Did you see the new update ? You can play music and choose a menu theme now. Granted it's music from a USB device, not the HDD directly, and there's only 5 themes so far, but it's cool

Honestly I'm pretty sure most people were fine with how the PS3 is, personally I basically wanted a more powerful PS3, cause that's the point right ? I never heard anyone say "what's this playing music and storing pics bullshit ? And who needs to customize how the menu looks ? That's retarded. They should remove all of that. It'd be way better if it only played games"

To the themes and stuff I don't know, but the non-music thing was stupid and called out for the bullshit it was. But yeah, a more powerful PS3 is more or less what I thought it was, they don't seemed to have changed much else. You're supposed to be able to use an avatar you upload to the PS4 though, but I haven't figured that part out yet. But update 2.00 seems good.

Well my avatar on PS4 is just the same from my PS3 but I don't think you can change it directly from the PS4

It's just something I've heard, and something I know you can do via the Vita, as my brother did it that way. But then, it's something to do with the "real names" system, and unless we each requested that, we wouldn't see it anyway. I think.
