Time for the Positive words of the day.
"Men, hoes are not girlfriend material. Stop chasing after them. I know finding a good woman is hard, damn near impossible sometimes. But they're around..hell you may have already met her but regulated her to friend status because she doesn't fit your ideal of beauty. This goes for you women too, you're not innocent of this either. We're all caught up in the chase for pure aesthetics we've lost sight of whats important."
This is DJ Vokun, Signing off.

Time for a special segment: Stuff Kenny finds Interesting Congress blocks retiring of A-10 Thunderbolt II 'Warthog'
For the initiated this is the hog:
Big, heavy and relatively slow. Its mission is to swoop down and utterly annihilate everything it views as unfriendly and not give a fuck about return fire.
For instance hog got its engine shot?
Hog don't care, hog still gonna fly. You can literally rip off one of it engines, and it'll still fly okay with just one.
Shot hog with high velocity AA fire?
Hog don't care. Hog still fly anyway.
Basically its the tank of the skies and it was built around a 30mm Gatling cannon. The plane did not come first, the cannon did. It just so happened that they wanted to fly it.
Bug for scale. And as you can imagine its an anti-everything weapon. Trucks, buildings, bunkers, tanks, poeple - it don't care; it kills it.
In any case, its an old airframe from the 1970s originally. Back when the worst nightmare of the western world was a literal flood of Russian armor invading Europe. So the A-10 was primarily a tank killer. There was no way in hell the Western world could possibly match the sheer number of tanks Russia was pumping out along with their stores of tanks all the way back to the T-54. So this was basically a way for a single pilot to decimate entire formations when they finally charged over the Iron Curtain. Speed up to modern times and the hog is a valuable asset in the world of CAS (close air support). Troops find themselves in a pickle (or A-10 was just bored and decided to go look for things to blast) and call in for help and the next thing you know everything used to be a problem is now either on fire, vaporized or quickly surrendering.
Unfortunately, budget concerns and the age of the craft makes it a prime target for getting cut. They're so old and take so much maintenance now to keep in the air when all those new F-35s are coming (possibly). So its basically a showdown now to ether keep the A-10 for its effectiveness in one mission type of replace it with the ultramodern, multiuse jet that is having so much trouble coming out.
My opinion is to try and keep the fleet of A-10 warthogs, yeah they can only really do one thing, but they're so goddamn got at it and they take a beating like nothing else.
Coming up at 5:50 is the final set followed by the positive words of the day. Good Morning world.
The final stretch! The Witch of the North has basked us in the glory of classic rock. Now Its time fore some one else to have a turn: Show her up Shadowknight!!!
First up, "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC
"Bad Reputation" by Joan Jett
"The Metal" by Tenacious D
"Bark At The Moon" by Ozzy Osbourne
"Hells Bells" by AC/DC
Positive Words of the day at 6:00
Time for the Positive words of the day.
"A woman willing to save a man from a path of destruction deserves all the love in the world."

I was going to cancel Tuesday's show but i feel like saying something. Lately i've been reflecting on my life. Reminiscing the past, analyzing the present and speculating the future. I…haven't always been a good person. I've experienced so much in my short time on this world…but i don't know what to do with that experience. So i've compiled a small list of things that i would like to share with you. I. Always be kind to your girl. I know it can be hard but there are very few women that think unemotionally. Should you crush her heart/feelings… she may seek comfort in the arms of another man. I would know... i've been the other man. Looking back i realize that i took advantage of her pain, i… let her make a mistake.
It wasn't until much later that i was the guy who said the awful thing and realized how that girl's man must have felt.
II. I used to be an emotional kid. I would cry, show sadness…cry. I was berated for doing so. Men don't cry. So over the years i hardened myself, either forsaking my emotions or burying them so deep in my psyche that they would never show themselves again. When i was weak, i made myself look tough. When i had no confidence, i acted like god's gift to earth. Often times what i show isn't whats real. But i keep pretending because even if I'm helpless, i can at least help someone else. III.I had a rough childhood socially. I had friends, good ones…but i was usually forgotten, cast out or ignored. I was the fool…i was liked when i was needed for a laugh, usually at my expense. ADHD didn't help but it let me escape to an imagination so vivid i wished it was real. I started to dream of being a hero, so that everyone will acknowledge me. I still have those dreams…but i've become a tragic hero…saving people but at the price of my life. So please…acknowledge those who no one else will…you may have no idea how much that would mean to them. IV. No matter what, above all else…keep your self alive. I cannot stress how important that statement is. Some of us march toward death without thinking about it, others…can't handle life so they take theirs. So many of you are needed to do great things, to be great people. Leave death for those who know they must die so that others can accomplish what they need to. Maybe it'll be me as a soldier… What Do We Say To The God Of Death? In any case, these are some of the things I've learned or think will help someone else. Much love.
