Just thought I'd make a thread for it since it seems like we all play it/most of us play it or have played it at one point. - My Archmage Werewolf just took over Whiterun, it was so easy to just crush them all with magic, I just waltzed through the city burning everyone fool enough to stand in my way. I used Dawnbreaker to help take down the Jarl but other than that nothing but fire spell, well and one unlucky bastard who caught me just out of mana and got a fire breath shout to the face, but he didn't feel any pain that one was so quick love that shout. - And I was in a bit of a dark mood after some stuff that happened in my personal life so ended up going ahead and making my Chaotic Evil soon to be Vampire, a Dark Elf, went with female just to be more opposite my Breton werewolf, and named her after one of my favorite evil characters I've written Amaryllis.

I toyed around with a lot of different builds when I wanted to try out various weapons (like 1h swords or ethereal bows and master crossbows) But the one I stuck with the longest by far was an Imperial (since I liked the extra gold racial) using illusion and stealth (w/ a single dagger) as well as high speechcraft and mercantilism. I used charm and bribery most often -- not a fan of intimidation. I used elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Agent as the basis, since it was how I played Oblivion -- and took out "marksman" skill. Like the build I had no armored skills, and usually walked around with nobles attire and jewelry, once Dawnguard came out I got the red and black Vampire armor just for the sake of it looking higher class and not as common as other npcs (who had been sharing my noble attire.) Even though it's a light armor I got no bonuses due to lack of leveling that skill, and since my sneak tree was so high it also wasn't a burden either. Also I enchanted all applicable spots to have my illusion spells have 100% reduced cost, so I could always have cloak in my left hand ready to cast. I'd call the character true neutral, or maybe chaotic neutral due to the greed. Somewhere in between there. Skyrim was cool despite lack of multiplayer or pvp. Some things I would've liked were more clothing styles, better rewards for passing speech checks and some kind of arena or other betting system like Oblivion had.

Oh and I didn't go vampire or werewolf. I didn't like Dawnguard any more or less than the Vamps, but I just wasn't into the vamp thing aside from mist form, but it wasn't worth the other stuff and man-bat bit. And not a Werewolf fan either. Plus I liked living in the giant Solitude manor without any issues from the townspeople

I haven't had issues with Werewolf yet, but I'm always careful to scope out my target towns as human first get outside of visible range, change then go back to take them out, that way I can take them out without anyone being the wiser to who did it on either side, all they know is there is a werewolf, not who.

I didn't need to ever scope out areas since I could instantly flee at any time with cloak spell and shadow warrior perk. I believe I tried a little Werewolf gameplay though on my brother's character and wasn't a fan of it. Skyrim third person always felt a bit off for me

Werewolf works great for a warrior character.

I've found it's a great move for my mage too in the dungeons where the enemies are alive, if I run out of Magica just wolf out and slaughter them. Or just burst straight in and conserve my enchanted swords charge for the undead or very powerful enemies. Overall though I stick to either using magic with both hands or using Dawnbreaker as a fallback for when my magica runs out.

Im impressed you can play a straight up magic character. Mine is just well enough versed in magic to be effective.

It's actually pretty fun and easy, might be because the two characters I have are both magically inclined races with magic resisting and amping abilities already. I've cleared whole dungeons with just fire and frostbite or just fire in both hands, plus the occasional shout. Granted as enemies get stronger it takes a bit more than that sometimes. Which is where the magic Daedric blade comes in in those instances of emergency.

I'm concerned about your name: Amaryllis. Which is scarily like one I had called Amyrillis... Though I can't remember where I had her, I think she was a Goblin rogue on WoW.

Lady RuliyaI just took the name of my character from Fae Conflicts, since I'm somewhat basing that playthrough on her personality.

I had a feeling I'd seen it in Fae Conflicts, I was going to ask ;P. But it's the fact that it's such an odd name, yet we both came up with very close spellings ;P
My Altmer doesn't use much Magic and neither does my Breton. I know, I chose the magic races and didn't dabble with magic xD Well that's not true, my Altmer is pretty proficient in magics, I just forget to use them as they're all dead pretty quickly as my Archery and Stealth are so high it does amazing damage in Sneak Attacks xD

Yeah, Amaryllis, a flower that blooms in winter. Apt for a dark elf mage out for vengeance for the persecution of not just mages but her entire race as the snows fall in Skyrim. And as I said before in the Original Characters thread great minds think alike

My dark elf is lv100 in illusion magic and I'm going to get him to lv100 in destruction magic as well.
