Impressive, how well is he at blocking/dealing with ranged attacks. I ask this because H-G is also an expert with guns.

I'll have to go keep looking in the meantime, even in The Animation alone he might have had run-ins with dealing with Projectiles if I'm not mistaken. Since the earliest 4 episodes in fact, but I may have to re-watch the series to recall particular instances. Just know that Lloyd's Foe Quality is consistently top-notch.* 1.) (Or at least as far as the Kick-@$$ universe is concerned, anyway!)

It's hard to find, someone on the roughly same skill level that won't kick her ass (wink) by sheer speed and strength due to being an adult.

It's hard to find, someone on the roughly same skill level that won't kick her ass (wink) by sheer speed and strength due to being an adult. Lloyd Irving in the first Tales of Symphonia game(and his debut game period) is still in his Teen years, not too different from some Fire Emblem Lead main units like Celice, his cousin Leaf(from Genealogy of the Holy War and its related game, Thracia 776), Roy(From Sword of Seals) or even Ike(From Path of Radiance and its sequel) for that matter in some respects. Funny enough I could imagine Lloyd and Celice being buddies in a pub, but that's an issue for another time. What's not so much an issue for a later date, that we gotta deal with ASAP, is trying to recall more on Lloyd's capabilities in combat. I can do another thread for Tales of Symphonia or Tales games in general elsewhere, but at the moment I'm trying to recall more showings of Lloyd, particularly in dealing with enemy projectiles with how well he can dodge or block them. In a way, Lloyd Irving's kind of like Ed Single D or Eddy from Ed Edd N Eddy, in that he's tougher than he looks but he's generally not the sharpest tool in the intellectual shed among his peers/comrades-at-arms. That'd be more Edd Double D's* or Genus(the Genius) Sage's sort of thing respectively. Speaking of Ed Edd N Eddy, what about Rolf? 1.) (Double D for the 3 Eds, Genus for Lloyd's gang among the Party in ToS between him, Lloyd and Collette/Colette Brunel, pretty much!Though funny enough Colette/Collete is kind of like Nazz in terms of looks, personality-wise is iffy though.)

I kinda see Fire Emblem characters as charles atlas superpowered one wo/man armies, but nvm. They actually qualify as that, Ike can even be viewed as a spiritual successor to an Ogre Battle Lord in at least some respects. Though that's a matter for another time, right now we're working to find a worthy opponent for Hit-girl to debut against, not to hear how Ed Edd N Eddy drew me in on Tales of Symphonia actually.

It's a boss from SR2, he doesn't fight that well but he has voodoo powers and he's a bitch to kill, took like 20 bullets nigh-point blank to the chest to finish him off in the cutscene after the fight with him. And Boss decapitates him with a machete to make sure.
