There'll be no dice rolls, and a stats-ish based thing will mean we won't have "well my char is this strong so they can do this" - "nu uh, my char would easy be able to do this to you instead" - yadda yadda.
You saw just how much of a mess our more "write your own adventure story" style was. Was just a thought anyway.

I have to agree because someone can easily 'farm' or get lucky and end up getting fuckton of superior stats. I wasn't thinking that sort of style. More of a way that, in case of character clashes, there's an easier way to decide what would happen. If you know what I mean.

Well the character sheets was more just so we could have a neat format to put everything in. That said the DFRPG doesn't use a D&D style system it uses the Fate system. You have aspects that decide who the character is and skills that decide what he can do ranging from Mediocre (you didn't pick that skill), to average/fair at, to good/great at, to superb+. Stunts which are little tricks advantages and knacks a person has on top of that (these in the DFRPG are contrasted by supernatural powers no idea if we'd have anything to contrast against here) the stunts are extensions and trappings on specific skills that amplify them and make up for deficiencies in other areas. To use the game books example. Lenny has a high gun skill and low athletics skill so he creates the "run and gun" stunt so that he can roll(or whatever system we end up using, the Fate system uses + or - dies as opposed to a D20 their called Fudge dice) for guns to dodge instead of athletics like you normally would. The GM, in this case Ruliya can add the limit to that of "so long as he has a gun at hand" and rationalize it as laying down fire to look like a less tempting target or rationalizing it specifically in a ranged fight by saying he's using his knowledge of sight lines and similar to make himself less of a target. Aand maybe I should just show Ru the game book and let her look over to see if it would work..

Hmm perhaps we could do a system based on quality of equipment we have. We find equipment or so and we roll a dice to determine if it's junk-1 to Epic Badassery-6 but than again this system is rather poor as someone could easily end up getting fucked over.

Hmm now I wanna do a Fate type RP someday XD. All the legendary heroes...ah that would be horrendously lop-sided if someone finds some broken hero/villain/monster
