Which furthers my hatred of humanity because everything stupid, mean or douchy they do squanders this amazing "gift" (not technically a gift because no one gave it but can't find a better word)

Im not to far off. I enjoy life for its randomness. The adventures & people one can meet. Though growing up everywhere has made me view thing on a bigger scale.

Meh. I don't think you become something else when you die. You're just dead, you don't exist anymore. What happens to the atoms of your body doesn't matter, it's not even the same atoms as when you were born

I didn't mean I became anything, but the atoms and particles that make up me will, energy moves on, atoms build other things. Until the heat death of the universe, when all goes out, cold and silent, eternally so.

The particles that make you change all the time, they're already becoming other things

That's what I said. Energy moves on. Our bodies change completely every 7 years. Cells die very fast.

I just don't see the point of valuing that, once they're not part of you they're just random particles, they don't matter anymore

I never said you had to value it. I'm saying it's a beautiful thought, and ties in, for me, the universe experiencing itself. For a small time, part of it was part of me experiencing itself, and then a billion years later, it's in the heart of a supernova.

I understand your viewpoint, I showed that on the other page. Was just expressing a meandering thought of my own.
