I think the Warden and Hawke (but mostly the Warden) not being there will be badly handwaved massive plot hole at best lol

-> There'll most likely be an occasion or at least an option to smack a witch at some point and obviously you can make your Inquisitor a female mage, decide that she's a witch and smack everyone -> there'll be more choices since not only is the game much bigger, the PC is the leader of the inquisition so you have big decisions to male as a faction leader, kinda like the Warden was the Arl/essa of Amaranthine in Awakening. -> They said there'll be more variations in interactions due to your race and certain specialization. If you're an elf you won't just get a couple unique lines here and there, like maybe instead of people not mentioning you're an elf just cause you're the "hero" they'll react to you being and elf but they won't treat you like shit as they would a normal elf because you're the Inquisitor, you lead the Seekers and take orders directly from the Empress of Orlais (or the Divine, or both). And if you're a Blood Mage it won't just give you special spells, people who see you fight will notice you use blood magic and will call you all on it, your companions will see you differently for using it, etc. So unless they invent a new species there can't really be new darkspawn either. Unless the Veil being torn affects them so, which it probably will. Abominations will also be more powerful because of that and there might even be demons in spiritual form roaming around. And of course if there's some fantasy animal species in exotic regions they would be mutated by the taint. -> Why did you feel like a terrorist ? If it's about what Anders does at the end of DA2, firstly that's not your doing and secondly it's not terrorism. Because terrorism means using fear to force your ideas and beliefs on another culture or society. Anders didn't [ SPOILERS ] blow up the Kirkwall chantry to terrorize people, he did it as an attack on the organization itself, he didn't go all "fear mages mortals, we are your masters naow, bow to us or die ! mwahahaha!!", his message was more like "enough of your oppression templars, we're not evil, we're not weapons you can just use like a sword, we're people and you don't have the right to cage us like freaks just because your religion says so, we're persons who deserve freedom like all others and we're sick of your crap so I declare war on you". -> darkspawn are members of other races that have been corrupted by the taint. The shriekers are elves, gemlocks are dwarves, hurlocks are humans, ogres are qunari/kossith, broodmothers are mutated females of any races and archdemons are some sort of very powerful dragons. And there seems to be some who are still basically their own person but are darkspawn too, like the old warden and the ancient tevinter archon Hawke meets in the Legacy DLC. --> Hmm, to see a lady start 'Witch-Smacking' people with their mammies in particular could be fun. --> Well this is interesting. --> This is sounding more like it right there. --> The Mages in general have every right to fight back, I'm not here to dispute that, if anything I'm here to note that I generally don't condone the stuff going on in between all that fighting. --> The Old Warden? Which one?

Maybe one of them got promoted to parent perhaps?(Wishful thinking, I know but its the thoughts that count and the results that matter!) ___ Yes, definitely your takes on The Warden would be a major Plot-hole if they're absent.

-> the old warden that Hawke meets in the Legacy DLC for DA2
-> my dalish elf wouldn't really care about the state of the world unless it either threatened her people or if there was darkspawns/a blight. My is pro-world peace and true justice, so to speak. She thinks it's wrong to oppress people based on false beliefs so she's mostly pro mage but she'll also fight bad mages. And of course she'd act against anything the darkspawn would do. My Mage Warden is blatantly anti-templar and chantry though so there's just no way she'd do nothing. Plus if Morrigan returns from the eluvian she'll wanna know everything about it and see Morrigan again too. The only one of those 3 who's paired up is the queen of ferelden but 2 wardens can't make kids. Plus it'd be a shitty excuse for the strongest person in the world to ignore a world war.

He looks kinda like a DA2 spawn, light grey skin with blue scaly patches, he has bits of armor on him, missing most of his hair and he's hunched forward.
