Probably somewhere between 1 + 2 sort of makes sense, and if either get promoted-to-parent then I might be interested, perhaps.

Well if your Warden is male you may have done the ritual personally and be the dad of a reincarnated Old God of Tevinter (which might just be a dragon for all we know).

My Wardens just stomped all over the damn thing like they did with everything else. Btw, I remembered, Bioware partially resolved the "Warden-Commander & Hawke missing from the world war" thing already, they're both said to have "mysteriously vanished" in the end scene of DA2. But David Gaider (the lead writer) also said this disappearance is a plot-point, not a closure, so that means *something* involving them will happen. So I have a question for anyone who has an opinion about that : If your Warden and/or your Hawke is to be involved in any way with events from DA3, how would you like it handled ? I think they should either : 1-> Let us control everything about them. Looks, class, weapons/gear, personality, actions...For the parts they appear. 2-> Have them be actively involved in the world but don't show them directly, only aftermaths of their actions. To use my characters for exemples, a ruthless/violent female mage Hawke who's coupled with Anders and promised him she would see all Templars dead, you could come across a small group of mages surrounded by scores of mangled templar corpses and they'd say Hawke did that. Or you could enter a village strewn with dead darkspawn with one arrow in each and the villagers tell you an elven archer did it and they think it was Mahariel (the dalish warden's surname) or you could venture carefully into an area supposed to be inhabited by dragons but all those you see are dead and someone in your party, like say, Warden!Cullen or Warden!Bethany, say that has to be "the Commander" since "no one else could do that" or something. 3-> have them not return from being "vanished" and be completely absent in Inquisition but eventually address them in another sequel or whatever. 4-> have them not appear in-game but still say they're doing something to help the world, like holding back hordes of "beyond the fade" monstrosities or stuff like that. My Grey Warden Died valiantly saving the world. Fuck yea! But when I replay them, I'll have a char that doesn't, and I'd like it to at least look similar. Maybe have them mentioned like in option 1 and 4. Maybe scenes of them holding back the horde. Or, if like the case of my dead warden, a massive statue of them and stuff, maybe a castle named after them.

Still, I'm so pumped about playing a Qunari gal !! More likely Tal-Vashot though, but ya know, ~7 feet tall, grey skin, shiny eyes, pointy ears, horns, epic muscle tone...a behemoth of smexy badassery. Hopefully with a fitting deep-ish voice.
