This is both a troubling but yet amazing development as the Katai tribes haven't been this close to unifying since the days of the short lived Katai Confederacy. However while it looks like a Katai lead coalition from afar there are rumors that there are foreigners among the Northern Tribal Coalition. The question is who is funding and leading the Northern Tribal Coalition."Freyjan Gazette"Rumors of the Northern Tribal Coalition has reached Freyja and citizens are worried. More so as Minister Lucia Aguilera, Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that the Northern Tribal Coalition could be a major threat towards Firedonia. However the Minister of the Ministry of Information Minister Vivian Huddleston states that the Katai threat is overstated and the rumors that foreigners are working with the Katai are false. Earlier this week his bloodthirsty fleet launched an unprovoked slaughter on the surprised Phracian fleet at Dontonia and sank them all, reportedly pulling out any survivors so that they could be fired at the city itself! And oh, his sister! When the Phracian fleet was destroyed his half-demon sister rampaged through the helpless city of Dontonia and ate everyone she found! By the end of the day she had burnt down the entire city and taken everything her victims had owned! Is there anything the other Phracian cities can do before the half-demon turns her hunger on them?!"The Tropic Chronicles"WAR!! Earlier this week, the sibling Grandmasters of the Order of the Piercing Gaze as well as the leaders of the Kotte and Renate families have declared war on slaver scum of the Phracian city-states, throwing their money and power behind the Confederacy of Zondonia who have already been in conflict with Phrace for some time. Shortly afterwards, total command for the Order forces in Phrace have been passed to Grandmaster Aera, making this the first time that the two have switched roles. And it would appear that this decision has been wise. The Kottes and Renates absolutely slaughtered over fifteen thousand Phracians at Taxiárchis Pass, using superior firepower, height, and plenty of explosives to crush the outdated Phracian army and take the pass, allowing the Zondonian armies at least one entryway into the soft heart of Phrace. It is said that the Kottes used a large balloon-shaped construct to deploy their special forces on top of the pass, a report that has been confirmed by many sources present. At sea, combined Order and Zondonian fleets launched a surprise attack on Dontonia to sink a large chunk of the Phracian fleet. With the element of surprise on their side as well as brand-new ship designs thought up between Grandmaster Aera and Fleet Commander Tyron, the Phracian fleet was utterly crushed with no losses to the Order fleet. The Zondonians suffered, however many of their sunken crewmen were able to be rescued. After the battle, Grandmaster Aera and the Zondonians docked their respective fleets and looted Dontonia in a surprisingly controlled way. Reports say that the Grandmaster had given her warriors a very stern talking-to before they'd landed, something about not being unprofessional lunatics and a bit about her fist plowing through their skulls. Its over the game called Football. Now depending on where you are from Football has another meaning and that is the problem. Terran Football is a bunch of people kicking a ball around and try and score it into a goal. Now Terran Football is the largest of the Football games as it is normally villages facing villages and the entire village will take part of the game. each team's goal is to kick the ball into the other village's center. Both teams have to kick the ball for miles until the first village to kick the ball into the other village's center or square wins the game. This version of football is also a contact sport and people can be seriously injured in these games. The Romanos have two versions. One version is played by Romano citizens and they kick the ball into the other team's goal to win. The other version is only played by slaves in the arena. Its pretty standard rules wise but they have weapons and the losing team has to fight the lions. The Libertans have a extremely different version of football called Football. They wear heavy pads and helmets and they throw and run with the ball in their hands. The ball is in a diamond shape or as some Romanos call it an egg. How do they mistake a diamond for an egg I have no idea. Its covered in pigskin and is a foot long hence the name "Foot" Ball. The players are allowed to tackle each other onto the ground. Also unlike other forms of football it seems this game relies on planning and tactics as each down stops the game and allows the teams to reform their ranks and they plan their next moves. Overall an interesting form of the sport. The Elves have a version where they carry the ball but can only throw it backwards and there are no pause to plan out your next move. Its fast pace and brutal. Though the oddest version is the Firedonian Version. For the most parts it seems like normal football but its far more brutal than the other versions. They are not allow to touch the ball with their hands but they are allowed to beat each other with sticks and there are no ties allowed in the game. As well as things that other football teams would do to get an edge in a game is outlawed. Like faking an injury for example I saw one player fall to the ground and held her knee. However a few minutes later the player recovered and acted like nothing happened. The Referee beat the player to an inch of her life with her heavier stick for faking an injury. Referees were allowed to beat players by Cassandra Royal Order 1,392 which was issued by Queen Cassandra to allow Referees to punish players they believe are ruining the spirit of the game. Overall regardless what version of Football you play just don't kill each other other it or hate your follow man. As well, while those ships can function as very good representatives of the Order's naval power neither class is a true capital-ish class ship. The Order was still keen on not designing the Man O Wars of other nations, and thus took inspiration from their other frigates to create the Murderhobo Great Frigate. It is easily double the size of both the Peacemaker and the Heartbreaker, and carries a good number more guns than both ships. It s somewhat less manueverable than its smaller cousins due to its size, but more sails and assigned wind mages help the Murderhobo keep a speed advantage over other capital ships. Thanks to inspiration from the smaller ships the Murderhobo has the long range destructive capabilities of the Heartbreaker and the closer-ranged slugging abilities of the Peacemaker. In place of Mortars it carries Earthshakers for some super bombardment fun times. It also has thicker "armor" than both ships, every free space not used for ammunition, storage, or minimum comfort level crew zones being thickened and reinforced. Sadly there are not many of those, the most being seen at a standard engagement being one or two...of course those who offend the Order could always have the misfortune to convince them to be more free with their coffers...
