I completely ignored the Mongrel King for a majority of his speech until he called upon the Knights name, him stepping forward and receiving a mystical amulet. Then calling forward the Dragon-Mongrel he had received a ring of sorts. "And as for you." The Mongrel-King had the audacity to use those words begged for his correction of his words. But that shall be dealt with at a later date I stepped forward. "Know not your name, nor any title you go by;however, I have witnessed your power over darkness and shadows." and pulled out a silver dagger with a black gem in-bedded in the hilt, along with a scabbard. Sliding the dagger into the scabbard , the Mongrel-king said,"For your utter ruthlessness on the battle field, for the advanced warning you provided, and for your slaying of the enemy general.....I present you with the King Slayer. A mystic dagger that we have kept hidden for many a generation after the exicution of its former owner. This dagger will find its mark, no matter how difficult your enemy is to strike at, no matter how well protected he may feel. This blade will find his heart." The king finished by handing it to me. I took it with disdain 'It's like they just gave me a measly slice of bread! How dare he!' I paused on my rant. 'Though its ability shall be most useful.' The Mongrel-King spoke once more " FROM THIS DAY FORWARD, I PROCLAIM THIS DAY...A HOLIDAY, FROM NOW UNTIL THE END OF TIME THESE THREE SHALL BE CELEBRATED AND THE FALLEN REMEMBERED ON THIS DAY!!!!! NOW, PEOPLE OF LEBRITH, RETURN TO YOUR HOMES MOURN YOUR DEAD, REJOICE IN THEIR SACRIFICE, AND NEVER FORGET THAT ONE DAY THIS LAND SHALL BE FREE. TAKE PRIDE IN THAT THE FALL OF THE SHADOW KING STARTED IN OUR KINGDOM!!!! with that the Mongrel-king raised his hands up, the mongrel-soldiers saluted, the mongrel crowds erupted into thunderous applause that lasted for nearly ten minutes before they started to file out of the garden, the Mongrel-king and his mongrel-aid departed to the castle. Then we were approached by another mongrel. A captain-mongrel by the looks of it. The king requests a private audience with you three in his chambers." The Mongrel-Captain stated. I shrugged nonchalantly. The other two began to walk inside I decided to follow them in when I felt a tugging at my cloak. 'Who dares to touch me!' I turn sharply to see what mongrel was dumb enough to dare approach me let alone touch me. When I heard a tiny voice. "Excuse me mister." I move my head down and I see. A little girl no older then 5 in a little brown dress with little brown eyes and a large dandelion in hand. "Thank you for protecting us mister." She smiles and offers me the flower. I slightly widen my eyes. 'Thank you?' "You-Your welcome child." I kneeled 'Darkness this is embarrassing.' Before the child and took the meager dandelion gently from her hands and her smile brightened even more. "Run along now child." I enthusiastically but gently push her to run along. But not before she gives me...a hug. I froze all motion. She let go quickly and began to run off turning around to wave one last time goodbye before running off. I slowly rise and monitor if anyone else was around. Thank darkness there wasn't. I look to the meager flower and slightly smirk 'A gift of absolute sincerity.' I begin to walk inside the castle while gazing at the dandelion.

Sir. Galen Farrel:
Elrog left Galen and his companions alone in the King's privet study, an adviser entered the room shortly after. "The King shall be with you momentarily." With that the adviser left, for three minutes they waited, none of them felt like sitting. Galen and Vokun propped against a wall while the Cloaked Man stood near a dark corner, 'I wonder what this is about'Galen thought, this was interrupted when Vokun nudged his arm, pointing to the Cloaked man. 'Is that a flower? .... I'll have to ask him what that's about." The king entered the room, nodding to each of them, he crossed the floor and sat behind his desk. "I have called you three here ask you just one last favor." The kings face conveyed his emotions, he was exhausted in body and spirit, " While it is true I have sent messengers to spread news of our victory here, I need something more." The king sighed heavily," The task I have for you is this, I want you to carry news of our victory to the Ninth Tower of Sabros; however, there is a catch. This is no simple message delivery, I want....no, I need you to take my daughter with you. My kingdom was nearly lost last night, and though recruitment has jumped seven score, we will not have the same army we had. Troops take time to train and I fear the shadow armies retribution will be swift. I cant bare the thought of them taking my daughter, so I entrust her to you." He looked each of them in the eye, " I am already ad vising who want to leave to do so; however, I know that the only true haven is the Ninth Tower." Galen was taken aback, " Your Majesty, are you su-" the king cut him off. " Yes, I am sure. You know the stories, about how they take women and do unspeakable horrors to them. No, I have a feeling that we are running on borrowed time now and I WILL use this time to make sure that the only thing I truly care about is safe." Galen nodded, then glanced at his companions, Vokun's mask hid his face but his eyes were lost in deep thought, and the cloaked man's eyes looked as if he was both amused and annoyed at the same time. The king stood as another adviser entered the room. "Please," the king pleaded with them, will you help me one last time?". Galen again looked to his companions. The cloaked man just shrugged, indifference oozed off of him; however, Vokun's eyes flashed, some unheard conflict had been settled, Vokun's golden eyes locked with Galen's as he nodded his answer. "We except." Galen proclaimed, the king smiled and signaled his adviser as he retook his seat. " this way." the adviser said. Just as Galen and his companions entered the hallway, Galen glanced over his shoulder at the cloaked man. " Oh, and you highness. Whats with the flower?"

The adviser left, Leaving them alone for several minutes. Vokun and Galen leaned against a wall while the royal stood in a dark corner. Vokun Thought; 'is that a...' Vokun nudged Galen then pointed at the royal. Then the king entered the room and sat behind the desk. "I have called you three here ask you just one last favor." The king spoke." My kingdom was nearly lost last night, and though recruitment has jumped seven score, we will not have the same army we had. Troops take time to train and I fear the shadow armies retribution will be swift. I cant bare the thought of them taking my daughter, so I entrust her to you." Memories started to flood Vokun's mind. Galen was taken aback, " Your Majesty, are you su-" the king cut him off. " Yes, I am sure. You know the stories, about how they take women and do unspeakable horrors to them. 'That day...' "Vokun! Ju"! Rya screamed. "Help ME"! "Please"! No, I have a feeling that we are running on borrowed time now and I WILL use this time to make sure that the only thing I truly care about is safe." 'Princess...' Vokun though. "Leave her.....". It was the voice. " A knight, a princess and a dragon". "A story like this only ends in one way for us....". "No"! "I couldn't protect Rya but i fill protect this girl!" Vokun's mind screamed back. "What makes you think you can do this"? It asked. "Ahrk fin zul, rok drey kod, nau tol morokei frod, Rul lot Taazokaan motaad voth kein! Sahrot Thu'um, med aan tuz, vey zeim hokoron pah, Ol fin Dovahkiin komeyt ok rein." Vokun thought. The voice responded. "Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin, naal ok zin los vahriin, Wah dein vokul mahfaeraak ahst vaal! Ahrk fin norok paal graan fod nust hon zindro zaan, Dovahkiin, fah hin kogaan mu draal". Power surged within Vokun. "Perhaps You will...." Coming back to reality, Vokun's eyes shined bright with determination. Galen looked to him for afferent. Vokun nodded. "We except." Galen proclaimed, the king smiled and signaled his adviser as he retook his seat. " this way." the adviser said. I enter the kings study shortly after the two had already entered. Heading to a dark corner I settled myself by placing my right boot on the corner whilst I continue to gaze at the flower. The king entered the room, nodding to each of them, he crossed the floor and sat behind his desk. The mongrel-king then entered the room "I have called you three here ask you just one last favor." The mongrel-kings face conveyed his emotions, he was exhausted in body and spirit, " While it is true I have sent messengers to spread news of our victory here, I need something more." He looked each of them in the eye, " I am already advising who want to leave to do so; however, I know that the only true haven is the Ninth Tower." The knight spoke up. " Your Majesty, are you su-" the king cut him off. " Yes, I am sure. You know the stories, about how they take women and do unspeakable horrors to them. No, I have a feeling that we are running on borrowed time now and I WILL use this time to make sure that the only thing I truly care about is safe." The Knight looked to the Dragon-Mongrel. Then to me 'This will be another annoyance, but perhaps I can make good of this.' The king stood as another adviser entered the room. "Please," the Mongrel-king pleaded with them, "will you help me one last time?". I was half tempted to say no. But then I figured 'I don't reall care.' With that I shrugged my shoulders. The knight then said "We except." The knight proclaimed as if they accepted an important mission. The mongrel-king smiled and signaled his adviser as he retook his seat. " this way." the mongrel-adviser said. Just as we entered the hallway the knight had turned to me and asked "Oh, and your highness. What's with the flower?" I quickly widen and narrow my eyes. Then quickly but carefully placed the flower in my pocket. "That is none of your concern mongrel." I said then slapped him In the back of the helmet making him stumble abit forward. "Now quit wasting time lets move." I quickly take the lead and letting the mongrel regain his balance the dragon-mongrel looked at me disapprovingly. I didn't really care and so we continue to our destination.

Princess Karliah of Lebrith:
"Hurry up now mi lady." the handmaiden said as Karliah stepped from the washroom. Karliah looked at the withered old handmaiden and smiled sweetly. 'I wonder if she knows her son didn't make the night?' Karliah thought as she quickly dawned her Forest Elf warrior attire," Do you know who my father has chosen to accompany me?","No mi lady, he only told me to have you ready." With that Karliah sighed,'why am I leaving at all. I can fight, and besides, Father is just over reacting, there is no way the shadow army will return after the defeat we handed them." Karliah reached up, pulling the pin from her hair, letting her golden mane fall to her slender shoulders.'Now lets see,' Karliah thought as she mentally counted off her equipment, patting pouches and scabbards to be sure. 'Herbs...check, poisons....check, daggers......check,check,& check,.....quiver & arrows...check. All here, now all need is Blood Thorn.' "Excuse me mi lady," the handmaiden said,"I believe your looking for this?" Karliah smiled as she took the bow, "and don't worry, I wont tell your father you took it for ..... "target practice" last night, as long as you promise not to do anything foolish on your journey." Karliah nodded, taking the bow and slipping it in the custom holder on her back. "I promise, and--," Karliah was interrupted by a knock at her door." come in!" the handmaiden called, hurrying out of sight to finish tidying up. Karliah, standing in the center of the room, watched with cool and curious forest-green eyes and three men filed in behind her fathers adviser. 'Now this IS a strange trio, a knight, a masked man, and ..... some cloaked mage by the looks of him.' Karliah waited as the aide spoke to them and departed, leaving the four of them alone in silence.

Sir. Galen Farrel:
Galen stood, enraptured by the women who stood before them, her shoulder length golden hair hung loosely from her head, her deep forest-green eyes studied each of them intensely." I present you," the adviser started,"princess Karliah of Lebrith." he paused for a moment,"I will leave you four to get acquainted, once you have done so, report to the main gate. There you will find horses that have been loaded with supplies for your journey." On that note, he departed leaving Galen and his companions alone with the Princess.Galen cleared his throat and steeped forward," Princess," Galen bowed,"I am Sir. Galen Farrel, and these are my companions," Galen glanced back at Vokun and found him just as awestruck as he was, turning back Galen rose from the bow,{gesturing}"Vokun," Vokun snapped out of his daze and gave a slight bow," and this is a Noble form the Dark Plains who has agreed to assist us." Galen said as he gestured to the cloaked man, this prompted the man to fold his arms in annoyance about being addressed like this." We have been tasked by your father to keep you safe on our way to the Great Tower of Sabros." Galen watched as the princess eyes looked at him, the forest-green irises turned as cold as steel, seeing this Galen froze, unsure of what he did. "I have three rules," the Princess said, jabbing a finger into Galen's chest plate,"Rule one: Do not bow to me,in this expedition we are on equal footing. Rule two: Do not Coddle me, I am a trained warrior and can hold my own in battle." She paused for effect, "Finally, rule three: DON'T CALL ME PRINCESS, I am not going to reiterate my self again on that one." Galen went red faced, unsure of what to do,"What....would you like to be called?" he asked nervously, not wanting to get off on the wrong foot. Seeing this, Karliah smiled and gave a playful laugh to ease his mind," you can call me Karliah." With that, the four of them made their way to the main gate. The smell hit Galen before they got half way, 'I do NOT envy them.' Galen thought as he saw the people ordered to collect the dead soldiers' bodes from the rotting battle field. Just outside the main gate they found four horses, saddled and set with supplies, waiting on them. As Galen and his companions mounted up, the cloaked man not fallowing suit, the King approached. He said his final fairwell to his daughter and her protectors, then made his way back to the gates and stood there waiting for them to be off.Galen looked to the cloaked man eyeing the horse provided him with disdain. "Whats the matter your highness, are you not coming?" Galen said with a hint of humerus sarcasm. The cloaked man ignored him, instead summoning a dark beast. This beast was as large as a horse; however, it resembled an armadillo in body shape. Protruding from its face were low, sharp tusks, it had six legs and a long spiked tail. a saddle of darkness appeared on its back along with reins. Snapping his fingers, the supplies that were on the would be mount, drifted through the air and into a darkness portal near the beast. With that the cloaked man mounted his creature, Galen donned his helmet, Vokun adjusted his mask, Karliah pulled her hood/mask over her head & mouth area. They set off, heading west to the Ninth Tower of Sabros and their destinies.

Vokun:
As the warriors followed the aide, Vokun was deep in thought. 'A princess....I can't fail this....i can't.' The aid opened the door at the end of the hall. ' I can't....wow'. The three warriors entered the room. 'She's...an elf'. " I present you," the adviser started,"princess Karliah of Lebrith." 'Wow'. Vokun was transfixed. 'Wow'. the adviser paused for a moment,"I will leave you four to get acquainted, once you have done so, report to the main gate. There you will find horses that have been loaded with supplies for your journey." On that note, he departed leaving the warriors alone with the Princess. Galen cleared his throat and steeped forward," Princess," Galen bowed,"I am Sir. Galen Farrel, and these are my companions. He turned and looked at Vokun. 'Arrgh get over yourself Vokun'! ' You've been around royalty you know how to act'. Shaking of his daze, Vokun bowed ever so slightly. After introducing the royal. "I have three rules," the Princess said, jabbing a finger into Galen's chest plate, 'Rules'? Vokun thought. "Rule one: Do not bow to me,in this expedition we are on equal footing. 'Thats fair.' Rule two: Do not Coddle me, I am a trained warrior and can hold my own in battle." Vokun just stares at her. She paused for effect, "Finally, rule three: DON'T CALL ME PRINCESS, I am not going to reiterate my self again on that one." Galen went red faced. 'Hahahahaha'. 'Im gonna like this girl'. 'What....would you like to be called?" Galen asked nervously. 'Galen...don't tell me she's the first princess you've ever met'. The princess smiled and gave a playful laugh," you can call me Karliah." She said. With that, the four of them made their way to the main gate. As soon as they left the castle, Vokun could smell it. 'Death....a lot of it.' Just outside the main gate they found four horses, saddled and set with supplies, waiting on them. The warriors mounted up. The royal had a look of refusal when the King approached. He said his final fairwell to his daughter and her protectors, then made his way back to the gates and stood there waiting for them to be off.Galen looked to the royal to see him eyeing the horse provided him with disdain. " I present you," the mongrel-adviser started,"princess Karliah of Lebrith." he paused for a moment,"I will leave you four to get acquainted, once you have done so, report to the main gate. There you will find horses that have been loaded with supplies for your journey." On that note, he departed. I stood to the left of the mongrels and for the first time I've seen a real life elf 'Half-Elf but still an elf.' Though I acted as if I bothered to listen. I zoned all but myself out and went into thought. 'This 'princess' had better be worth my time for if not it'll be on the mongrel's head.' I thought darkly. " and this is a Noble form the Dark Plains who has agreed to assist us." Galen said as he gestured to me I frowned and crossed my arms in annoyance at being referred to just a noble. 'I'll correct that once we leave this place.' Then the 'princess' had went on about her three 'rules' I mentally snorted 'I shall call you whatever I please.' Then the idiotic fool of a knight then got all flustered and the princess simply laughed it off. With that waist of time done we head to the Main gate when my poor nose was filled with the horrendous stenches of the battlefield. 'I almost pity the mongrels that have to clean this battlefield.' Keyword almost. Just outside the gate I spotted outr would be mounts. Four horses and supplies loaded onto their backs. I stop immediately. 'I refuse to ride such a animal.' I mentally stated coldly. I barely noticed the mongrel-king say his farewells to the 'princess.' "Whats the matter your highness, are you not coming?" The knight said with a hint of humerus sarcasm. 'I shall definitely punish you for your arrogance.' I summoned a dark beast moun.t This beast was as large as a horse; however, it resembled an armadillo in body shape. Protruding from its face were low, sharp tusks, it had six legs and a long spiked tail. I formed a dark saddle upon its back . I snapped my fingers, the supplies that were on the would be mount, drifted through the air and into a darkness portal near the beast. I mounted it the other 3 mongrels adjusting themselves accordingly and then we're off to gain the power that I need.

Sir. Galen Farrel:
They rode west for three days, 'getting to the Ninth Tower of Sabros will a five week journey', Galen thought as he studied a map with Karliah. She noted on how they would be crossing through Shadow army territory if they go the quick route, so here they are, pushing their horses along the difficult mountain, tight and winding mountain path. The sun was beginning to set as they stopped and made camp for the night, snow fell from the sky in a thick cluster, around the fire they sat swapping stories, and generally enjoying each others company save for the cloaked man who brooded near the cliff side. 'I wonder what his deal is?' Galen thought as he and Vokun listened to Karliah's tale of marksmen ship and espionage training.' Vokun seemed to be genuinely at ease with Karliah, they sat side by side laughing and joking.....' Galen stood, the cloaked man quickly rose to his feet. "We are not alone ." Galen said deadpan when the other two looked at him. The snow fall became a blizzard as the others reached for there weapons. Galen threw himself to the ground as a large spike of ice flew out from darkness, They were upon Galen and his companions they could react, Ice Golems. The huge golems were three feet taller than Galen, each weighed hundreds of pounds, and there were six charging them. Regaining his footing, Galen used Ravager to slice off the lead Golems right leg, it toppled but kept coming, ' This is going to take a while,' Galen thought, as vokun and Karliah tried to stop the other, but failed. Galen got an idea,"Vokun!!!! Use you flame breath". Vokun responded by ripping off his mask and released a gout of fire, five were reduced to two. The nearest gole precede to back hand Vokun into the icy rock wall, Galen soon lost sight of karliah, the cloaked man and Galen stood on the cliff edge, the cloaked man smirked, using darkness to shatter the last to. Galen looked at him, saw the smug-look on his face, Galen took two steps forward and saw it, one last golem flying off the top of the rock wall, the cloaked man didn't see it, the storm was picking up Galen couldn't see his hinds in front of his face. He felt the golem rocket past him, herd it crack into the cliff side in between the cloaked man and himself. Galen lunged, blinded by the snow, he reached out, hit the ice, the ground crumbled, he caught something warm. a great weight was pressing on him now, he looked back , still hanging his arms over the now gaping hole. The snow cleared and Galen could see the one legged golem, it had him pined under a bolder of snow. Galen looked down, Saw that he had caught the cloaked man by the hand and was now the only thing keeping him from dropping. The sounds of battle erupted, the golem cried out. its ice block head bounced over the cliff. Vokun used a weak version of his fire breath to melt the bolder, while Karliah griped Galen's feet. Galen squeezed the cloaked mans hand with all his might, making sure his grip didn't faultier,"Hold on!!"Galen yelled down to the cloaked man,"I've got you!!!" A few moments later Galen pulled the Cloaked man back to safety. For the rest of the night none of them sleept, they sat in silent thought, looking at one another, and waited out the snow storm.

Vokun:
They rode west for three days, 'The journey to the tower's gonna take at least a month.' Vokun thought. Galen was studying a map with Karliah debating on which route to go. By this time Vokun's voice had also healed. The sun was beginning to set as they stopped and made camp for the night, snow fell from the sky in a thick cluster, around the fire they sat swapping stories, everyone was enjoying themselves except for the royal who stood alone near the cliff side. Karliah was telling a story of her training. "Hahahaha"! Vokun doubled over from laughter. "What"!? Karliah asked him. "What's so funny"!? "Hahahahaha...Woman, you couldn't hit a mountain giant with a trebuchet"! She laughed while she punched him in the arm. "Screw you Vokun"! I killed at least one hundred dark soldiers! "Hahahahaha With what"!? Vokun responded. "Your little elven arrows"!? "I don't think booboo's are lethal". Karliah shot back; "At least i don't need a mask to cover my dragon face"! their laughter quickly died when Galen rose and said; " We're not alone..." The snow fall became a blizzard as the others reached for there weapons. Galen threw himself to the ground as a large spike of ice flew out from darkness, They were upon the warriors before they could react, Ice Golems. They were massive, ten foot behemoths and there were five charging them. Regaining his footing, Galen used Ravager to slice off the lead Golems right leg, it toppled but kept coming. Likewise Karliah and Vokun attempted to take another one down. Arrows in it's eyes and no legs the thing still pushed forward. "Vokun!!!! Use you flame breath"! Galen Shouted. Vokun responded by ripping off his mask and released a blast of fire, five were reduced to two. The nearest golem precede to back hand Vokun into the icy rock wall. *Slam* "That....hurt...a lot". For several minutes the world was a blur. Vokun could only hazily pick out shapes but it was clear the royal and Galen were in danger. As his vision repaired it's self he could see the image of an ice golem getting clearer. Karliah! He shouted. Kill it!. He didn't see how she killed it, only the blurry headless body. limping over to Galen he saw a boulder of snow trapping him. Lifting his mask a little he blew a small flame into the boulder, melting it while Karliah griped Galen's feet. A few moments later Galen pulled the Cloaked man back to safety. For the rest of the night none of them sleept, they sat in silent thought and waited out the snow storm.

We had rider for three days. Through all kinds of locations hot and cold alike. We had stopped at a high mountain pass to take another look at the map. He could hear the dragon-mongrel and the 'princess' arguing about something then laughing. " Then the knight-mongrel had risen up and finally sensed the other presences that were nearby. "We're not alone." I stare at him and optically have him the equivalent of 'No!Really?!" snow fall became a blizzard as the others reached for there weapons. Mongrel-knight threw himself to the ground as a large spike of ice flew out from darkness, They were upon the warriors before they could react, Ice Golems. They were massive, ten foot behemoths and there were five charging them. I was quick to engage the other 2 golems and crush them with 2 Giant hands of darkness. 'That should be it.' The storm was picking up I couldn't see even two feet in front of me! Then I a great force pushing against me 'oof!' I heard something crack into the cliff side in between me and something. I lost my sense of balance once I was tackled and now currently I'm over a cliff. 'Well..this is...bad.' I finally noticed a pair of hands holding my arms. It was the Knight-Mongrel he looked down, Saw that he caught me and believes he has caught me and is the only thing keeping me from falling. 'I'll let him have his hero moment.' The sounds of battle erupted, the golem cried out. its ice block head bounced over the cliff. 'Ha! I betcha you weren't 'heading' in that direction.' The knight mongrel squeezed my hands with all his might, making sure his grip didn't faultier,"Hold on!!"The knight-mongrel yelled down to the me ,"I've got you!!!" A few moments later The knight-mongrel pulled me back to safety. For the rest of the night none of them sleept, they sat in silent thought, looking at one another, and waited out the snow storm.

Princess Karliah of Lebrith:
Karliah took the lead the next morning; She guided them through the mountain pass.over the next several hours the four of them descended from the mountains, dispatching a few wolf packs and a bear as they did so, until they came to the tree line of Frost Glade forest.' This is going to take a while,'Karliah thought as she visualized the map. The forest stretched fro a thousand miles in both directions, the fastest way would be to cross through; however, there are........unpleasant things in the Frost Glade. "Well?" Galen asked from a few feet behind her,"which way?""Strait through." She said and began to move closer to the forest, the others on her heels. Though it was early in the morning the sky darkened considerably the deeper they went, Karliah didn't mind it though, she saw every thing in the dark....{thwack}..."shit"...Galen; however, didn't. It had been an hour since they saw daylight, the ground had a cold mist covering it,'now lets see, we have traveled for an hour.....now....left." As Karliah turned her hearing picked up on movement in the brush about one hundred yards ahead."Stay here," she ordered the group, she looked at Vokun who was leading the horses," tie them to a tree and get out of sight." Vokun nodded. Karliah turned to the nearest tree and sprinted strait up it, disappearing into the dense foliage. She moved silently from tree branch to tree branch, her agility keeping her from crashing to the ground. The movement Karliah had spotted was a Minotaur; the Minotaur was crouched over the broken body of a centaur. 'Well, now that's not something you see every day,' Karliah thought as the Minotaur searched the body of the centaur, distracted for a moment. 'Ok, I think it best that we avoid this beast for n-" {snap} The Minotaur snapped its head up 'Damn!' Karliah fumed,'I told them to stay quiet . The Minotaur was up and charging through the forest, directly for her friends.

As soon as it was the crack of dawn we left the mountains the 'princess' leading the way down and out of the mountains. 'Good riddance it was rather chilly.' Over the next several hours the four of us descended from the mountains, dispatching a few wolf packs and a bear as we did so, until we came to the tree line of a rather large forest. "Well?" The knight-mongrel had asked a few feet behind her "which way?""Strait through." She said and began to move closer to the forest, the rest of us right behind her. Though it was early in the morning the sky darkened considerably the deeper they went, I didn't mind infact it might as well have been daytime since I can see in the dark. {Thwack} "You fool." I berated him "Shit" the knight-mongrel swore. It's been an hour since we had seen daylight...not that I was complaining,in fact it was nice to have a walk in the dark. The 'princess' had paused then said "Wait here." I mentally snorted 'Mongrel you do not hold power over me.' I thought darkly 'sooner or later, they must learn that I'm not to be trifled with.' She then went on to give the dragon-mongrel to tie up the horses and get out of sight. Thankfully I dispelled my mount some time ago. Then she went up a tree vanishing from the other two mongrels sight. I then sink into my shadow and follow forth, when I reach her I entered her shadow and simply stayed there. 'She can do the rest of the work' I grinned smugly unseen by all. 'Lets see how you feel to carry true royalty.' She then stopped I peered from her shadow at why she stopped. A rather nasty looking bull-man mongrel was standing over what looked like a dead horse-man mongrel. Then I heard a rather loud snapping as if a twig was stepped on...Only the knight-mongrel could of done that.'Damned Fool!' I mentally hiss vehemently at the clumsy nature of the knight-mongrel. The Bull-man mongrel snapped its head and got up and started to charge through the forest towards my pawn and the dragon-mongrel. 'Well....shit.'

Sir. Galen Farrel:
Karliah had told them to wait silently wile she scouted ahead. ' I hope she hasn't run into trouble,' Galen thought, propping himself against a tree' She's been gone a long--'{snap} A small branch snapped as Galen, unknowingly, shifted his weight onto it while watching Vokun tend to the horses. No one moved,' That may as well have been a trumpet blast in this quiet place! I sure hope nothing heard that.' As if answering Galen's thoughts, a loud crashing could be heard, getting closer through the underbrush. The last thought Galen had before the situation went to hell was 'DAMN!!!'.

Vokun:
The group followed Karliah through a dark forest. Despite the fact that he could see perfectly fine, he could tell the forest was near pitch black. *Thwack* "Shit"!. Galen had walked right into a branch. Vokun laughed to himself silently. He heard a strange noise in the distance that stifled his laughter. 'Whatever it is...it sounds big...smells like a...bull'? He thought. "Stay here," she ordered the group, she looked at Vokun who was leading the horses," tie them to a tree and get out of sight." Vokun nodded. 'Did she hear it too'? Her senses must really be...*he face palms* right forest elf. Karliah turned to the nearest tree and sprinted straight up it, disappearing into the dense foliage. Vokun made sure to listen in on her, make sure she was okay while he tied up the horses. 'Her heartbeat jumped a little'. He mused. 'She must have saw something big.' *Snap* Vokun whipped his head around to see Galen with a broken branch under his foot. "You Idiot!"He said snapping his head back around. 'I smell...adrenaline....and a lot of it'. As the thunderous sound approached Vokun thought; 'This is gonna hurt'.
