I thought a T-850 is actually much stronger than MC, due to this : (at ~1:28) True, I had forgotten about that scene, so their strength is closer than I thought.

That's not close imo. An average bank vault door weights about 7 tons, that bunker blast hatch is several times wider and higher, and probably about twice as thick, and it was being hydraulically forced shut. The Terminator held it open, that's really damn strong, though admittedly wildly inconsistent with it's other showings.

well the T-850 was supposed to be quite a bit stronger than the T-800 which is the only reason it had as good a chance against the T-X as it did (and by that I mean the 4% chance of victory it calculated not the plot device victory) granted a decent chunk of this is because it's a plasma hardened Terminator meaning it has some resistance to the T-X primary weapon but it also means it has at least some capability to match the T-X physically, which is described as being stronger than a hydraulic press, but in extended battle the T-X could have destroyed a T-850 with little effort more than likely...which is also why I picked the T-850 and not the T-X I wanted at least one combatant besides the Termi to have a chance of winning if not all of them to have a chance.

I'd presume T-3!terminator was more powerful than T-1!terminator ya, in T-1 it got crushed by an hydraulic press but in T-3 it was able to hold a huge blast hatch open (which is is heavier if anything), even with one arm and at the end when it's using both arms to kill the T-X the hatch stays open just from it's body being in the way.

question is how much stronger. and then how much stronger than MC would that make it?

Master chief did survive a fall from orbit...twice.

The highest calcs I've seen for MC (outside of 50+ tons wank) is about 4-5 tons with armor on. That would make a T-850 vastly stronger.

Master chief did survive a fall from orbit...twice. To be fair, so did Nobel 6. I don't know how bit a gap between him and Chief is though.

I remember there being a reason that the orbit thing was very unimpressive but I can't quite remember what it was.

Noble Six had an re-entry pack. Chief Didn't. He just fell.

The second time, he got hit with a very large piece of the Dawn before falling to the surface of Requiem.

His armor locked up to prevent being mangled or something, and there's some sort of kinetic absorbing gel in a layer of the armor. Also nigh-unbreakable bones.
