Interesting catfight today, especially considering we're dealing with shapeshifters. In one corner, the mighty sorceress Morrigan the Witch of the Wilds hailing from the Dragon Age universe. In the other, Veran the Sorceress of Shadows hailing from Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. Battle takes place at Stonehenge, which witch wins.

Just regular real-world Stonehenge?

I suppose so. didn't know if any particular versions would be preferable.

Well, this could be an interesting situation. Here's hoping the holy ruins don't wind up being a casualty in the course of the fighting, here.

Judging from my somewhat quick research they seem more or less kinda sorta matched, but I'm voting Morrigan for now because I like her.

In-game it's Giant Spider, Bear and Swarm (of magic bugs) plus and upgrade that makes the spider and bear forms into more powerful version. In-story she can transform into any animal.

So potentially at least Lore-wise, she might be more powerful than first glances imply, right? Interesting. Wonder what high end weaponry could a Mage bring to the table without winding up as anything akin to an Arcane Warrior, actually.

Should focus on what Morrigan herself can do, "a mage" could either be a nameless mook who's several times less powerful or say, my mage Warden, who's several times *more* powerful.

I'd say limit it to what we've seen Morrigan transform into.
Morrigan and Veran pretty much have an even amount of forms as it is lol.

Without making it any animal, she also claims morphing into birds, cats and wolves.

Veran can.
