I myself didn't really like her. My mage warden didn't mind Leliana, but she wants to end the templars and the chantry so if Leliana chose to side with the chantry my perky goth goddess level witch would paste her. Morrigan can learn the same spells, she just has much lesser stats. Fair enough, at least you clarified although I've yet to hear if the Mage warden ever locked lips with her, once. __ Best not to underestimate either side in here, I take it.

No, my Mage warden never got with anyone, she just flirted. I RP'd that she never settled because she has the hots for Morrigan.
Now get back on topic ^^

Now get back on topic ^^ Okie-dokie, witchy! ^___^ Hmm, going on what I recall, Veran is one of the more formidable LoZ humanoid-ish bosses to worry about, since its doubtful LttP/Oracles/LA Link would have been stuck fighting someone like her without a reason. (Dealing with a major crisis notwithstanding of course!)

Kinda shame we're stuck with DAO!Morrigan since DAIII!Morrigan must be considerably more powerful.

Kinda shame we're stuck with DAO!Morrigan since DAIII!Morrigan must be considerably more powerful. I can agree to this, sometimes cases like these are for the best, other times the opposite's true. No easy business to imagine, actually. If DAIII Morrigan's powerful enough to give Helba a decent-enough fight, or at least test Helba's Sweat glands, you can color me impressed to say the least.

A lot of the more powerful spells Morrigan has seem to take a few seconds to cast.

But she also has spells to immobilize that could be used to prevent Veran from interrupting a longer casting.

Morrigan can be pretty fast and mobile through shape shifting so it goes both ways.

That shapeshifting also takes her a few seconds to do.
I usually can't pull it off without getting attacked by the enemies a lot.

Only in gameplay, in the CG trailer(s) it was nigh-instantaneous.
