Battle takes place on Courascant specifically the district containing the Jedi Temple and Senate buildings, the area is evacuated for the purposes of this battle. One on One warrior to warrior. Assume fully leveled up Wrex with the best possible weapons and armor. Arbiter Thel 'Vadam gets his armor shield energy sword Covenant Carbine and Plasma Rifle.

What's the max range on Wrex's bionics? In the games I remember the max range was like 40 meters or so, but I don't know the canonical range. Arbiter needs to keep his distance against Wrex or he's f'd

I haven't gotten very far in ME yet so I can't say with certainty I'm sure there are others on here more familiar with the maximum of his capabilities though. Still that's part of why I picked where I did, sniper spots, ambush areas, lots of streets and buildings etc. It's urban warfare lots of variables for them to take advantage of.

Arbiter can go invisible, Does Wrex have any defense against that?

I believe Mass Effect Radar systems are able to detect cloaked enemies. - Also Wrex does have an experience edge, being a bit over 300 years old.

Doesn't the Arbiter have typical Halo shielding? Isn't Halo tech better?
Can Wrex break through the shields?

I have no clue what the range for controlling stuff in a more traditional tk style is. EDIT: Manage to find a spot where the distance was 146 meters and it both hit and went a bit past it when I fired off in the distance. So +100 meters for max range for the offensive stuff like lift, warp, reave, etc.

Wrex is way past 300, that's just the time since he left Tuchanka for merc work. It's implied he was born roughly near the end or just after the Krogan Rebellions, which was in ~800BCE.

Doesn't the Arbiter have typical Halo shielding? Isn't Halo tech better? Can Wrex break through the shields? In some ways. Depends on what your talking about. ME handheld weapons tend to be a bit better unless we're talking the foreunner stuff. Shield wise, Halo's isn't limited to kinetic attacks like ME's shields. EDIT: Though ME does have shield the defend against a large variety like Halo's they don't seem to come in 360 coverage.

Wrex uses a Claymore shotgun and a heavy pistol like the Carnifex. We don't have many feats for the Arbiters shields aside from being taken down in Halo 2 by battle rifle + dual SMG fire (kinetic energy in the single, maybe double digit kilo-joules), which correlates with other Sangheili's shield strength shown throughout Halo EU. Mass Effect weapons are way above Halos, their average pistol round travels 10x faster than the UNSC equivalent, and they pack a heavier punch. Also I'm sure Wrex's shield is way stronger than the Arbiters since he's shield has to take a lot of fire from those vastly more powerful M.E. guns. Basically, Wrex has superior firepower, shields, and hax cqc because of bionics, Arbiter has speed and agility.

Halo's average shield helps against directed energy weapons, explosions, as well as old fashion bullets. Average ME shield only help with against stuff like bullet and explosions. Armor, special shields, and biotics are what used to make up for the regular shields energy weapon flaw.
