@mugi you meet a Salarian Spectre in ME3 the one who finds out about the Indoctrinated Hanar. --------------------- @shadow so somewhat like the start of ME 2, you go through a mission as character x then you wake up in the med bay after an explosion and they ask you some history questions to make sure you didn't get your brain scrambled.

That sounds like New Vegas….

Knukailsit also sounds like the start of ME two where after the first mission they ask questions to make sure the choices are all correct as far as the big ones are concerned.

The article I linked mentions new galaxies entirely, maybe they're outright avoiding choosing an ending

@knuks might as well be a new Galaxy still though. Completely different species more than likely.

Except if you picked Control, Shepard would still be around, and if you picked Synthesis everyone would be cyber-organic

I was thinking more along the lines of the way DA 2 did it, but yea, same difference. ME 2 did it, Kotor 2 did it, and possibly a few more that I cant think of. I...don't think what knuk is thinking of is the same thing, the questions in New vegas were to establish the skills and whatnot that you will be given, not what continuity the game should go with.

"The game developer confirms that almost everything in Mass Effect 4 will be new. This includes the protagonist, storyline, races, combat abilities and even galaxies"

Except if you picked Control, Shepard would still be around, and if you picked Synthesis everyone would be cyber-organic Thats why I said that in the start it will ask you how you ended the third game. That way it will put you into a slightly altered game than everyone else. For example say you chose synthesis, so now every one/thing has metal bones and muscle fiber weaves and various other cyber upgrade, that would mean that every one is harder to kill than if you did another option, or something like that.

But then it's not ME, really. It just has its name.

"The game developer confirms that almost everything in Mass Effect 4 will be new. This includes the protagonist, storyline, races, combat abilities and even galaxies" lol, that would mean that it is a sequel in name only. Its like taking a movie franchise like......say...Friday the 13th, Calling it Friday the 13th part 11......and then making it take place in Mexico and featuring a drug lord hunting down the chupacabra.
