Oh the long list of names at the end of the quote is all different names for the same entity. The mooks from my Fantasy would get slaughtered by the robotic infantry from my Sci-Fi, UNIT06 (the sci-fi MC) is probably stronger than beginning!Kat so they're kinda matched in parts, it's just that the big fishes from the former are bigger than the latter's.

The thing about Fantasyverses to me, is that they generally have uber powerful deity beings, so in that sense they're more powerful than sci-fi-verses who generally have more powerful races as a whole, and maybe a few god-like races.
But that was an interesting passage ^^ thanks for sharing.

Fair point regardless, although in the case of Dr. Who and Tenchi Muyo, their Uber-Powerful Races are what they got in Spades to cite named examples. Super Robot Wars has A lot of Powerful things to list out, and except for the Original Generation timelines, most of them are gathered from various series, and various worlds. Name a Giant Robot show you watched(Other than Transformers that is), odds are good they'd probably have it already if they're not working on that. @blair I wonder how UNIT06 might fare against any of the people from the Crysis universe sometime, to be honest. Also you got more on what Early!Kat is like?

Well I played Crysis 1 and 2 and I read 2's novelization. In the opposite of that order actually. UNIT06 is a lot stronger than a nanosuit wearer. It's a normal size human with a layer of carbon nanotubes muscles on top vs an 8 feet tall trans/post-human whose entire musculature is made from a several times better femto engineered variant of nanofibers. And that's out of armor.
Early!Kat is near enough to peak fitness for her race, which puts her some margin above peak human. Since she can't cast spells she pretty dam good in CQC. As her species' specialty she can infuse her body with magic but instead of elemental infusion she figured out a way to do it with raw mana, which makes her a lightning bruiser, but since this would be rather inefficient she usually only augments herself in short bursts of a specific trait. For exemple boosting durability to tank an attack, then boosting speed to blitz the enemy and then boost strength just for the time it takes to hit. But she still goes full on against really strong opponents. Like when the party 1st encounters Uzza (not that it helped). She has 2 swords than she can infuse with elements, which is pretty dangerous since the amount of heat or the power of the current is dependent on the amount of mana she uses. She also has various components strapped to herself that she can assemble into various melee or ranged weapons, most notably a kind of semi automatic potato gun for her mana grenades, a flamethrower that can shift between stream and fireball modes, a BFS with a chainsword mod, a hammer that can change into a battleaxe mid-combat, a grapple hook, a flail and if given enough time to mount it, a railgun. It's also important to note she is uber smart, largely unpredictable due to eccentricity and that her mana reserves are utterly gigantic and colossal.

I don't even know how many Halo Spartans is UNIT06 worth, or even Metroid Space Pirates either. ' That sounds disturbingly close to a Gender-flipped Terror of Death there, don't tell me you studied or heard about Bayonetta as well. o___O' YIKES, even Early!Kat may as well have Hammerspace with all that! Meantime, I have been trying to study how many ounces are worth a Diamond, and the average number of Diamonds to a Pound(an Ib as they call it), and while I'm not trying to recall anything on Department 19 weaponry*, I am trying to gauge how many Diamonds together would be worth 745 Kgs. My math isn't all that bright. 1.) (Most of which, as far as I know, ain't touching on the armory you list out at least as far as numbers are concerned, the Fantasy-verse has Department 19 Outgunned in too many ways to count!)

All of Kat's equipment is in parts and strapped to her. And in a backpack too. And she doesn't have say, a fuel tank for the flamer, since it's powered with mana. Honestly full on Lightning Bruiser Kat is the most dangerous because the only limits to infusion is mana reserves so she can boost herself *very* high.
And I'm pretty sure a single successful ARES subject (the program that made UNIT06) could take all Halo Spartans on their own. Probably even without their armor.

I just wanted to point out that the abbr. for Pound is LB, more commonly expressed in the lower case lb. (Sorry, it just irked me is all xD)
I keep seeing characters you mention and mentally going "pfft, my x char can beat that ;P". Then I remind myself I should stop being silly and jelly xD

The Knights of the Cross don't have magic armor or anything just swords with nails of the cross in them and channel the power of an archangel (a different angel for each sword). Each blade represents a powerful emotion, Faith, Hope, and Love. The blades are also famous mythical blades Fidelacchius the Sword of Faith is a cane sword katana, the famous sword Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi. Esperacchius the Sword of Hope is a cavalry sabre and the sword Durendal. And the greatest of these all is Amoracchius the Sword of Love, Excalibur, it only gets a new owner when the greatest of disasters is upon humanity, and it comes out with a vengeance when it does. The purpose of the Knights is to save the people in the Order of the Blackened Denarius who have picked up one of 30 pieces of silver inhabited by a Fallen Angel. These Fallen are the most powerful in Hell so powerful Satan saw them as a threat to his power and sealed them in the Silver Denarians (ten guesses who the coins belonged to) One of these coins is inhabited by Satans right hand Fallen Anduriel who is in a perfect partnership with his host an ancient human known by the name Nicodemus Archleone the guy's so badass that every so often he breaks into the Vatican to destroy the records of him so they can't remember who he really is uses his shadow to attack people, and we've never seen his Fallen's form in action. He's believed to have been alive in Rome around 2000 years ago and wears the Judas Noose the...well the rope Judas hung himself with which makes him invulnerable to damage from most anything but the Noose itself. He's a bonifide hero slayer (only two knights ever survived a one on one duel with him) and is somewhere between chaotic neutral and lawful evil. Back to the Knights themselves they have the power of showing up when most needed, the swords level the playing field against monsters by nullifying super powers and such of vampires, demons, Fallen Angels, Fae etc. and that's pretty much it. Also when on the clock God amps their chances of survival up a few notches.
okay that....was not the short summary I anticipated sorry.

Then I remind myself I should stop being silly and jelly xD I didn't exactly mean in regards to Cash, I just mean in terms of the Weight kind of Pound. Also where do you see which ones? From the Supernatural Dodgeball thread and other threads like it, or in this thread? Also perhaps in terms of destructive capabilities, but probably not in physical prowess save for the Uber-Hax ones. Moot point unless you go on gaia online though, probably. Also the Admiral explained on the Knights of the Cross recently.

Uh.. Cross.. lb is for the weight pound. £ denotes the monetary kind xD
I've been trying to figure out how to move most of this discussion to a new thread seeing as it's clogging up Mugi's Welcome page XD but sadly to no luck, it's slightly different to how the 'Topia works.

(Sorry Mugi for this clogging up, I'm working on a way to fix it ;P)
