And even more disturbing is reports of other figures around the world; apparently immune to the ravages of time, unable to be caught and carrying a host of different weapons. While there are indeed reports of various people fighting 'Nickels,' none have ever survived to tell the tale. However, the scenes have always been gruesome in the extreme. Men turned to solid stone, the shadows of doomed agents burned into the crosswalk, empty sets of clothes without any sign of their former occupants, etc. It is unknown how Nickels accomplishes these unbelievable effects or whether the pistol is involved, however he is always seen with it drawn when being pursued, so it must be assumed it actively has a role in the deaths of the various officers and agents sent after him. But reports that several bronze studs of the same color and nature as the sword lead officials to believe it is the latter.

Bio: The plains of existence were once merged as one in a time unremembered by man or beast. Beings of darkness and light existed in a void of chaos and struggle where a millennium passed in moments and seconds in years. Change came suddenly with the appearance of a god. This god was a being beyond imagination or description, it had no concept of what was around it, whether created from the primordial turmoil or merely stumbling upon it in its travels we will never know. The gods mere presence warped reality around it, if this was done intentionally or not is a debate for another day, the plains were ripped asunder and made anew, each a separate dimension. For reasons unfathomable, the god took notice of the change it had made and set in place an impregnable divide between the plains; however, this divide began to unravel the fabric of existence. Balance had to be restored, so the god created a points along the divide to allow the energies to flow between worlds just enough to balance out the universe. At each point stood a great black door. To prevent the beings of the plains from using the doors to invade each other, the God created an order of guardians, each empowered to defend the doors for all eternity. Upon the creation of these guardians, the god departed, leaving them to their tasks. The guardians soon found that they would gain in power for every warrior who fell in battle in their Dimension, the longer time passed, the greater their power grew. One by one the guardians grew corrupt, abandoning their doors to do battle with each other in hopes of gaining more power. Their conflict tasted until only one remained. The strongest of his brothers, he absorbed them and then turned his gaze to the plains they had abandoned during their war for dominance. The plain of darkness had grown in power, bursting through door after door, conquering and corrupting every plain save for one....the last door......the black door to the mortal plain. The last guardian.....the Eternal Sentinel.....now stands guard of the black door. Defending it alone against the unending waves of darkness and the foolish mortals who attempt to breach it from the other side..................................................................

Bio: Born on the original Saiyan homeworld, had no siblings but played with (read fought) other children of the tribe, the race fled their homeworld when she was around 10 years old and landed on Planet Plant. Then inhabitants, the Tuffles welcomed them amicably and offered to share the planet. Her tribe, as all other saiyans, lived in the arid Badlands regions of the planet.
On arrival as a child she was intrigued by the strange devices the Tuffles possessed and maintained that interest into adulthood, she would regularly fly from the Badlands to the borders of cities and observe their advanced civilization, occasionally stealing devices to check them out up close, though she would put them back on the street or on a bench near where she would take them from. Obviously she was eventually caught in the act but fortunately when she replied to the accusations that she only wanted to know how they work ("not stolen, borrowed, if I wanted to keep I would kill for it") the peculiar curiosity pleased the Tuffle (whose name was Mikan) and he offered to explain whatever she wanted in exchange for not stealing borrowing anymore.
As time went and the visits piled on she started occasionally helping, doing such tasks as displacing heavy machinery or fetching rare ores across the planet. As Mikan reached the end of his life (around Age 620) he offered a final gift to Daikon for being unlike the rest of her race, she wished she could live longer so she see all the "strange new devices they'll build next" and also to "get to fight forever". Mikan laughed that she wasn't so different from her kin after all. He gave her a box of medicine that extended youth by a few years with every treatment. Upon questioning he explained that he could not take it himself because it was still unperfected and very stressful on one's metabolism, which being already old would likely kill him, but that she being a saiyan, was likely hardy enough to endure it. Having no close relatives he also left her an assortment of small devices which she brought back to her cave.
She tried to tinker with some of them but none of her "projects" ever amounted to much. Having to hide her mysterious longevity she moved to a more remote location and was assumed dead a couple decades later. When Age 720 arrived, a full century after the death of her Tuffle friend, the current strongest warrior of the saiyan tribes, Vegeta, attempted to take over the rest of the planet, which sparked a 10 years long war with the Tuffles. However in her hermitage she took no notice of the conflict until Age 730 when the full moon manifested and the feral oozaru hordes finished in one night the battle they had been struggling in for a decade. She exited her cave and rushed to see what was happening but of course was shifted into her Great Ape form almost immediately by the blutz waves of the moon.
Come morning she was among her kin again for the first time in over 100 years. Of course she could not simply up and disappear again, as they did not know her as an old maid nearing her life expectancy but rather as just another young warrior. To keep that cover until she could manage another solution she enrolled in the newly formed Saiyan Army as a "low-class warrior", instinctively suppressing her ki. Shortly, about the very next year, a mysterious race came to the newly renamed Planet Vegeta: the Arcosians. They offered advanced battle armor and other technology in exchange for conquering worlds in their name. They also took the scouter technology the saiyans obtained from the Tuffles and improved upon the design to make it more combat oriented. Daikon was rather keen on the idea; go to new places, fight things, maybe see new kinds of devices. Even though she "playing weak" she tended to go overboard in her enthusiasm and she was somewhat noticed, thus sent on numerous missions to wipe planets clean so they could be sold. On the upside being alone on planets meant she could cut loose without arousing suspicion.
About 5 years after Freeza's assimilation of the Saiyan military into his own forces the latest planets she was sent to was home to a namekian of the dragon clan named Kata who held a position similar to Kami on Earth. He flew down from his lookout to meet her soon after she had started her rampage and in exchange for leaving his planet alone promised to have his helps gather the local set of dragon balls and grant her any wish she wanted, as long as it wouldn't cause harm to the planet's inhabitants. She had run out of Mikan's medicine a few years ago and the planet would offer no challenge so she agreed and asked to be granted eternal youth (though not full immortality, as "no risk is no fun"). In order to fool the Galactic Army she bore a vast tunnel system into the planet using ki blasts and instructed Kata to have the population move deep underground and hide. She reported the mission as successful and once it was sold and repopulated, she returned to wipe out the buyers and let the original inhabitants reclaim it.
When she came back from doing this Planet Vegeta had been destroyed, allegedly by a meteor though she was skeptical as she imagined that the saiyans would have seen it coming and destroyed it. But having no sure suspicions towards anything else she didn't push the issue with anyone. However she did have some doubts about Freeza so she did not stay around long. If he had killed the saiyans, he wouldn't keep the survivors too long. And if he didn't, well, he wasn't a very good boss regardless. So she went on a final missions for the Galactic Army and never returned from it, instead going from planet to planet looking for strong foes (and occasionally still, strange devices).
On one of them she came across a winged lizard-like alien creature and took it as a pet. It was later killed by a general of the Galactic Army remnants, who twisted his body in his grasp, breaking his neck and spine. This enraged Daikon enough to spark her transformation into a super saiyan, after which she proceeded to flash-appear in front of the general, where she echoed his killing of Satsumo by twisting his torso halfway around and snapping his neck hard enough to rip his head off, then tearing the rest of body in half. She subsequently also killed his fleeing minions with tracking ki blasts and finished off her rampage by completely disintegrating in rapid succession the 4 planets in that solar system that were used as global military bases. No other major events occured in her history prior to being summoned to the Time Nest.
Personality: Daikon shares the common saiyan traits of innate enjoyment of conflict, recklessness, large appetite and apparent lack of sympathetic or romantic emotions. She differs however by being more composed than aggressive in tone (or at least is more passively aggressive) and her interest in understanding things unrelated to battle, although still prone to steer their use towards something battle related. She was also able to form strange friendships with seemingly incompatible people despite not changing her significantly in character. Though ruthless she will also keep her word if she promised to do good actions, unlike many saiyans who would simply follow their lust for bloodshed and betray any alliances in favor of more killing. It should be noted however that this stems as much, if not more, from her particular worldview as it does from simply goodness. She took the peaceful deal half in part because that planet wouldn't have been fun to fight anyway. The reverse could also be argued however, that she exterminated the populations of numerous planets not out of malice but because the exterminations were good fights. This similarly extends to her (current at least) stance on killing: fighting is only fun when both opponents can actually fight, it ends when one or both can't fight anymore, whether this is due to simply injury or death is largely irrelevant. Daikon will hit you until you stop moving, she doesn't care if that means you're dead or not. This particular brand of battle thirst means it's likelier for her to befriend much weaker people since she will have zero interest in fighting them, though it's possible she could take a liking to opponents who are both very strong and amicable, so that she could fight them again and again.
Powers: -Vast Superhuman Strength: could lift around a dozen times her body shortly after birth, as a young adult could crush large boulders and quake the ground, nowadays is capable of smashing entire planets apart by pure physical might, while in SSJ states possesses astronomical levels of muscle strength
-Tremendous Superhuman Speed&Agility: supersonic as a teen, hypersonic as a young adult, nowadays can far exceed the speed of light even in base form
-Enormous Superhuman Durability&Endurance: even as a young adult when she was of average power for her kin most weapons from any planet couldn't seriously damage her, it's likely that even city-destroying blasts wouldn't have put her down. In her current state Daikon is more less invulnerable to anything below astronomically threats, and like all saiyans, even when she is hurt she shows inhuman tolerance to pain and injury.
-Eternal Youth, through initially Mikan's medicine and later a DB wish, Daikon will forever stay in her physical prime unless she is killed by force
-Superhuman Senses: shares the saiyan racial trait of highly heightened senses to a large but unknown degree perhaps equivalent to extremely keen exemples of the animal kingdom
-Ki Manipulation: same general control as most fighters of any relevance, although more skilled than most as she's had over 3 centuries to practice it. Was able to instinctually learn to lower her apparent power level but still relied on her old scouter to sense the powers of others prior to being summoned by Shenron
-Exceedingly High Spiritual Power: Through a combination of many Zenkais and judicious training methods over 300+ years, Daikon's power is such that merely shifting to SSJ2 more or less compensates for the gap caused by her lack of god ki
Abilities: -Flight
-Tactics: is pretty adept at thinking up battle strategies on the fly
-Training Acumen: perhaps not for others but is very good at pushing herself to ever higher power levels. She figured out that training works by having your body recover stronger and thus incorporated pauses in her regimen. Also relatively quickly managed to push the SSJ transformation to 2nd and 3rd forms and about just as quickly figured out that training the base form reaped much bigger rewards in the long run, as a result her base form is disproportionately strong compared to other saiyans and hybrids she meets at the Time Nest.
-General Intellect: when not understanding things Daikon is better described as uncultured or misinformed than simply too dumb. For exemple she almost always assumes that strange objects that can apparently just make things happen are devices with inner workings (though that assumption was wrong when made about DBs); she also has a rough understanding of political tactics despite being raised in a barbaric tribe.
