Today we have a showdown of the Treasure Hunters, Indiana Jones, Lara Croft and Nathan Drake will be up against each other in a head to head competition, all three were hired by an impossibly wealthy (makes Bill Gates look homeless wealthy) benefactor to collect a series of..dangerous artifacts for his amusement. Of course they are not the only ones who will be wanting said artifacts in some cases. They are not working together and can choose whether or not to leave the clues where the others can find them or to destroy them. It is entirely possible for one of them to die or be killed by one of the others in the course of the segments. The first segment of their challenge leads each to Egypt for two books and the key to the books. Of course these are no ordinary items. They have to collect the Book of the Dead from Hamunaptra, the puzzle box key from Karnak, and the Book of Amun Ra from the Pyramid at the center of the Oasis of Ahm Shere. They will be given at the start a clue to the location of Hamunaptra, which is a riddle written in ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics to be deciphered and solved. Also seeking the items will be the Cult from the second movie (the guys that wanted to resurrect Imhotep) At each location they will find a clue leading to the next one (the Hamunaptra clue to Karnak, the Karnak clue to Ahm Shere) at Ahm Shere they will find a clue leading to the next segment, in Europe starting with London, England. Whoever collects the most or all three will be the "winner" of the segment. The second segment they have to collect three artifacts of Death that are being hunted by MI6 (who will actively try and stop the treasure hunters) The first item in the London History Museum in London, England is the Ressurection Stone, the second the Elder Wand is across the channel in the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, Fance. The final item, the Invisiblity Cloak is in Vatican City, Vatican City in the Secret Vatican Archives the lowest levels in order to make things more difficult MI6 has told the Papal and Swiss guards that the three Treasure Hunters want to kill the Pope. Similar to before whoever gets each item first will get a clue, however unlike previously when the item is collected all three will receive a text message on a cell phone they were given at the start (which has infinite battery life but no wifi and can only receive calls and messages from the benefactor not send). Again the one who collects the most or all three is the winner of the segment, they cannot use the items for any purpose and the items will be immediately collected by a representative of the benefactor. Next they will be told where the next three items are, which is belonging to the heads of the Los Zeta's & the Sinaloa Cartel & a third cartel of equal power. The three items are the Three Rings given to the Elves in the Lord of the Rings This segment will be a straight up death race to see who can collect the rings first, once again they cannot use any abilities the items may grant. Next just to annoy the fuck out of them they are sent back to Africa on a Quest for King Solomon's Mines (specifically the version seen in the Librarian movies) They are all given an identical version of the first clue in the movie when the rings are collected by whoever gets them and told to find the mines and get the Key of Solomon out of them. The villains from the movie will be hunting the mines as well. Then after the Key is collected they must seek out the deadliest artifact, because no one is guarding or hunting this one, the only one who will try to stop them is the Artifact itself. Jumanji, the game has taken over a small town in the wilds of Australia and turned it into a Death Jungle, the game will actively send creatures plants and entities from within the game to kill the fuck out of anyone who enters the town. To win the match one of these Treasure Hunters must survive, find the game, and touch the green gem at the center of the board. Whoever does so will immediately win the segment. The winner of the match is the one who either survives the entire match, or who collects the most artifacts. Who wins? Who dies? Who is the greatest Treasure Hunter.

Im going to say that Indiana Jones and Lara Croft probably tie while Drake probably dies. I say this because I highly doubt that Drake has faced the kind of things the other two have faced and survived.
Indiana Jones (across all the movies, video games, and books) has faced and survived everything from dinosaurs and the lockness monster, zombies, all the way up to aliens, a nuke, and the wrath of god himself.
Lara Croft has faced just as much as Jones has, zombies, dinosaurs, ancient god like beings.
I just feel that they will be better prepared for the supernatural defenses that, lets face it, these artifacts will have guarding them. Despite the fact that they are working alone at the start, there is a high chance that Indi and Lara will team up, possibly even have a little romance subplot, they are ultimately using each other and it will probably be Lara who comes away with most of the artifacts while Jones's uncanny luck will allow him to escape with the rest.

@shadow Drake has faced supernatural shit too, El Dorado was a cursed sarcophagus that turned whoever opened it into mutated super soldier..things. In the second Game he faced nigh immortal juggernauts that had drank the sap of the tree of life, and later faced a heavily armed mercenary that had drank from the tree, in the third game he had enough of letting someone else fuck with the supernatural and stopped them before they unsealed the can containing the evil. He has luck that's capable of surpassing Jones and despite his appearance is likely equally knowledgeable in history. No one here is unused to the supernatural however.

Ohhhhhh, I think I was confusing him with another character. lol, my bad. I still stand by my top post that he will probably not make it, or at least come up empty handed, but he has a better chance now.

Drake wandered through the middle of the desert with no idea where he was and happened to come across the bad guys camp, over the course of days, and still survived the ensuing gunfight despite going days without food. Also being able to fight armed mercenaries while hopped up on hallucinogenic drugs. And surviving falling out of a plane period into the desert is pretty impressive. Plus he's a much faster learner than Indy, in four movies Indy never learned to not let the bad guy fuck with the phlebotenum, Drake learned that lesson by the time of Deception and when presented with a situation similar to the RPG aimed at the arc he took the shot stripping the villain of their victory and avoiding a wrath of supernatural entity situation. So if anything Drake's savvier in what to do when caught in a situation like that than Jones. And he survived encounters with Master Chief's wielding Gatling guns. And being shot, the train he's on crashing, climbing up the train in the middle of the Himilayas in a short sleeved shirt, survived trecking through the wreckage and fighting his way through, and managed to get found by the convenient village nearby (granted it's more believable than the fridge thing still lol) Still Drake is just as smart (he decrypts the stuff in games all the time, found the missing Marco Polo ships in an afternoon when a mercenary army had been looking for over a month, recognizes artifacts and their era on sight, figured out that Drake had lied about his voyages when Drake was 15, and more) the main difference is Jones went into teaching, Drake became a professional treasure hunter. He and Croft would go straight for stealing artifacts in the second segment for instance while Jones would likely try to go through proper channels first. That's going to be Jones biggest hurdle in some of the rounds is his somewhat..cleaner moral compass compared to the other two.

Whoever is in that last image isn't in this match lol (in other words this is pre reboot Lara) That said I'd give her and Drake equal chances for most of the challenge due to their youth, even if we take Raiders Indy he's still got a bit of age on him compared to them in addition to being a history professor and regular archaeologist most of the time compared to Lara and Nate being adventure archaeologists for a living who do crazy climbing up the side of temple shit for a living. Jones is going to have equal chance in some spots, but the trek across a large chunk of the African continent to find the mines is going to take a major toll on him. They won't have any allies or resources and will have to find their own ways to reach destinations easy in some places (just steal a boat or car in Europe and Mexico) but the continents of Africa and Australia themselves will be against the adventurers for the last two challenges. The biggest test, and one that will push them all tot he limit though is Jumanji the Eldritch Board Game. Random animal stampedes, weather control, death plants, and an indestructible hunter with an assault rifle, everything trying to kill you and no easy way to stop it.

I want to say that My nostalgia of old Indiana might be clouding my judgement a bit....but in the back of my mind I just keep picturing him winning due to his theme song kicking in at the last minute ,causing the tide of the match to turn in his favor.

Oh it's going to be a close match, I could see all of them surviving to make it to the last challenge, beaten, bloodied, tired, but determined to succeed, but will they be able to beat Jumanji is the biggest question.
