Some Krogan feats SpeedQuick burst "“Five,” Aria stated, her voice making it clear the number wasn’t open for negotiation. “Nobody pays five percent!” the third turian objected, taking an angry step forward as his hand dropped to the pistol clipped to his hip. In a flash the krogan was beside him, his mammoth eight-foot frame looming over the smaller man. Slowly, the turian’s hand fell away from his weapon. Everybody else remained frozen until Aria gave a slight nod. The turian took a careful step back. A second later the krogan grunted, then did the same."
ME: Retribution, Page 42 Sustained "Grayson broke into a run, and seconds later three armed krogan burst from the warehouse in pursuit. Despite their massive bulk they could run much faster than humans, their muscular legs powering them along."
ME: Retribution, Page 252 A more Wrex specific feat, Disarming/Blitzing, also tossing a guy into the air i1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd485/infamousColeMacgrath/Just%20cuz/Wrextossrun1_zps39b78e49.jpgi1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd485/infamousColeMacgrath/Just%20cuz/Wrextossrun2_zpsa87848a4.jpgSurviving a big explosion then walking off another, more point blank, explosion caused by a sniper setting off his grenades. i1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd485/infamousColeMacgrath/Just%20cuz/Wrexexplosion1_zpsf6a7f80e.jpgi1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd485/infamousColeMacgrath/Just%20cuz/Wrexexplosion2_zps817f8293.jpgQuick and stealthy enough to get the drop on him i1222.photobucket.com/albums/dd485/infamousColeMacgrath/Just%20cuz/Wrexvssniper_zpsc848d9c9.jpg

I am going to list some of the weapon Upgrades Wrex could use.
-Anti-Personnel Rounds: [Designed to shred flesh and other organic matter, these rounds are particularly effective against living targets. They are likely similar in construction to hollow point rounds.
-Anti-Armor Rounds:Specifically designed to puncture metal, these rounds are particularly effective against synthetic targets.
-Tungsten Rounds:Tungsten rounds are typically smaller projectiles fired at higher speeds to increase penetrating power.
-Incendiary Rounds:Incendiary rounds consist of a thermite paste which clings to, and burns through, nearly any known substance.
-Inferno Rounds:Inferno rounds are incredibly powerful rounds that can melt or burn through virtually all known substances. This damages enemies and weakens their accuracy. {Note: Incendiary and Inferno rounds can stop the health regeneration of krogan enemies.}
-Cryo Rounds:Cooling lasers collapse ammunition into small Bose-Einstein condensate - a mass of super-cooled subatomic particles - capable of snap-freezing impacted objects.
-Snowblind Rounds: Snowblind Rounds inflict massive damage and destabilize enemies, reducing their accuracy.
-High Explosive Rounds:[ Designed to detonate on impact, high explosive rounds have one major drawback: a massive increase in weapon overheating. Please note that using Carnage will not result in weapon overheating, as using the ability creates no weapon heat.
-Hammerhead Rounds: Hammerhead ammunition, also called squash projectiles, are designed to flatten on impact, increasing the amount of physical force transferred to the target.
-Sledgehammer Rounds: Sledgehammer Rounds hit with incredible force, often knocking opponents completely off their feet. They are great for attacking a charging target, because the force of the rounds hitting the target can knock them to the ground. This makes them perfect for shotguns. Sledgehammer Rounds are also coated with polonium to induce radiation sickness in targets, as well as preventing enemy regeneration.
-Phasic Rounds: Instead of projectiles, upgraded weapons release charged particle bolts that can bypass kinetic barrier shields. However, the actual damage done to the target is typically less than what's done by a standard round.
-Proton Rounds: Instead of projectiles, upgraded weapons release energized protons capable of bypassing kinetic barrier shields. However, the actual damage inflicted on the target is typically less than that of a standard round.
-Chemical Rounds: _ Popular with pirates, criminals and mercenaries, these rounds are coated with a highly toxic compound.
-Polonium Rounds:This upgrade stamps a minuscule amount of radioactive polonium into every round fired, effectively poisoning enemy targets. It also prevents enemy regeneration.
-Radioactive Rounds:These rounds are stamped with a minuscule amount of radioactive material, inducing low levels of radiation sickness in targets. This sickness makes it more difficult for biotic or tech abilities to be deployed.

Radioactive Rounds:These rounds are stamped with a minuscule amount of radioactive material, inducing low levels of radiation sickness in targets. This sickness makes it more difficult for biotic or tech abilities to be deployed. So radiation can affect a bionics abilities? I guess it's a good thing the Arbiter is using a Covenant Carbine in this match since it also fires radioactive rounds, though I don't think he'll be able to land enough hits fast enough to break through Wrex's shield and bionic barrier. =/

Do you think that they will have the same effect on Arbiter's shields? I mean, they do less damage to the target its self, but Wrex can fire until his gun starts to over heat and would wait a second or two for it to cool down, never needing to actually reload, so the volume of fire can make up for the slightly lessened damage.

Lore wise, shouldn't much matter to Krogans. They can survive in hostile toxic environments where most other can't. For example Grunt can survive on haestrom without getting sick dispite the radiation. On top of that armor is sealed to protect against. Has the carbine ever even shown to sickness? Weapon don't overheat anymore unless Wrex is using the M7 Lancer or the particle beam weapons. They just use heat sinks. The current anti-shield rounds(disruptor round) unleashes an emp as well as shocking the target so I think they should work against Arbiter's shields. Though Wrex doesn't seem to use those currently.

If you're referring to Phasic Rounds, they're particle beams from what I understand, they won't bypass Halo's magishields, but they'll probably overload the Arbiters shields pretty quickly since Sangheili shields have been shown to be much weaker than a Spartan IIs against kinetic energy and thermal energy.

I was under the impression that Wrex had all weapon upgrades at his disposal, since on load out was provided for him and GA said that everything for him was maxed I assumed that meant that he also was given the best gear + mods. Duly noted on the ammo thing, I was also under the impression that we were using ME 1 Wrex, on account of the fact that I think thats the one GA was on (he hasn't reached the other games from what I know), so I was trying to use ME 1 style equipment.

Has the carbine ever even shown to cause sickness? Huh, now that I look at it, the only place I can find the radiation bit is in the wiki. Goddamn wikis >.> It's hinted at in the official source from Bungie here. But it doesn't really outright say radioactive bullets, I need to do some more searching. halo.bungie.net/projects/halo3/content.aspx?link=h3carbineI think it's also hinted at in the short story "The Return" where a Ship Master finds a wounded human shot by a carbine in the gut, makes a remark about how he's seen humans survive worst, but then leaves him behind thinking he'll die.
