He played what he was told to, he didn't write his character Doesn't make a good actor. Batista played it well.

I read that Batista went out & took Acting classes so he could be his best for the role. Super humble guy I saw an article quoting him saying he practiced a lot and passed auditions 6 or 7 times before being taken and he "cried like a baby" when he got the part

Thats tears of joy worthy. Dedication is a plus

Vin Diesel does characters with only a few lines surprisingly well. I saw the Celestial. I squeed like a bitch, under my breath, when we saw Thanos, fully saw Thanos. I squeed at a lot of the comic references. Who sat til the end and saw Howard? xD And who went, WTF?! Hahahaha, okaaaay xD Awesome! ^This accurately describes my reactions to the movie almost to a tee. I'd have added dancing groot.

Loved this movie! Cosmo the telepathic space dog! Adam Warlocks Cocoon again! And busted! Which fits with us getting him and Richard mother fucking Rider in GotG 2! Fucking Cosmo was in it! Knowwhere! Celestial flashback! Fucking Infinity Gem truly in use for the first time at it's full potential, fucking awesome! Plus them actually having to separate Ronan from the gem to defeat him, very nice freaking touch! No idea what the fuck Howard the Duck was doing there but...Cosmo the telepathic soviet space dog! I don't care if he's just a cameo it's fucking awesome! Everything about this movie was fucking awesome! So many nods, so much added to the universe! So much cleared up! And Thanos's fucking voice and body! Now that is an imposing villain! DC, take some freaking notes from that

Kree were sorta under utilized.
Bradley Cooper really did a good job as Rocket. And that damn post-Cred scene, lol.

They've given Thanos great presence, so it makes me feel good about Ultron being an effective menace.
