Oh, I suppose that is a bit of a disadvantage. But remember that the Na'vi have Hell's Gate, which has factories and people who know how to use it's tech. Plus all of the guns from the big battle. I don't see it helping way much against things, but it does give them a bit more of a level field. The Na'vi themselves aren't exactly kosher with that tech. All those guns and technology represent the 'rape' of the natural world, so I really doubt any of it is used or might have even been demolished. Besides....a year? In a hostile jungle environment with no supplies from earth? Do the Na'vi look at all interested in cleaning/clearing the actions of guns?

I have to agree with Shadow Hells Gate is going to be where the command bunker every Star Destroyer carries gets sat at. And likely the first move aside from setting up turrets and firing up a couple AT-ST's will be to use flamethrowers to increase the distance between the new base and the forest by burning everything for a decent distance. That's what I would do anyway, increase the amount of open ground potential hostiles would have to cross to do anything.

No, the only one who might would be Jake but I doubt he could convince the other Na'vi. - Also do you think 20 or so years would be enough recoup time as opposed to one?

Okay I'll modify the OP then.

Yeah, I suppose. I don't know how long it takes for the giant trees they live in to grow, so that might limit their rebuilding abilities. And while Jake might realistically work to prepare for the possibility of RDA coming back, nothing he could do would prepare the Na'vi for the likes of an AT-AT or Hovertanks. The Galactic Empire in this case is an outside context enemy. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/OutsideContextVillain

This is true, and upped it to 20 years so the population should be back to pre war with RDA numbers or at the very least pre final battle numbers.

Also, lets not forget that the Invasion force is not going to go in blind. They'll probably drop a handful of probe droids down to study things, stay in space and use the Destroyers equipment to scan the planet and locate the tribes with out being noticed, so when they land, they will at least have a basic idea of moons layout, its creatures, and its people (all of this depends on the info the probes gather.)

@shadow interestingly enough that's what I had planned to have happen in my fic, have the probes scan the moon for a day then return with that data wanted to take some time to develop the characters naturally and not just land and fuck the planet. - Also didn't some humans stay on Pandora? I can't remember?

Yea, the two or three good scientists stayed behind.....they probably starved to death or something but....well, if they stayed at the human facility then they would be like two people with enough food and supplies to feed an army for multiple years, so they should still be around and keeping Hell's gate running, they would have to in order to survive.

Virtually every "corrected" Avatar fic I've read usually starts with dealing with the remaining Human traitors.

Thought so. Likely the Imperials would capture them and use them to get all the data in the computers on the natives and wildlife. The first thing they'd do upon landing would likely be search the facility to see what the deal is.

A.K.A. Shameless fix it's where people who absolutely hated the Na'vi write out how they would have things, usually taking place years later with a Humanity back for round two. Take this one for example: www.fanfiction.net/s/6851983/1/Pandora-s-Shadow-Never-Ending-RainThough some others decide to go all crossover, sometimes malevolently (in which case you can probably bet it will be the Imperium of Man) or maybe a bit more friendly and get Halo or something brought in.

Ah, well while I didn't like the Na'vi I'm doing this for fun, and because it is kinda fun. I already decided that for tomorrow I'm posting the reverse of this tomorrow too. Endor vs RDA found this wonderful image of Ewoks for it.
