Oh yes, it's back, the crazy adventure of the Infinity and her crew isn't ending anytime soon. In fact, there's going to be a total of at least 18 issues, the most current is #15, with #16 coming out at the end of this month. Since I already did the first 3 issues, I'm going to start with #4 here. Issues #1-3 are linked below. TL;DR version for the

Quick Recap
Lord Hood, Arbiter, and Chieftain Lydus want to make a peace treaty between their three respective races. They meet on a neutral planet with minimal security forces. The meeting gets interrupted by a large group of mercenaries posing as M'dama's troops. Captain Lasky and a small group of Spartan IV's manage to protect the ambassadors, for the most part.
ISSUE #4
Date: March 8, 2558
Location: In-transit from Ealen IV
So we start onboard the Infinity and oh fuck... First page and Lasky is already undergoing some bizarre transformation. His face is contorted with pain from the efforts of shapeshifting into a different look every panel.
"All hands on deck! Brace for impact! The Captain is taking an explosive shit."
Meanwhile, the Infinity is under attack by an unknown freighter. The freighter is launching Vultures and Sparrowhawks at them. You know, those Halo Wars vehicles no one thought were canon, well they're back and space capable. One of the bridge crew say's the Freighter is going to self-destruct. Apparently an outdated Freighter exploding in space is threat to the Infinity. Is retreating to a safe distance from an immobile ship a foreign concept to the crew? Anyway, the next page is shows us our heroes, Power Rangers! Er, I mean "Spartans."
"You have truly gone far beyond the call of duty, Spartans."
If you're as lost as I am right about now, don't worry, because we're going back 74 hours prior to the shenanigans of page 1 & 2. Lord Hood is still onboard and talking to Captain Lasky. Lasky believes the traitor is a high ranking individual and the best way to catch him is to get info from an old friend. Hood doesn't seem to like this "friend" of Lasky's, but Lasky insists he trust him on this. Spartan Ray enters the room and asks what the mission is. Lasky says he'll tell her when they're planetside. Elsewhere, in a full gray room, Madsen punches the fuck out of Thorne. Seriously, he knocks him across the room. Surprisingly, Thorne takes it like a champ, getting up with nothing more then a bloody lip. Madsen is pretty pissed off about his buddy DeMarco dying. Thorne face changes into Commander Shepard and tells Madsen that he'd have stood with DeMarco if he was there. This effectively calms Madsen down.
"We'll bang, ok?"
On the bridge, Lord Hood gets bored and decides to take the Infinity out for a spin. Roland is giddy as a motherfucker. Just as they're about to head about though, they recieve a distress call *Who could it be?* and head for the origin of the signal.
Castiglione, Capital of Escala III
Two days later, on the most boring looking sci fi city in the outer colonies: Lasky and Ray are walking down the street when Lasky realizes he has no fucking clue what Spartan Ray's first name is. Ray tells him it's Naiya. While all this is happening, some crazy lady is climbing down the fire escape ladder like a mountain climber. She waves at Lasky while Lasky facepalms. Later at an outdoor restaurant, Janecek is telling Lasky and Ray boring tales of how awesome a journalist she is. Lasky asks Ray to leave because they're about to talk about secret stuff that could get her in trouble.
"Hey Tom, remember me? I'm your 47th ex"
Back on the Infinity, they find the old freighter ship with faint life signs and leaking atmosphere. They decide the best course of action is to bring the damaged, unknown ship onboard. Wow, just wow. Cut to Thorne laying in his bunk with a future iPad. Judging by the satisfied look on his face I'd say he's either on Pornhub or Lolcatz. The alarm for first responders sounds and Thorne immediately gets suited up. Another Super Sentai pose later, he and his fellow Spartan IVs are breaching the cargo ship while dog fights rage on in the background. Some douche bag purposely steps on a solid red laser, activating an automated machine-gun turret. Madsen reks the turret with a slap from his sniper rifle. The enemy fighters retreat and Hood orders them to get the freighter out of the cargo bay. The back of the freighter explodes while the Spartans with missing lineart hang out in the front section waiting for pick up. Once more we jump back to Lasky and journalist Janecek discussing the security breach. Janecek tells Lasky in return for info on whose behind the security breach, she wants a 1 on 1 with the Master Chief. Uh oh, fangirl alert. It seems she was the one that originally did the story on Chief and made him famous to the public. The issue ends with some techs telling Hood about the freighter that attacked them. Apparently it came from the Spirit of Fire and Hood knows all about it, interesting.
Observations
- Almost no Palmer this issue, rejoice!
- Hood and Lasky look like Dr. Evil and Captain Kirk
- The multi-barrel turret from Halo Wars is alot smaller than I thought.
- The art is getting more inconsistent.

ISSUE #5 Coming eventually.
