General, I'll be short. Due to the sensitive nature of Project Mythos I'm requesting that all data and materials be transferred to Blacksite: Omega for storage. I understand a unanimous vote by the security council is needed to relocate anything classified under Ragnarok. But FOB Olympus is no longer secure enough for the subjects.

Durge, what exactly do you mean by no longer secure. FOB Olympus is the most secure facility in the Sol system.

Sir, while subjects V-IV are somewhat complacent….Subjects I-!V have grown destructive. Im forwarding a report from Dr. Irons.

Subject: Mythos
Subject I: Testing has revealed an innate ability to the teleport. In essence, the subject engulfs himself with what the guards are calling shadows. Once subject has fully engulfed himself he may move nearly anywhere he wishes. We believe this is how he managed to take the Phoenix bomb into the alien ship. Records show he was the groups leader, we have confirmed this by observing how the others interact with him.
Subject II: We have discovered that the subject has the dual abilities of invisibility and semi intangibility. From what we have gathered, He was known to be a stealth and hand to hand expert. We believe he was involved in the raid of Red Castle. No casualties save the target, protected by 57 levels of security.
Subject III: This subject….can only be described as a beast. He is far larger and taller than the others. (The average height for them is in the 6' foot range.) He has a massive reserve of stamina strength at his disposal. Experiments showed that when the Subject uses a sort of battle cry, he becomes impossibly powerful. Able to Engage in combat for an outstanding amount of time. This subject is most likely the one who leveled the captured city of Los Angeles.
Subject IV: This one…to be frank is an enigma. While he may appear to be weak and malnourished, he is just as powerful as the others. He seems to be able to sustain injuries that would most likely kill the others. The guards have reported strange things happening around him though. One notable occurrence happened after a rather extreme test. The subject was shot approx. 47 times with 50. caliber rounds, assuming he was dead a couple of guards dragged him to the incinerator. Several hours later, we sent a team after the guards. They found the subject sitting before the charred bodies of the guards, He was uninjured and still restrained.
Subject V: Subject is docile enough. He is the only one to communicate during testing. He is somewhat younger than the others. All he seems capable of is superhuman speed. We believe him to be the weakest but the other subjects seem to treat him with a certain amount of reverence. Like knights to a king.
Subject VI: He is somewhat similar to a monk in behavior. He shows to be able to control, for lack of a better term, the elements. When cold he will create fire, when thirsty he will crack open the bottom of his cell and pull up water. He has created multiple storm in the area as well. Subject may have used his abilities to sink Australia when the aliens invaded it.
Furthermore we have discovered their bodies have been enhanced to that of a superhuman down to the cellular level. We have not been able to study their weapons due to them having been locked up in Hephaestus.
Lt. Durge we have have a problem. Recently Subjects I-IV have begun showing signs of regaining fragments of their former selves. They have been testing the boundaries of the installation and have destroyed portions of the installation during their tests. If subjects fully Recover their memories we all could be in mortal danger. Im requesting that we transfer them to Blacksite: Omega before it's too late. End transmission.
The Fall of Blacksite: Omega
"The ship has landed". The one known as Subject I said as he looked around the pitch black cargo hold. He could see five pairs of eyes meeting his. The doctors had put them into separate containment units, each one was built with each specific subject in mind, they were numbered I-VI. "We should do it now". Subject III said. "As soon as they open the cells". Subject VI shook his head in disagreement. "If we did we'd be stuck in vacuum". The others looked at him with an air of confusion. "What"? Subject V said. "Think about it" Subject VI replied. "When we were loaded onto the ship, there was a hard stop about fifteen minutes after take-off. "We were most likely stopping at a security station". Subject II Nodded. "If we try to escape now, they'll just jettison us". Subject V rapped his knuckles on the wall. "And we have to assume they'd be prepared for us making an escape attempt". He said. Subject I leaned back in his cell. "Then we wait".
The Subjects sat silently in darkness for awhile. The cargo holds door opened, allowing the bright light of a sun to engulf the hold. A man entered the hold. "Alright, rise and shine"! He said. The subjects studied him quickly. The man was in his mid-thirties, average height, slightly built, put more pressure on his left side than his right, possibly due to an injury. "I am Lieutenant Durge". He began. "This base is far away from any life and the planet is a dead wasteland, so don't get any cute ideas"."You will be here for the remainder of your testing". The Lt. turned toward an control panel on his left. He typed in a series of passwords which opened the containment units. "Now file out and follow the instructions given to you". The subjects quietly filed past the Lt., As they exited the hold they began scanning the area around them. They were in the middle of a desert. Looking up, they found that this system had Binary stars. They made their way towards a pair of soldiers standing before a truck. "Get in". One of them said. The subjects looked at each other, then did as they were told. As soon as truck started, it plummeted into the planet. Subject VI made a remark to the group. "The base appears to be underground…Very deep".
Several minutes passed before the truck stopped falling. A soldier approached the back the vehicle. "Get out and follow the Doc". The subjects exited the truck and walked in formation behind Subject I. They nearly knocked each other down when Subject I stopped suddenly. "What is it I"? Subject II asked. Subject I had caught sight of the doctor. "She's…familiar". He said. The doctor was average in height. She dressed very professionally, but her looks and the scar running from her temple to the opposite side of her chin gave her a dangerous beauty. She looked to be in better shape than the soldiers. Subject I's mind railed against itself for not remembering who she is. The Doctor walked in their direction, stopping a few paces in front of them. She looked Subject I in the eyes. "Do you who you are"? she asked. "No". Subject I replied. There was a pained look in the doctors eyes. "What would you like to be called"? "Call us by our numbers". The doctor sighed while she nodded. "Okay then." She said while handing them blindfolds. "I'm Dr. King". "I run the day to day operations here, please put these on and follow me". "How can we follow without sight"? Subject III asked. "I know your senses are highly enhanced". Dr. King replied. "You could hear my heart beat during an artillery bombardment". Subject I got a chill down his spine as he tied his blindfold. 'Why does it feel like I've done that'? He thought. After making sure the blindfolds where on, Dr. King began to walk. Subject I turned his head. "V, take point". "On it I." Subject V acknowledged.
They followed Dr. King for awhile until she told them to stop. "You may remove your blindfolds." She said. While the subjects removed them, she continued. "Behind these doors will be your quarter's". "If you would plea-". "Cells". Subject III said. Dr. King was a bit startled by the interruption. "E-excuse me"? "You mean cells". Subject II said. "Or Containment Units". Subject I added as he stepped close enough to the doctor to warrant the guards raising their weapons. "There's no need to make things sound better than they are". Dr. King regained her composure, looked Subject one in the eye and told the guards to stand down. "Fine, Call them what you like, now would you please…" She said as she gestured towards the doors. Subject I nodded and walked though the doors with the others in tow. They were surprised to see that the area was quite spacious, the total opposite of the previous installation. A voice came over the intercom. "Please enter the rooms marked by your number". The subjects did so. "You will be woken up in the morning". Each rooms metal door shut and locked itself. "Lights out".
Ch. 2
Subject I awoke to the sound of his door opening. 'hmm, i wonder if it's on a schedule or is someone doing it…' He thought as he walked out. The other's were hanging around a corner of the containment area. "i wonder what there going to do to us". Subject II said. "Maybe the-". The sound of the main door opening cut Subject V's words short. Dr. King walked toward them, she was holding blindfolds. Subject I noted how she confidently walked toward a group of men that could kill her ten times over. 'She could be former military' He thought. 'It would explain the scar'. Dr. King handed the group their blindfolds. "Please follow me". She said. As they put the blindfolds on, Subject IV started softly clicking his tongue, about every ten seconds. Subject V took point as they walked, he was trying to get information from the doctor. "So is the planet really dead"? He asked. "In a sense." Dr. King replied. "The planet is a desert type, it has an ecosystem but the brutal conditions here have created some terrifying beasts." "Is that why we're underground"? Subject II added. The doctor was quiet for several seconds. "It's to keep from prying eyes." She said finally. "You may remove the blindfolds now". Subject I Looked around. She had brought them to what looked like an empty garage with several doors . "Today we will be studying how you respond to a hostile situation". Dr. King continued. "Please enter the door corresponding with your number". Each subject approached their door, looked at one another, then entered. Subject I looked around. The room was dark and empty, about the size of a closet. 'What the fu-'. The room rapidly started going down.
After the subjects entered their doors, Dr. King walked toward a steel one at the end of the room. She keyed the intercom. "C.J , open the door". The intercom beeped and the door opened. "Have any coffee"? Dr. King asked as she entered. One of the chair's turned to face her. C.J pointed the wall and sighed. "We used to". She said. "Till one the soldier guy's busted it". "Great". Dr. King said with a hint of annoyance as she sat next to the technician. "So these are Olympus' famed subjects huh"? C.J said. "Word got around fast". Dr. King replied as she looked at the various screens. The subjects were still in their elevators. "So where exactly are they going"? Dr. King asked. "Well" C.J started. "The leader guy is going to the bottom level to fight two bioraptor's, Mr. white hair is going to sub-level B to fight a pack of saber-lupines, the big guy is going to the scrapyard to fight 20 of the biggest and toughest death-row prisoners, The pale boney one is going to the morgue to fight a….necro-simian…gross, the black guy is going to the surface to fight five lions that were imported this morning and the asian guy is going to the surface to fight a desert tiger". Dr. King stared at the technician. "Why would you call them that"? "I don't know their names." C.J replied. "Call them Subjects I-VI…in the order you gave me". Dr. King said. "Now put Subject I on the screen, he should be at the bottom by now".
*Ding* "Bottom floor reached". A computerized voice said. The door opened to reveal pitch black darkness. Subject I stepped out and began scanning the area. 'Why is there no light down here'? He thought. 'Don't they know i can see in the dark'? 'No…the darkness isn't to hinder me…it's for whatever's down here'. A series of hiss's followed by a strange whooping sound caught his attention. As he turned toward the source of the sound something large hit him. "Aaargh"! Subject I landed on his back hard. He put one hand around it's throat and used the other to force it's lower jaw up. It was large, nearly as large as he was. It's head was like a hammerhead sharks, except it didn't have any eye's and it's mouth extend forward like an axe blade. Subject I's gripped slipped for a second, allowing the beast to reveal it's teeth. They were long and sharp. Subject I growled back at the beast. His body started to fade into the darkness. "Not today"! He shouted as he vanished.
