Robocop with his standard loadout vs MC with a Magnum, they battle in the Omicorp building. Master Chief has been sent in by the government to steal their robot plans, Robocop is sent in told to stop a rogue super soldier. MC starts at the Helicopter pad and Robocop starts on the ground floor. MC has been told to also capture Robocops dead cyborg body if possible for future military use and will not leave until he gets it and the plans. Robocop has been told to take MC down with extreme prejudice. Is MC out of reach of the long mechanical arm of the law? Or is MC going with Robocop dead or alive?

I haven't seen the new movie yet, but the trailer showed him with just a SMG and stun gun. Is that all he has with him? If so I don't see him taking down Chief's shield fast enough. Also heard this new Robocop isn't a tanker like the original. Guess I'll wait to see what reboot Robocops side is bringing.

SgCombinesaid SMG is a 50 caliber Beowulf weapon. Nothing short of a 50 cal can damage him, and he at one point dodged a bullet. He's also capable of running, large jumps, and rapid on the spot tactical analyses. Even with the right weapons to kill him he was tanking a shit ton of them with only minor damage.

So his SMG has the same stopping power + superior fire rate as Chiefs M6 pistol but without the High Explosive charge. Unfortunately for this Robocop, Chief shield takes multiple hits from 50mm autocannons to drop just half way. Unless Robocop has something with a bigger bite I just don't see him taking Chief's shield down fast enough. By the way, is Reboot-cop's chin bullet proof like the original?

SgCombineWell I forgot but his taser also has a pistol mode (I think with the same caliber need to double check) I don't think so, but unlike the old Robo he's not that easy to hit, as the squad of competent 2014 ED-209s found out - Plus he loves headshots as shown in his test run vs EM-208's which didn't have 50 cals in this test but it shows his accuracy and tactics. And..possibly bullet timing at the end there? Or possibly more aim dodging hard to tell.

Okay yeah just a variable tazer capable of shorting out the robots and later that guys exoskeleton. Don't know why everything would shut down though, maybe they had a kill switch set to that guys rifle or something *shrugs*

Or possibly more aim dodging hard to tell. He's definitely faster than the old one yes, but I didn't see anything in those videos to put him on MC's level (normal running speed about 60 km/h, top speed 107 km/h). At the end of the last video the guy shoots first and then the camera zooms in on Robocop moving out of the way to dodge those rounds. However there didn't seem to be any slo mo going on in that scene so if we assume it was real time then those bullets must have been sub sonic rounds or something since Robocop moved his head way too slowly after they were fired to actually dodge most regular bullets. At least that's how it seems to me. 14 year old John not long after his augs trying out the Mark IV power armor.

I don't know how well running speed will help in a large office building. One that Robocop can camera hack in to see where MC is. Master Chief is stronger but can he take advantage of it.

What about H2H? How would Robocop fair there. You didn't see him do much in the movie.

Without a layout of the building I don't think Chief can really do about the cameras. However I don't think it'll really matter since Robocop can't kill Chief with his current load out. He just can't take down Chief's shields before he runs out of ammo and Chief's shields constantly regenerate in less than 10 seconds.

Ok, here's my question. GA, you mentioned that that stun gun fucked with the combat-bots and some dudes exoskeleton. If it can screw with tech like that then couldn't it mess with MC's shields? Maybe not drop them, but weaken/drain them perhaps?

Imo the chief would probably win, he's most likely comfortably stronger, going by what SgCombine said he's faster as well, his armor is roughly the same material but likely more refined and much thicker
