Today we have two badass women who have mastery over powers of nature. Ororo Munroe aka Storm the mortal weather goddess of Africa, former Queen of Wakanda, the Mistress of the Storm who now leads the X-Men. And Korra, the Avatar master of all four Elements, princess of the Southern Water Tribe, leader of Team Avatar. This showdown will take place in New York circa the Roaring Twenties. Which mistress of the elements will win?

I think I'm going to pull for Storm in this, Korra is highly skilled, but Storm has more experience in my opinion

True but Korra also has a lot of power, she did stop a giant amped nuke laser by energy bending it.

My question is how well can Korra deal with some of the attacks storm can dish out. Storm has been known to summon flash floods, and can produce literal hurricanes.

flash floods would just be ammo for Korra, as would the hurricane, neither would really be of detriment, especially if Korra goes Avatar State. Plus Korra is a metal bender, and this is New York, 20's New York but New York nonetheless.

Hum, true. Storm will probably limit her self if the city is populated, so we wont be seeing anything big like that. Tell me, how much practice has Korra had at fighting people who can fly? Storm could just stay up high and rain down lighting strikes on Korra.

season 3 finale showed her fighting a flying Zaheer while in a bloodlusted Avatar State and having several pounds of Mercury in her veins.
other than that in addition to jet flight with fire bending she's shown air based flight similar to what Aang did, and the ability to boost into the air on water spouts. And as Bolin showed in the finale along with Lin and Su....Skyscrapers count as Earth...and Korra can do what they did with a skyscraper by herself if she has to. Or just rip chunks out of them to fling.

If Korra knew how to lightningbend, I'd probably give it to her. Provided this isn't PTSD'd Korra.

This is Korra as of when she was wrecking Kuvira's mech and finally showing bending on the same level if not greater than Aang

How fast is Storm nowadays then? I think endgame Korra has a pretty good chance of winning.

As far as I know she's subsonic in speed.

Ah. Well, as was mentioned, unless she's at least Zaheer speed, she'll start having trouble when Korra starts chucking shit at her. Or if she gets mad enough to fly up into the sky and try to give a beatdown there.

I'm not sure how fast would you say Zaheer was?

I'm one of the worst people you could ask about estimating that kind of thing.
But Zaheer/The Red Lotus have had some FP matches, so some people over there may well have calc'd him.

I don't think it ever got to the point he got calced most of the argument was about would they be able to dodge Roy's combustion Alchemy
