Brunwulf
Brunwulf nodded, noting an almost imperceptible glint in Coris's eyes as he finished the meat he had chosen for himself. "Well, I'm turning in for the evening." He pointed to the few slabs of meat that were left, "feel free to help your your self Coris." He looked at the female huntress, I don't believe I know your name, lass."

Hjordis Stern-Front
She finished the hunk of meat on her stick and tore off another from the wolf carcass. "Hjordis", she replied as she began cooking the lupine meat.

Brunwulf
'Hjordis',he thought nodding, strong name,'like the woman who wears it.' Wordlessly he stood and snagged the wolf skin, laying the blade he borrowed from Hjordis down beside her. Moving a bit deeper into the cave he found a relatively flat spot to curl up and places his head on the rolled up pelt like a pillow, and closed his eyes.

Crius
Mentally chuckling as he was standing near a possible vampire hunter 'Ah reminds me of my time with Isran and his illustrious Dawnguard.' He chuckled mentally once more, before taking a position leaning on the side of the den's entrance. He had fed a forthnight ago, he could wait for blood.

Hjordis Stern-Front
She silently waited out the worst of the snowstorm and went on her way as started to subside and inklings of the first sun rays dimly lit the edge of the sky. After a few hours walk she reached White Run, making a short stop to sell what little ingredients were left in her rucksack at Arcadia's Cauldron and at the Bannered Mare where she asked about recent rumours. Then exiting the city she headed to the nearest woods where she looked for a hidden spot to shift before using her wolf form's superhuman speed to travel towards Solitude.

Solmundr
Even near the Cyrodiil border, the air still had that familiar cold sting to it that reminded him of home. Solmundr felt pleased to be back in Skyrim, his expedition to Morrowmind had been largely a waste and the weather was awful, particularly around the area where the Red mountain had erupted. However it seemed his fortune was changing for the better, at least for today he thought as he placed his head in his hands and swung his feet playfully from the tree he was sitting in while observing the field below. The screaming was dying down now, the Dwemer machines were finishing off the last of the Imperial patrol that had recklessly charged them without realizing the half dozen lightly armored automatons were just scouts in front of a sizable army. "Well that wasn't very entertaining," he sighed as he hopped down from the tree. Having killed the last stragglers, the machines regrouped and began moving towards Riften, an hours walk north. "At least you managed to kill a few of the thinner ones, eh? Props to you my dear Imperials! Haha." With the machines out of sight, Solmundr stalked towards the corpses. "Now I can finally get back to work, heh heh..."

Brunwulf
Brunwulf's eyes flickered behind closed lids. He was back on the steps of Ulfric's Palace. The bellowing roar of a dragon sends his ears ringing, the smell of burnt flesh and blood fill his senses, he watches a cold steel blade rip through his mother's breastplate. Its the same every night, the battle of Windhelm....the end of the civil war......something cold, wet, and tiny brushed across his forehead. Brunwulf cracked his eyes open ever so slightly. A small wolf pup with a pelt as white as fresh fallen snow was stealthily sniffing the pelt under his head. A pang of pity filled Brunwulf's heart, in away both were kindred spirits, both had had lost those they held dear....both were alone in this harsh world. Slowly he reached out for it , unsure of what he was trying to,prove. Tiny daggers sunk into his fingers, he gave a short yelp and jerked back fully awake. 'And apparently we both bite when cornered' he thought, and rose grabbing at the pup. It bolted deeper into the cave, Brunwulf gave chase, he wanted to it.....unlike him a pup that young wouldnt survive on its own. He heard footsteps following behind him, one of his companions he figured. Finally the chase ended, the pup hit the caves farthest point and squeezeed into a hole in the wall. "Damn!" Brunwulf cursed, catching his breath,"little bugger is quick." That's when he saw it, nordic carvings in the walls face covered on centuries of dust. He glanced over his shoulder and found Coris studying one of the carvings, "Ancient tombs that are hidden this well usually hold something valuable....and that little scamp is going to get stuck in there......you up for a little search and rescue....with some crypt robbing on the side?"

Crius
Crius couldn't agree more...ah memories of that 'dragonwhelp' in the beginning of their adventures together. Now that was good blackmail, chuckling humorously at old memories he turned towards Brunwulf. "But of course, come let's see if we'll come across anything worth while." With that he held open his palm as if awaiting for something when a small pillar of flames that was no longer than a finger erupted from his palm, lighting the area up to an extent. With that he progressed inward.

The Draugr in near unison snapped their attention to the entrance. An intruder in their holy place. From a coffin in the central room orders where issued. The Draugr move to intercept the intruders. A handful stay behind. A trio of warriors & two Dread lords. One stationed before the coffin, the other before the small statue.

Brunwulf
Coris approached the wall, brushing the dust free from an ancient carving, and rapped his hand around a lever and pulled. The wall shook, the ancient gears springing to life, and rose with a cloud of dust. Brunwulf breathed in the stale air and grimaced as the familiar sights reached him the two moved in. It was quiet, only the sound of shifting earth and the echo of distant traps could be heard. "Wish I had a blade right about now." He muttered as they reached the first of the corpses, men and women long dead laying silently in the holes cut into the walls. Coris stopped sharply and readied a second spell, moments later Brunwulf heard the gargling sounds behind them....the draugr had awakened.

Crius
Crius saw the draugr begin to stir and prepared in his other hand a conguration spell. Specifically a battle axe "Brunwulf catch." He tossed the conjured battle axe that was scaled to match the large nord. "Keep close by and I can maintain your weapon." With his now free hand he brought forth into the world two flame atronachs that prepared flame spells in their hands.

Brunwulf
The first thing he noticed was the lack of weight from such a large weapon; He had never used a bound weapon before and didn't quite know what to expect from it. He turned as the first of the draugr reached him, barely blocking the ancient blade with the glowing hilt of the magic axe. he thrust outword, slamming said hilt into the creatures teeth shattering what few it had as it stumbled back ward. With one chop he cleaved its head into; however, he could not hesitate, two more had set themselves upon him. An ancient, rusted great sword swung for his head and a smaller war axe for his chest. He ducked at the last second and attempted to twist out of the way, the war axe skimming his shoulder in the process. Blood trickled from the small gash as he spun and embedded his weapons blade into the side of the one with the great sword. He turned just as the second draugr reared back for another blow, Brunwulf yanked the bound axe free and caught the attack mid swing with its handle. He glanced Off to his right to see how Coris was fairing, the two flame atronachs were clearing out the thickest part of the group; a gout of frost errupted from the hand of one draugr causing the flame atronach to collapse, the other countered with a fire ball. Brunwulf focused back on the creature in front of him, back and fourth they went, the draugr blocking his blows with its shield, he parrying its axe with the handle of his own weapon. Finally he spun, putting all his strengths into one last blow. The glowing axe blade slammed down hard on the iron shield, he smiled as he heard the sound of snapping bone, the creatures arm gave out and the blade continued, nearly slicing the draugr in two. As it fell to the ground he looked around, nearly a dozen corpses littered the ancient stone floor, "Thanks for the axe, I guess we sho--" the sound of a sharp yelp from farther down the passage cut him off, "This way!" Brunwulf barked, they could loot the bodies later, right now that pup was in danger.

Brunwulf
As the two of them carefully made their way towards the chaotic sounds, side stepping pressure plates as they went, Brunwulf noticed how well maintained the ancient crypt was. 'Why would the Draugr care about-' a scream of pain cut off his thought....his own scream. He slammed himself back into cover, yanking Coris with him. He looked down cursing as blood oozed from around an arrow that had punched clean through his thigh with its ancient head sticking out the meat on one end. "Oblivion take that blasted archer," he spat as he glanced around the pillar but saw nothing, "can you draw him out Coris?"

Crius
Crius saw the wound on his current companion's person and deemed it at best a wound that some restoration magic could handle, a school he had neglected in studying beyond the basics. "One moment." As he calmly walked out from behind the pillar. He saw nothing than heard the release of an arrow. Than seconds later it pinged off his armor with the only indication of impact was a scratch. As he turned his head towards the right his eyes met with the draugr that was preparing another arrow at him. He raised his right hand and without a word released a bolt of fire that turned the draugr to ash before it could fire it's weapon once more.
Returning to Brunwulf without warning plucked the arrow from the larger man's thigh eliciting a slight grunt of pain. Though immediately with his other hand he wielded a healing spell and applied it to the damage area. "If you wish to have this wound mended, be silent as this school of magic is not my strong point. It'll take me a minute or two to fix this."
