Just thought i'd try and introduce you guys to Amtgard. It's a foam fighting LARP game. And there may be a park near you! It's the biggest thing I'm into and I fight weekly. Non profit groups. Fun friendly people. Beasting on your friend with foam swords. What else can you ask for!! Amtgard Here's a map of groups in america

I've been playing this game for 3 years now and don't think I'll ever give it up even when I'm on the field fighting against my grandchildren. Amtgard for some isn't just a game. To those who truly love it it becomes a lifestyle-travelling the country to different events- meeting like minded warriors and armor crafters.

In any case, I vaguely recalled you showing me one of those vids when it came to lackluster Combat speeds for supposed 'Casual' Superhumans actually.

Please don't die, I'd have to cast a Resurrection spell if you die laughing. Then again, Netflix does have every Asylum movie ever listed, and given how most of them are bad news, let's not go there. Does LARP have a plot?

I could play a healer and ressurect him since i'm Level 3! - It depends on the event, If someone designed a quest for us to follow yeah sometimes, different parks have their own storylines as well. Some people like to flesh out their character and backstory while Roleplaying all day; some just come out to fight and improve their combat skills. Some just come to watch and make armor and medival garb for other players. Sometimes we play CTF with two teams of 10 or more. Sometime we will quest all day and kill monsters played by volunteers so we can ensure "peace" in our lands. If you don't get it Cross, watching the video will really help.

I did watch the vid you linked me actually. I can't recall if its the same vid from months back or a different vid, though. The former makes more sense, yet the 2nd one has less of the threat of pacing around at work.

I used a LARP vid on FP to illustrate to FisherKing how fast 4 hit/second was. and how it wasn't beyond normal human combat speeds. It wasn't this vid, it was a Tournament video.
