Well UNSC standard equipment isn't super advanced.

Still though, I thought their marines would put up some kind of fight.

No, but then again I don't know Halo that well which likely led to it.

Yes I am very serious 4:45 They got kinetic barriers to deflect hypersonic rounds and there guns can easily one shot any non-Spartan. Also their slightly augmented IIRC. I really don't see how a UNSC Marine or ODST can stand a chance. As it is the only augmented guy on the UNSC team is Johnson and his talent for sniping is wasting since he's armed with a MA5D. But if anyone's got an argument for them I'd love to see it.

Don't Spartans have about the same gear?

Don't Spartans have about the same gear? They're more likely to have special weapons since they usually pick their own gear, like the anti-vehicle ARC-920 railgun and Promethean weapons they scavenged off Requiem, like the Binary Rifle or Scatter shot which disintegrates half ton Spartans in one shot. They also have the shields, speed, and strength to keep them alive long enough to use said weapons. They also have armor abilities like the hardlight shield which can shrug off a 102mm rocket. An auto-drone that hovers above the user and shoots energy beams. Invisibility Regeneration field that makes a huge sphere that constantly keeps the energy shield from breaking

Well I'll wait and see if Shadowknight wants to change it.

Changing them to Spartan IV's are fine with me......as long as they stick to using UNSC tech.

@shadow what would you like to alter the loadouts to if anything? I don't know. I hadn't intended a squad on squad match, you added the extra people......Ask the Halo people what weapons would be appropriate....just...No super duper uber weapons, we want it to be a fair(or as close to it as possible) fight. I had assumed thats why you gave them all assault rifles.....

The problem here is you CAN'T make it fair without majorly gimping the ME side, while greatly boosting the UNSC side (like arming them all with exotic weapons since standard UNSC stuff isn't good enough) because the UNSC is way behind in weapon tech compared to ME, in which case, what's the point? Only way I can see this ever being fair would be a straight up fist fight with Johnson and Anderson.

@shadow it's your match though, I came up with the squad thing cause I thought it would work, but if you want to alter the scenario feel free.
