yea, but remember that there are only a hand full of jedi here, most of them padawans, and I highly doubt a jedi would willingly start setting of hydrogen bombs on an active battle field. Those would take out several clones and potentially themselves. Jedi during wartime also don't seem to bright, even Masters seemed to prefer charging at the droids with lightsabers draw when they could have easily used the force to wipe the floor with them. Makes for better movies. Don't the T's use ballistic weapons as well? Yea, though they were mostly phased out when plasma weapons were made. The main ballistic weapon used by ground units was a .50-caliber minigun capable of firing 3000 depleted uranium rounds per minute, They also had an extensive library on every man made fire arm and can use them with out effort. Basically if one lost its plasma rifle, it is preferment in every other fire arm in existence that it makes little difference in performance. As for this match, however, they all are armed with plasma tech and have the Ballistics as back up.

Anyway, I feel that Skynet has a slight chance of winning, Especially with its larger units like the Harvesters. The thing that will give them the most trouble will be the Jedi, but they are so few of them and out of those few, half of them are just learners. Also, unlike battle droids, the terminators can take a hell of a beating physically, chances are a should a Jedi throw one with the force its going to stand back up and keep coming. Lightsaber slices to the body are going to be a very bad idea because of where the fuel cells are located and would result in a lot of collateral damage and a dead Jedi. T-888s or Trip-Eights are going to be a nightmare, those things make 850s look like B1 battle droids. Trip-Eights are three times faster, stronger, smarter, and more durable then the T-850s. They learn far faster than other terminator units and are capable of making plans, and critical thinking. They can function with out a head, using a remote up link to control their bodies until the head is reattached.

Have the Termies ever shown resistance to EMP's because I know the Clones got in the habit of lots of ion and EMP weaponry.

If I remember right every model from the T-800 up had its electronics hardened against EMP weapons. EMP grenades and the like were used by the resistance early on against skynet, and extremely effective against the 600 models.

true but this is Star Wars tech we're talking about...so there is that.

And the Ion weapons?

That's a different story. No, they would have no resistance to Ion weaponry; however, to my knowledge the Clone troopers didn't use Ion weapons. Did they?

OH also starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Reverse-polarity_pulse_grenade reverse polarity pulse grenades all Clone blasters had an ionization aspect to increase effectiveness against droids...so all their blasters are 50 percent normal blaster 50 percent ion blaster in a manner of speaking

Hummmm, out of the 2,000 ARCs, 150 of them are Alpha Class. No Nuls, not only because there are less than ten total, but because they are main characters in the books, and I am trying to avoid having to deal with Main Character plot shielding. Anyway, yea, I was just about to post about the only EMP/Ion weapons I saw were grenades, and I believe Clones carried up to three grenades total. So, a Terminator could possibly survive the EMPs but would get fucked up by the ION.

Now, blaster wise that means that they will be biting into the Terminator forces just a little bit harder than before. Still, the Skynet Plasma Rifles can blow you to smoldering bits, so I guess that makes the primary weapons roughly even?

Hmmm interesting the DC-15 rifles were capable of heavy armor piercing...and the ARC WESTAR-M5 could penetrate an AAT tank with it's bolts let alone the missile launchers.

Well, in the AAT's Defense, the armor is meant to stop blaster shots from coming in form the out side, not going out form the in side.
