Sir. Galen Farrel/Alpha:
'Take them now!' Screamed the beast, Galen felt his jaw pop out of place...it had started to transform....but he was in command.
"I," He said, his face contorting in pain as he forced his jaw back into place, "still do not fully remember who I am, but I remember you.........."The name came to him,"Exoba."
He saw the giant standing, looking at both of them, he could smell the confusion flooding off of the man. "I .... I can not allow you to kill this Knight." He took his hand from Exoba's shoulder. "I can not deny what I have done, and I know he came for me. He fought with honor, there is no honor in the way you are attempting to finish him......"
He shook his head, trying to recall the names of the others...but to no avail.
"I do not remember the names of the others.....the masked man nor the half elf......but I know we traveled a long time....if you travel with this giant then you must see some value in him. If anything it would be foolish to dispose of such a worthy warrior, espessially against the odds we face.....or are you a fool? If so, then continue." with that Galen walked to the far wall and jerked the giants shield from the wall, sliding it to him.

Exoba:
Exoba couldn't believe it the insolence! "How arrogant of you..." He shrugged his shoulders "Very well this brute may live if he furthers my own goals." But with that his voice became much more sinister. "But if he becomes a liability..it's on your head." With that his annoyance vanished from his voice. "Oh by the way mongrel" He closed the gap between them and spin kicked galen into a nearby tree with extreme force. "Consider that as punishment for all those times you've angered me. Consider that a love tap compared to the other fools who blatantly disrespected me." Exoba's cheery mood seemed uninterrupted by what he just did. "I know you're already fine seeing that you have blood of a Werewolf." Galen looked in shock at him "What? think I didn't know come now mongrel it's blatantly obvious." He shrugged his shoulders and looked to the Giant.
"You work for the gods but you now are in my services as well. Consider it your payment for allowing me to spare you." The Giant looked ready to rebuke that statement. But Exoba silenced him with his own statement "Now move it you two. I detect a large well of magical power nearby." Not truly caring whether or not the two followed he walked back into the wilderness towards the source of Darkness. 'I can already feel the power.' He smirked 'Soon very soon I shall have the means to garner my path...my path to Godhood.'

Elric dipped down and snatched up Defender quickly. Watching the events unfold before him. The Demon had made the black hooded one stop his attack, talking about how the man he called 'Exoba' had attacked him dishonorably. He spoke the truth, but it seemed like the Exoba fellow couldn't deal with this truth and hurt his own friend.
Exoba was not someone to be trusted, in the slightest. He wished he could carve off the mans head. But it was not the wishes of the Gods right now, should he step outside the boundaries though there would be no holding back.
He walked over to the now risen Demon, he stared down at him in a few moments of silence and let out a long sigh.
"You gave me my life where I would have taken yours." Said Elric, contemplating over his words and how he should say them. "I must thank you, for you have shown mercy. And so shall I." He extended a hand to him, a friendly gesture that he quickly ruined. "But if you turn again... I will not hesitate to bring down the wrath of the divine upon your head..."

Sir. Galen Farrel/Alpha:
He took the giants hand. "Fair enough," but he decided to give the giant something to think on. "but know this, even as I stand here.....my blood boils, my bones splinter and reform, I have a voice.....a presence that is not my own shouting at me. It begs me to give in....to let it take control. During our battle I fought more than you....I also fought myself....." He looked up at the man that dwarfed even him. "You are a warrior of your gods......and I am fighting a hell that is within my own flesh. "
He sighed, "I am slowly mastering this monster ....... but should I fail, should the beast claim me against my will.............then may your gods give you the strength to face what lives just beneath my flesh." almost on cue, his body started to shift, pain ripped his body as he forced it to return to its normal size. "May..."he said, gasping for breath as his lungs reformed "maybe one day I will be free.....but until then, I will suffer this curse....master it, and use it to make amends for what I have done."
With that he looked ahead, the gap between them and Exoba widening. "Come now, we must not let the dark one get away from us."

Elric took what the Demon said under consideration and racked his mind over it all. Then he responded with one phrase, and only one before they left to catch up with Exoba. He uttered it in a soft voice, as if to not be heard by anyone else besides those two.
"May the Gods give you strength to endure your struggle."
Then, with that, he broke the handshake and continued on as if nothing had happened. His pace was more than enough to make up the distance between them and Exoba and was even forced to slow down so he wouldn't pass him. Where they were heading, he didn't know, nor did he care... All he knew was that he should keep an eye on this Exoba and make sure that he doesn't get out of hand. There was no doubt in his mind that he would cut him down in an instant should he step out of line.

Exoba: The Storm was in full swing now thunder roaring overhead and rain was falling onto his robes though he could care less. He was more concerned with the source of Dark Magic that was radiating so much power. 'Where are you blasted?' A bolt of lightning struck mere feet away from him struck the ground. "Where are you damn you?!" His frustration reached an all time high and he released a Dark Wave The wave of Darkness flew forward casually knocking trees down and outright destroying the smaller ones. Until the wave dispersed once it hit an invisible barrier. "Found you!" He grinned with joy comparable to that of a child who has found something they lost. Immediately sprinting forward ignoring the cries of the mongrel.
As soon as Exoba reached the location where the wave dispersed he saw that it was an entrance......Covered in Fog. 'Well that's new.' He touched the Fog Wall and proceeded forward seeing that the Wall was safe...for him at least as far as he knew it could potentially kill the mongrels.....'Oh well not my problem.' With that thought he stepped through Once he passed the wall his eyes widened and he froze...."Impossible...This can't be.....The Legends...surely they can't be true..." he sensed that the two mongrels finally passed through seeing that they were oblivious to what he said moments before. Perhaps this wall also blocks sound as well..hmm interesting..."Well if this is what I think it is..." He steadied his voice trying to remove some amount of his overwhelming excitement. "Then I have reached the Greatest treasure trove of the Dark Plains....The Temple of the Dark Overlord" He spoke of the title with envy and yet holy respect for the Entity. He looked to see the brute-mongrel mutter several words but none of them he cared to bother with until from the Brute's hand a ball of light formed the same kind he used to light up the cave knight-mongrel was in. Once the light reached the impossibly high roof of the surprising room Exoba's eye's widened beyond belief once more. There were four colossal figures figures easily twice the size of the Brute-Mongrels. Exoba immediately recognized them "Dark Steel Golems...I thought they were all destroyed with the end of the Great War...." Then he saw that thankfully inactive. 'Hopefully we can keep it that way.' "You mongrels whatever you do don't touch these statues....in fact don't touch anything at all." Wait...."You mongrel who's name do you invoke for that ball of light? I demand to know."

The storm had picked up, the Gods were angry about something. Perhaps it was this dark one, Exoba, or the fact he let the Demon live... Or it may not be something they did at all. But the winds picked up and rain fell upon his shiny armor. The sudden bolt of lightning in front of Exoba was pleasing, he smiled inwardly. The Gods had a sense of humor, that he knew. But the tantrum he threw afterwards made him groan softly. It was sad to see someone so angry, destruction for the sake of destruction.
But it seemed he had discovered what he had came to see.
Elric stepped on through the fogginess, a cold feeling washing over him as he came in. Shadows plagued this place, shifting on the walls and hiding away unholy beasts in every corner. He did not like the dark. It made him uncomfortable and feel alone... the light held comfort and warmth.
Illuminate my path... cast away the shadows of the heart, cast away the shadows of the soul...
The orb of light appeared in his hand once more, staring into its brilliance gave him warmth and strength to face the dark. With a light toss to get it going, it rose into the sky of its own accord and hovered near the ceiling. It cast light across the cavern, and revealed what looked like large suits of dark armor. They were still, but the Exoba fellow called them 'Darksteel Golems' or whatever those were.
"This place reeks of death." He muttered to himself, barely noticing that Exoba had asked him a question. He glanced at him and tilted his head, what was the sudden interest in the Gods he called upon.
"I invoke the God of the Sun, Solaire." He explained, wondering why he wanted to know this particular piece of information.

Sir. Galen Farrel/Alpha:
The beast was silent.....even it was unsettled by this temple. 'so this is why I avoided this part of the forest.' He half heard the others arguing, something else had his attention...a....hum. It started a few moments after the Giant cast his ball of light and was only growing louder.
"We are no longer alone." Galen warned, his keen eye sight noticed the giant statues before them start to vibrate, the hum that was apparently only he could here, seemed to resonate withing the four giant golems.
"If you are not prepared for battle..." his sentence was cut short by a large cracking noise.

*SOME TIME LAAATEEEERRRRRR*
Neroth stood on a decently-sized mound of Razor Beast corpses, all of them drained of their energy to help fuel the slaughter of their kin. He himself appeared to have dunked himself in a river of their blood, as had the area around him. But that wasn't what was important, something he noted as he sucked the life out of his last few kills. The soldiers had been protected, the death shield having performed its task marvelously, and between him the elf and the dragon-man (though a lot of it him he had also noted) the swarm was down to about a dozen beasts or so, give or take a coupe. Visibility was much better now so it was much easier to direct any fire to slaying the last beasts. And most importantly, the level of drain-and-steal he'd had to perform had made him better, oh yes. It was a feeling he wasn't quite used to but had experienced several times before and logically concluded that it would continue to happen to him until he died again. Like the force that had risen him had bestowed more power to him for his form of service. "I must still try and find out exactly what happened", he muttered to himself as he watched the remaining beasts fight his allies, "I don't know of many Gods that would be so eager to create something like me..."

Exoba:
As the knight-mongrel muttered those last words the Dark Iron Golems began to activate themselves. Exoba glared at Galen harshly "You Moron..if you value your life you'll get down on the ground with hands held up. Double for you, you lumbering fool I will not destroy these sacred relics. So I hope you enjoy fighting them all of." The giant looked hesitant but once the Golems began to close in on them he complied with the command. He snorted "Good Mongrel now stay still and I shall quell they're attack." He moved several feet bringing the attention of all 4 golems to himself. he readied himself and took a breath then spoke in his Native tongue. "Iacio vestri telum titans of chalybs pro EGO sum a princeps of obscurum quod EGO prex obvius in tenor illae templum" The Golems stopped their attacks for a moment to recognize the verbal command....Yet after several moments the Golems continued their walk. 'Well least I tried' When the Golem's axes were mere feet awat from striking another voice boomed through out the temple this one dark and sinister "Ah so you come at last. Good, now you four! lower your arms this....Prince and his slaves are welcome here return to thy rest." The Golem's returned to their posts and deactivated. As if nothing went wrong Exoba shrugged his shoulders. The voice spoke once more "Now that situation has been contained I eagerly await you in the next room. Young Dark Beast."

Princess Karliah of Lebrith:
The storm was nearing an end, the rain had slackened, the wind slowed, sunlight was starting to show through the thinning clouds. Dark, thick blood ran from Needlefang's jaws as he swallowed a hunk of meat ripped from a beast that flew to close. Her beasts body was cut and bloodied, a few arrows of friendly fire stuck out of his chest and wings, but he was in good spirit and flying smoothly. Karliah herself was soaked to the bone and sprinkled with a few drops of stray beast blood.
"Only a few more." She said, as much to her self as her mount. She had run out of arrows long ago, instead she pulled the last stick from the spare bundles she had brought. Notching the stick, the bows magic was invoked, she drew her bow....the stick morphing into an arrow as it reached full draw. The arrow struck true, dropping a beast from the sky. She scanned the area.....nothing.
"Looks like w---" a sudden screech ripped the sky, the last beast had flown up into the clouds, unaccounted for in the confusion of the battle. Karliah had no time to react, it slammed into her full force, its taloned feet dug deep into her shoulder. Karliah screamed in pain, her bow fell from her grasp, suddenly she was falling, Needlefang had tackled the beast, the two of them grappling in mid air, but the Razor beast was stronger. A spike shot from its foot, stabbing deep into Needlefang's side. The beast broke loose, flapping away, its flight instinct kicking in.
A shadow passed over Karliah as she plummeted, she turned, facing the razor beast as it dived for her, talons out stretched. "Come get me!" she screamed at it.....the next few moments were a blur of motion, she had shifted herself at the last second, the talons raked past her, missing my a hair. Karliah stabbed twin daggers deep into the creatures chest, using its forward momentum to slice clean through the torso, spilling its guts.
She was now falling, she knew her time ha-- she slammed into a soft, leathery object. Needlefang shrieked as the force of the impact nearly broke its back. Slowly Needlefang made its way down, landing hard on the ground in front of the others...exhausted and beaten.
Karliah was breathing hard, she had cracked a few ribs when she landed on her mount. She reached out a steady hand and ran it along the side of Needlefang's scarred face and neck.
"You did good boy."

The massive golems had come to life, but just as Elric was going to mutter the prayer for strength the one in black robes told them to stand down and let him handle it. He shook his head, Exoba was far to confident in his own abilities. He wouldn't care if he got beat down a bit because of his cockiness. So he kneeled down into the dirt, but rested his hands on his knee just incase he needed to quickly draw his weapon to save the foolish man.
Exoba's plan didn't work at first and Elric reached slowly for his weapons as the golems got closer. But then the voice sounded from nowhere and he felt ice clutch at his heart only for it to melt away as quickly as it came. He wouldn't let fear take him. He didn't take well to being called a slave either, especially a slave to this spoiled brat.

Vokun-Dovah stood before his kills breathing heavily. Blood dripped from his blades & armor. 'It's been quite sometime since i've fought…tiring'. He thought. taking a look back at the Archers it appeared that they all lived. 'Quite the shield'. Vokun-Dovah approached one of them. "Are you & your men unharmed"? "Yes…i think so". The man replied. "The stories are true then". Vokun-Dovah cocked his head. "You're one of the heroes of Lebrinth". "I am". "Wheres the Knight & the shadow man"? The archer asked. Vokun-Dovah thought for a minute. "They're assisting elsewhere *see's Karliah land* if you would excuse me". He said as he jogs towards Karliah. "Your beast has been beaten thoroughly..im surprised it still stands". "Are you unharmed"?
"Im fine & Needlefangs fine aswell he just needs some time to rest". Karliah replied. "It was a hell of a battle". "Indeed, we should go see how Neroth is doing.".

"I am not unwell", the aforementioned Neroth stated as he too was checking on Karliah and her pet. A quick glance confirmed the elf's assertion; the beast only needed good rest. "It brings joy to me that we were able to aid these soldiers from the beasts. Shall we return these men and inform their leader that their path is safe?"

Princess Karliah of Lebrith:
"You to go ahead," she said as she stroked the back of Needlefang's neck."I will gather some herbs and heal my mounts wounds, we will catch up with you as soon as he is ready to fly."
