Awesome concept, unfortunately that's never going to fly, literally, over here in the US.

Us Murricans being too anus angered about the tech being used to spy on us by the government. Never stopped the government before. It'll happen eventually, like all technology that would turn a profit.

US Aid going to the Philippines
After one of the most powerful storms in recorded history devastated the Philippines, US forces are seemingly on route to help the victims. Take a moment out of your day to think/pray for the victims, its getting really bad over there.

Electronic Tattoo by Google
Google seems to want to take the next step up from Google Glass, with an electronic tattoo on your throat. It apparently would include a microphone and be able to pick up your voice and be able to play sounds as well. Interesting, but I can't help but think this has some disturbing consequences.

Latest Iranian Drone Revealed
Continuing the trend of drone becoming a bigger and bigger part of warfare, Iran has just unveiled their latest drone - boasting it's large size and capabilities. However, as with anything, it should be taken with a grain of salt as to what it can actually do, because these are the same people that tried to say this: Was Iran's answer to Western fighters by showing off their own 'stealth' aircraft. Of course it didn't take long for almost every single expert in the field to debunk this as no more than a prop. Its so small it can't really hold weapons, its wings don't really provide all that much lift and a whole slew of other problems. Such as it never shown to be flying and photos of it flying turning out to be photoshop jobs. Be that as it may, the new drone shows Iran's dedication to continue to develop advanced systems and weapons to show the Western powers and their neighbors they can't be invaded easily.

I...that prop plane almost looks like a fake F-22..maybe F-35...and..does it say as much on the side under the vent? They...did they honestly think that would work? I mean..really? - As to the Drone...I could buy it but at the same time if they also tried to pull of that aircraft thing...I could say no. I know Iran isn't an easy target but...that jet thing shows they are quick to try and fake being badasses..

At least it isn't as bad as North Korea's little attention stunts.

Paul Walker Dead in Car Accident
Damn.... kinda ironic. Still, very sad. I always thought he could do more work then he had. In other news, airlines are warned away from the new air defense zone set up in a attempt by China to land grab a bunch of valuable islands way outside their territorial waters. As it is, China is the biggest fish out that way and is doing much to pressure it neighbors for more power and influence in the region. Which is also why the US is increasing its presence there because of the major allies in the region and the rather harsh way the Chinese deal with issues if left to their own devices. I personally think the 'air defense zone' is totally laughable. China has bared enough air resources to protect even their own borders, and now they want to 'protect' something that requires of their pitifully mid-air refueling fleet and limited surveillance ability? Good luck with that. Even then, tensions are rising at Japan, Korea and the US has all violated the zone already and see no reason to stop.

Congress blocks retiring of A-10 Thunderbolt II 'Warthog'
For the initiated this is the hog: Big, heavy and relatively slow. Its mission is to swoop down and utterly annihilate everything it views as unfriendly and not give a fuck about return fire. For instance hog got its engine shot? Hog don't care, hog still gonna fly. You can literally rip off one of it engines, and it'll still fly okay with just one. Shot hog with high velocity AA fire? Hog don't care. Hog still fly anyway. Basically its the tank of the skies and it was built around a 30mm Gatling cannon. The plane did not come first, the cannon did. It just so happened that they wanted to fly it. Bug for scale. And as you can imagine its an anti-everything weapon. Trucks, buildings, bunkers, tanks, poeple - it don't care; it kills it. In any case, its an old airframe from the 1970s originally. Back when the worst nightmare of the western world was a literal flood of Russian armor invading Europe. So the A-10 was primarily a tank killer. There was no way in hell the Western world could possibly match the sheer number of tanks Russia was pumping out along with their stores of tanks all the way back to the T-54. So this was basically a way for a single pilot to decimate entire formations when they finally charged over the Iron Curtain. Speed up to modern times and the hog is a valuable asset in the world of CAS (close air support). Troops find themselves in a pickle (or A-10 was just bored and decided to go look for things to blast) and call in for help and the next thing you know everything used to be a problem is now either on fire, vaporized or quickly surrendering. Unfortunately, budget concerns and the age of the craft makes it a prime target for getting cut. They're so old and take so much maintenance now to keep in the air when all those new F-35s are coming (possibly). So its basically a showdown now to ether keep the A-10 for its effectiveness in one mission type of replace it with the ultramodern, multiuse jet that is having so much trouble coming out. My opinion is to try and keep the fleet of A-10 warthogs, yeah they can only really do one thing, but they're so goddamn got at it and they take a beating like nothing else.

US Navy funding 3D printed buildings
Seems the Navy has gotten on the craze of 3D printing for a sorely needed industry both in the private and public sector. So yeah - railguns, lightening guns and machines to print houses - all coming soon.
