be at the Na'vi home tree.

Ok, since I'm not an expert on either side, I'll wait for the others.

So ignoring all the cannon fodder marines here, what can Samus do to defend herself against the mind-raping powers of this majestic stallion Varro Tigurius, also known as Chief Librarian of the Ultramarines and from what I've heard, the most powerful psyker in the Imperium, next to the GEOM.

I would think so, they aren't actually as tough as often hyped up, tougher than MC, yes, but next to Samus that's like saying a UFC fighter vs a high school bully then putting said UFC fighter against a Marine with an AR-15 and grenades because the fighter won.

With Phazon, she godstomps any single marine. A squad goes out the window all of the same. As long as she can stay in Hypermode, she's virtually invincible. Along with it, there's the chance of the Phazon corrupting them, especially Tigurius, since Psykers are more susceptible to that kind of thing.

I meant according to official standards like from the wiki. I've read dozens of 40k novels, they're honestly not as tough as most people wank them to be, much like MC or any other popular character. Samus should have no problem getting past their armor with even her regular weapons, which is why I said ignoring the cannon fodder marines, what can she do against a Psyker with mind-raping abilities?

Oh, i guess its a good thing their Primarch isn't in this. I don't think he could have helped much. Loyalist Primarchs didn't have offensive psykic powers, Guilliman would have probably tried charging at Samus with power fists only to get vaporized.

I mention Phazon corruption because the stuff is really strange. Chozo seers who had visions of the Tallon IV leviathan impact were driven insane by Phazon that hadn't even appeared yet, and when it hit, the Chozo that died had their souls corrupted and torn back into the real world, creating the Chozo Ghosts. When another Leviathan hit Aether, it caused the planet to split into separate dimensions, and created the Ing.
It seems feasible to me that Phazon corruption is a genuine danger to the Ultras.

Would Samus's Omega Cannon be of use against Varro Tigurius?

Cause if we start debating Guilliman we'll never get anywhere.
