That could work, if they also get some kind of mech or vehicle to match Liberty Prime.

Iirc the enclave downed LP with a few air strikes, the UNSC could likely afford to do something similar. The whole faction includes their ships too no ?

Well, Liberty Prime can one shot the Enclave's Vertibird helicopters. And no, I had just ground-based combat in mind. Just "x number" of both sides armed with only their usual weapons, but having access to one huge vehicle/mech as well.

Oh, forget that bunch then, I very much doubt Spartans could take LP. Gonna have to be one of Borderlands' Corporations me thinks. Hyperius the Invincible vs Liberty Prime

Never played Borderlands.
What can Hyperius the Invincible do?

Down your powerful kinetic shield in like 3-4 glancing shots at most, kill your made of iron vault hunter about as easily and has crap tons of health. In non-gameplay terms I'd say that gives him more firepower than most fighter ships kinda stupid levels of durability. He's most likely sturdy enough to tank several of his own volleys' worth of dakka.

Sounds like an even match against Liberty Prime.
Now, which Borderlands faction has that robot?

Hyperion, obviously they also have literal armies of warbots that they can digistruct pretty much infinitely.

Well, I was thinking just regular soldiers with a mech against other regular soldiers with a mech.
What does Hyperion have in the way of your average soldier?

Engineers with industrial power-exoskeletons, mook soldiers in futuristic armor and elite soldiers with really hard shields (physical arm wielded shields) but the average Hyperion mook is a warbot.

I'd like to go with either the former or the latter depending on what you just said.
What are the warbots armed with?

That page also has links on Hyperius the invincible and the Saturn, which is a nigh-Godzilla sized mecha with macross missile weaponry.

Also Star ship troopers (book not movie) might be good, they have some Exo suit that is basically practically a mecha
