Xenos have taken over a version of Earth in a few months, not much longer if any longer...looks like this will be a very close race. Can the xeno's be infected? From what I understand there are three separate earths in play. One goes to each species, the match is a race to see who can conquer their own planet first. Now, to answer your question, more than likely not, unless the flood can takeover silicon-based organisms and adapt to survive molecular acid blood. As far as I know the Xenoes are immune to pretty much all forms of infection.

Shadow is correct there are three separate Earths and it's a race to be the first conqueror.

Oh, Then the flood could take this. There's enough biomass in asia to jump them into the coordinated stage, build a gravemind and start creating pure forms.

assuming they land in Asia...I honestly didn't think about where to have them land..

Well it doesn't really matter for the xenos. As long as there is a critter larger than a house cat running around, then there is a potential host

the Xeno's problem is the incubation period. The flood can have a body in seconds and a Gravemind just needs enough bodies to be created.

Hmmm..should we do this like a track race, the slower guys start closer/further ahead the faster guys further behind, whichever species has the slowest period starts closer to civilization, the next starts further out and the fastest starts farthest away?

Fair enough. Idk why we added the Necro's. We don't really know much about them.

Eh, I'm just trying to make things as fair as possible.

We'll the area they start or land at would be important. The Americas? Europe? Asia? Africa?

Maybe near New York for Xenos and...somewhere in the Amazon for the Flood....and the Necromorphs...somewhere not far from civilization but not only a few miles from civilization.

the Xeno's problem is the incubation period. The flood can have a body in seconds and a Gravemind just needs enough bodies to be created. Well, The Xeno's aren't exactly slow, the longest a standard one has been shown to incubate for is a couple hours, in the Alien 3 queens case a day (queens take longer to mature because they need to take more of the hosts DNA then drones and warriors). The shortest time We have seen is in the AVP movies where it took them what looked like around twenty to thirty minutes. This maybe due to the presence of queen/Predalien turning into a queen that prompted an exoneration in the the "Birthing". AvP 2 also showed us that at least 5 or 6 chestburstrs can be placed in side of pregnant hosts. (as sick as it is AvP 2 had the aliens chestbursters inside of pregnant women eating the unborns before they popped out.)

The flood still has the advantage in infect speed. A several seconds and they can take control if the target is dead.

That disturbing fact aside...does everyone agree with the placements?

If I remember right, Necromorphs require targets to be dead before they can enter them. lol, so the flood my have to deal with some body snatchers. Anyway, the xenos also use dead bodies, except not as hosts. Xenos.....terraform if you will. They spit up this Hive node that basically eats up all available organic materials from plants, carcasses, and even microorganisms to produce the structure for building hives. I am assuming that the xenoes start out with a queen, or at least Royal facehugger eggs (they hold queen embryos) so the Xenoes have a working hive mind in place form the start.
