Mentioned this in the general random discussions thread, but this is what I have so far:
Earth 616, Ultimate Earth(from Marvel), Prime Earth, and Earth 2(from DC)have been fused together. While at first the four worlds struggle to keep order with the chaos that ensues, but enventually with help of the heroes the newly formed Earth manages to maintain peace. Meanwhile, Darkseid and the forces of Apokolips are returning to Earth as he promised to the Justice League he finds himself some allies. Thanos and his Black Order, the Cabal(excluding Namor), the Apocolypse Twins their Horsemen of Death(excluding Sentry), Apocolypse and his Four Horsemen, Gorr, Helspont, Mongul and War World, Doomsday, H'El, Black Hand, Crime Syndicate, Super Doom, Ulysses, Larfleeze, Volthoom, Despero, and the Sinestro Corps. As Apokolips approaches, Batman and Iron Man become aware of the massive invasion force coming to them and enlist the help of Galactus, who sends all the heralds he's used(with the exception of Terrax). Fearing the need for more heroes they call for Sentry(returning after finding a place to dispose of Exitar), the Squadron Supreme, Supreme Power, the Great Society, Guardians of the Galaxy, Annihilators, Wraith, the Green, Blue, Star Sapphire, and Red Lantern Corps's, Indigo Tribe, Orion, Retaliators, G-Men, Future Family, Stormwatch, and the Demon Knights. When Apokolips's forces arrive Darkseid sends his Furies, Horsemen of Death and Apocolypse, the Cabal, Black Order, Sinestro Corps and half of the armies on War World and Apokolips to invade the newly formed Earth. Leading the invasion are Gorr, the Apocolypse Twins, Volthoom, Sinestro, Ulysses, and Black Hand. Realizing how powerful the forces that are still on Apokolips and War World Odinson, Thor, Beta Ray Bill, Angela, Hercules, Juggernaut, Wonder Man, World Breaker Hulk, Red She Hulk, Skaar, Red Hulk, Hyperion, Gladiator, Death Seed Sentry, Blue Marvel, Binary, Quasar, Silver Surfer, Drax, Black Bolt, Wraith, Superman, Val Zod, Super Girl, Power Girl, Fury, Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Hal Jordan, John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Kyle Raynar, Alan Scott, Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz, Captain Atom, Apollo, Shazam!, Majestic, Icon go on the offensive. Half the team is sent to War World and the other half is sent to Apokolips. On War World, Doomsday, H'El, Super Doom, Mongul, Apocolypse, Crime Syndicate, Helspont while on Apokolips Thanos and his Black Order, Darkseid, Larfleeze, Black Hand, and Despero. If one side of the team can prove victorious over the other they are capable of sending back up to the other(i.e. if Apokolips and War World defenders can beat Earth's Strike Force they can invade the Earth as well if they see they are loosing or because they feel like it and vice versa). Can the Apokolips's invasion force take over the Earth or will it's defenders prove too much? And can Earth's strike team cut off the head of the snake and stop the invasion?
Like I mentioned before, I want help with characters involved(besides the Earth heroes and the villains of the Apokolips and which, if any, need to be taken out or added), incarnations for characters, the overall scenario, and making the teams of invading and defending on both sides. The idea is mostly that many of these villains are vastly more powerful than then the heroes, but at the same time the heroes have a huge numbers advantage, so I was hoping it'd balance out.
What do you guys think of this so far? Kinda afraid I might have too much going on in it...

These are a lot of names that I can't recognize right off the bat. I'd say (prepare your body for this headache) But split the two teams up into two spoilers and post a picture right next to the name. So as to best start off IMO

These are a lot of names that I can't recognize right off the bat. I'd say (prepare your body for this headache) But split the two teams up into two spoilers and post a picture right next to the name. So as to best start off IMO O boy... That's gonna take a while... Alright, welp, here we go: Darkseid: static.comicvine.com/uploads/scale_small/8/81965/2309871-justice_league.jpegI'll have to make a list later on for the Furies and other forces on Apocolypse. As it is this is a daunting task, and that's WITH characters I'm already aware of...I'm not 100% sure I even know all of the forces from Apokolips quite yet. Thanos: img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120510211930/marveldatabase/images/f/f9/Thanos_(Earth-616)_returns_in_Avengers_Assemble_Vol_2_3_textless.jpgThe Black Order, which conists of Proxima Midnight, Black Dwarf, Corvus Glaive, Ebony Maw, and Supergiant static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/6/64880/3497559-6614527337-Thano.jpgThe Cabal: static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/2/28028/4045018-new+cabal.jpg Corvus Glaive and Supergiant are also a part of this, but obviously they aren't doubled in it. Apocolypse Twins: img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130425003429/marveldatabase/images/9/9f/Apocalypse_Twins_(Earth-616).jpgThree Horsemen of Death: img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130411204221/marveldatabase/images/5/5a/Uncanny_Avengers_Vol_1_10_Textless.jpgSentry is excluded from the invasion side. Apocolypse: upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/4/48/Apocmessiahwar1.pngFour Horsemen of Apocolypse: marvel.wikia.com/Horsemen_of_Apocalypse_(Earth-616)I actually don't know which four horsemen I want to pick for this team. Gorr: static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/7/76733/2953575-gorr-the-god-butcher.jpgHelspont: www.rapsheet.co.uk/Images/Characters/Helspont.jpgMongul: img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131203202624/marvel_dc/images/a/a2/Batman_Superman_Vol_1_6_Textless.jpgDoomsday: static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11112/111122896/4631276-doomsday3.jpgH'El: static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11112/111122896/4631276-doomsday3.jpgBlack Hand: vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/greenlantern/images/8/87/Green_Lantern_Vol_5-11_Cover-3_Teaser.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20120701201609Crime Syndicate: img3.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20131023173610/marvel_dc/images/9/93/Justice_League_Vol_2_24_Textless.jpgSuper Doom: cdnmo.coveritlive.com/media/image/201210/php03wAJOAC_Cv16.jpgUlysses: media.insidepulse.com/zones/insidepulse/uploads/2014/06/Superman-32-Spoilers-DC-Comics-New-52-Ulysses-John-Romita-Jr-8.jpgLarfleeze: static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11117/111176815/4515616-4474837498-36297.jpgVolthoom: img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130522220533/marvel_dc/images/6/6a/Green_Lantern_Vol_5_20_Textless.jpgDespero: static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/9/99801/3125522-despero+vs+j'onn.png Sinestro Corps: vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/greenlantern/images/1/1f/Wizardsincorpsavx5.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20080826032800Heralds of Galactus. For the purpose of this match, anyone on this list is fair game, ESPECIALLY Deadpool: marvel.wikia.com/Heralds_of_Galactus_(Earth-616)These next few are just Marvel's anologue's for DC's JL. I did the same thing with DC adding their Marvel anologue's in for shits n giggles. Squadron Supreme: marvel.wikia.com/Squadron_Supreme_(Earth-712)Supreme Power: marvel.wikia.com/Squadron_Supreme_(Earth-31916) Great Society: marvel.wikia.com/Great_Society_(Earth-4290001)Guardians of the Galaxy: static.comicvine.com/uploads/scale_large/6/67663/3797207-01.jpgAnnihilators: static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/1/11352/1337160-cosmicavengers.jpgWraith is probably the only one on Earth's side that's on the level of most of the villains are(i.e. he could more than likely take three or four of the bigger heroes at one time and still win). He was a supervillain from Supes Unchained series, but unlike most of his villains, Wraith did what he thought was best for the Earth(which is why he's helping out), he just thought Supes wasn't it. img4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130829190442/marvel_dc/images/e/eb/Superman_Unchained_Vol_1_3_Textless.jpgThe next few are just Lantern Corps: img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090424160916/marvel_dc/images/8/81/Blue_Lantern_Corps_03.jpgimg1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20090718045938/marvel_dc/images/8/8e/Green_Lantern_Corps_005.jpgvignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/greenlantern/images/e/ea/Red_Lantern_Corps.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20090427022745vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/greenlantern/images/f/f8/Indigo_Lantern_Tribe.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20090427202047vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/greenlantern/images/8/80/Carol_Ferris-8.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20090308031943Sorry that they aren't in the order that I listed them. Orion: img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100413231016/marvel_dc/images/b/b6/Orion_012.jpgNow DC analogue's. Like I said, they're mostly just meant to be in there for shits n giggles, since some of them are utterly featless. Retaliators: img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20150131205207/marvel_dc/images/9/93/Earth_8_0001.pngG-Men: dc.wikia.com/wiki/G-Men_(Earth_8)Future Family: img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20150108202520/marvel_dc/images/5/58/Future_Family_%28Earth_8%29.jpgStormwatch: img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20140402200524/marvel_dc/images/5/53/Stormwatch_Vol_3_30_Textless.jpgDemon Knights: static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/1/18863/3043502-demon_knights_.jpg[/spoilter] Sorry I didn't just drop the image, but I figured this would be less of a headache, and still get the images for you to see. Also, worth noting that all hereos and villains on Earth are still around and are able to help out with defending the Earth, even if I didn't explicitly mention them. The only way they aren't involved is if they're off invading Apokolips or War World. Although, I would like to have a team that's meant to engage the main forces of Apokolips directly(i.e. Gorr and his crew)with support from other characters available as they can help out or happen to passby. Another thing I was considering was adding some more Earths from DC, Marvel, as well as maybe some other comic book companies and maybe some mangas(I was mostly looking at the Power 6, Onepunch Man, and Dragon Ball. Obviosly I didn't do this since from fear of stacking one side too much(if I haven't done so already)or overcluttering the match. Thank you so much for helping me out with this! Hopefully Jake and Lowk see this as well and help out as well.

Seems interesting, though that is a loot of characters and variables.

Seems interesting, though that is a loot of characters and variables. Yea, I've had a similar idea to this Pre-Convergence. When I heard that Earth 2 was going to be destroyed, but the characters would survive, I thought they were going to be living on Prime Earth(before Earth 2 got brought back at the end of Convergence)and would help the JL fight Darkseid when he came back. This kinda slowly turned into the match you see above, where Apokolips and War World's armies fight the combined might of 4(possibly more)Earths with some help. Like I mentioned above, I thought of adding some other characters, like the Power Six, DBZ, Spawn, Jackie Estecado, etc but thought I'd keep it to just DC and Marvel vs Team Busting villains. And I figured it would be, but I thought maybe since universe matches work, this could possibly work as well, but I wanted to run it by some people for some revision and refining.

Oh I think it can work, just saying it is a lot of characters, though I think its enough people in play without being too much.

Oh I think it can work, just saying it is a lot of characters, though I think its enough people in play without being too much. Besides overcluttering, my other biggest concern was that Apokolips would be too powerful(since most of this team could potentially take on 4 or 5 at a time and still win)or that Ultimate Prime Earth 212 would have too many characters that they could potentially win with sheer numbers. Not really a major concern, but I'd also like a team specifically meant to intercept Gorr and his crew and anyone not mentioned there would probably just be going around the world fighting off the Apokolips' Red Shirts and Stormtroopers. Side note, but Darkseid War is seeming really similar to Infinity. In both, the invasion of Earth is sought after by the main villain searching for their offspring, there's a tertiary enemy who's opposing one of the sides(Anti Moniter fighting DS for DW and the Builders fighting the Galactic Council in Infinity). Just my 2 cents though. I'm just waiting for a Galactic Council to appear in DW(probably the GL's and/or New Gods coming in).

Well Earth 2 Alan Scott Lantern was pretty powerful, and you've got quite a few Lanterns, one of whom is a planet, and one of whom is a Superman level alien without his ring, then there's all the various Superman level characters.
Don't forget the long lost love child of the powerful villain and some random superhuman from Earth who hates daddys guts.

Don't forget the long lost love child of the powerful villain and some random superhuman from Earth who hates daddys guts. IIRC Alan Scott only became exceptionally powerful after he got the Multiversal Green, besides that he was still getting knocked around by Bruutal(or was it Steppenwolf?). Never heard of the Supes level Lantern though and IIRC didn't Mogo die? True, but Drax and Gamora didn't really do much with Infinity. Although it looks like Mr. Miracle looks like he'll have a huge part in Darkseid War, probably Orion as well.

I meant before that upgrade, he wasn't the strongest lantern ever but he was still decently powerful. And yeah can't remember his name but he's basically an alien that has Kryptonian level stats only without specific star juice to get said stats.
I meant Thane compared to Darkseids daughter and Thane and her both despising their fathers.

He was probably the strongest human Earth 2 has seen, still considerably behind the gods and alien characters though. Well, maybe not the strongest, but definitely up there. Sam, Grundy, and Yolanda definitely have a chance of taking that title. I thought Grail was trying to take over the Earth so that Apokolips could start it's invasion?

Point is the good guys have a lot of power houses so they should be quite safe for firepower.
I think its a bit of both but when she saw Mr. Miracle I think she said she was starting her plan to kill Darkseid may misremember.

I think that was Grail's mother who wants to kill Darkseid, not Grail herself. Could be wrong though. Makes me scared of what other hypbrids Darkseid has on his planet.

Yea, at the end it was Myrina Black 4.bp.blogspot.com/-6GRBUQ_ZUeA/VW8NDWIv1zI/AAAAAAAMBJ0/I6lCaooyxoU/s1600/p_4_38%2Bcopy.jpg Grail's mom. Although it looks like she's a part of her plan as well(she says death to Darkseid in a separate comic). As far as the match is concerened, any ideas of what should be changed? Characters taken out/added in, any Earths that would be better suited than the Earths involved already or that should be added? Thoughts on throwing non-Marvel/DC characters from other comic companies or even mangas? Are the three villain teams solid teams? What about the two hero teams? Should there be an Earth group that mainly focuses on the invasion team? Should certain characters have separate incarnations aside from the standard ones? How bout the overall scenario, is it believable enough?
