I Know this is almost a month old but I have to say that, at h2h range, HK can use his utilities. They are installed in his arms and can range from Flame throwers, carbonite sprays, plasma throwers, acid spray, lightning projectors, Ion beams, poison gas emitters, stun rays, and various others that I cant remember at this time. Wouldn't Ion Beams be Bad news for Chief man if he gets hit? Ion beams are were created as anti-droid combat. They ignore personal shielding and burn out electrical systems. If you shot one at a combat droid they go down in one ta two hits, shoot it at an organic and it will take the shields down. I would assume that Chiefs armor would be resistant against emps; however, this isnt an emp. It would more than likely burn out his electrical systems in his suit, forcing him to fight with out a hud, and whatever electronic aid the suit provided.

Here is the full list of Droid Utilities he has access to in both the first and second game. HK can only equip 2 at a time, and each one has a 5 to 10 shot limit, unless it specifically states that its unlimited.
Adv. Gravity Generator
This device creates a more powerful gravity swell than the basic unit due to an unregulated energy governor. The use of such items is discouraged because of concern over environmental effects.
Advanced Flame Thrower
Intended as a combat upgrade and not generally avaliable to the public, this droid-mounted weapon can inflict a great deal of damage over a broad area. It is widely used by Republic forces
Advanced Shield Disruptor
Prototyped by Czerka Corporation, these extremely devastating droid and shield nullifiers have found their way to forces on both sides of the Sith/Republic conflict.
Advanced Stun Ray
This product is a special order aftermarket modification of a Quellegh Industrial stun ray. Very expensive to produce, most are in the hands of government-sponsored elite troops.
Baragwin Flame Thrower
Using an innovative technique, the Baragwin have managed to modify a normal flame thrower to operate in such a fashion as to ignite the very atmosphere around a charged guidance beam. The result is a flame thrower that doesn't need an external fuel source and can be run virtually indefinitely.
Baragwin Shield Disruptor
The Baragwin have tweaked and tuned a normal Shield Disruptor to be able to run off the mounting droid's power supply, giving it unlimited charges.
Baragwin Stun Ray
While not the most powerful of weapons, the Baragwin have modified a normal Stun Ray to run at such efficiency that it can tap into the power supply of the droid mounting it, giving it unlimited charges.
Carbonite Projector Mark II
Like the basic model, this weapon uses a carbonite freezing technique to super-cool synthetic compounds hurled at a target, though more efficient projectors make it far more effective.
Carbonite Projector
The inverse of a flamethrower, this weapon uses a carbonite freezing technique to super-cool synthetic compounds hurled at a target. This unconventional weapon has not yet seen widespread use.
Flame Thrower
This droid-mounted weapon can inflict damage over a broad area. The incendiary compounds within border on military quality, though the unit was initially designed for industrial purposes.
Gravity Generator
These devices allow a droid to create localized gravity swells, the reverse effect of a repulsorlift engine. This can seemingly increase the weight of an enemy, slowing their movement.
Oil Slick
This is a simple, yet effective, upgrade for any droid. A thin film of oil across the path of the enemy can slow their progress, allowing allies to retreat or engage them at range.
Shield Disruptor
Designed for Republic forces, these devices allow a droid to potentially devastate opponent droids or the personal shielding of an enemy, though the energy drain is quite large.
Stun Ray
Quellegh Industrial is becoming the standard in publicly traded non-lethal droid-mounted weapons. Company officials credit aggressive marketing towards any despot with credits.
Advanced Blowtorch This droid-mounted advanced blowtorch can be used as an improvised weapon, inflicting heat damage over an area. While an industrial tool, its advanced hydrocarbon fuel is closer to military-grade incendiaries than the more common acetylene.
Blowtorch
This droid-mounted acetylene blowtorch can be used as an improvised weapon, inflicting minor heat damage over an area.
Droid Bio-Assault Spray
Illegal in most civilized societies, the Bio-Assault Spray upgrade essentially breaks the target down at the molecular level, often leaving behind nothing more then a grey ooze.
Droid Carbonite Emitter
Typically used for long-term storage of perishable goods, these tools can be turned on human targets with reasonable certainty of the outcome. This advanced model uses a more efficient projector that can freeze greater volumes more rapidly.
Droid Carbonite Projector
Typically used for long-term storage of perishable goods, these tools can be turned on human targets with reasonable certainty of the outcome.
Droid Flame Thrower
Designed for extermination and pest control, these devices can also be used on larger beings.
Droid Ion Blast Mark I
The "Scrambler" was developed by Aratech and marketed towards customers who were faced with massive droid armies. Sending a pulse of highly-charged ions, this weapon destroys the electronics of enemy droids.
Droid Ion Blast Mark II
This version is equipped with a beam-splitter to allow the beam to be directed at multiple targets simultaneously.
Droid Ion Blast Mark III
The Mark III is the most feared weapon by droid army commanders. There is a drawback in the unit's power consumption. The interal circuitry can only withstand a few shots before it destroys itself. This version is also equipped with a beam-splitter to allow the beam to be directed at multiple targets simultaneously.
Droid Ion Striker
The Ion Striker is used by security droids to disable and destroy other droids, whether they be assassins or simply malfunctioning.
Droid Molten Cannon
An upgrade of the standard flame thrower, this device actually shoots wide streams of liquid fire. There are few practical applications requiring such devices but they are sought after by military powers for their devastating effect on morale.
Droid Multi-spectral Emitter
These highly destructive beams are typically mounted on heavily armored tanks and are used to counter an opposing army's vehicles. The beam produces so much output that it actually blows out the emitters in a few shots.
Droid Neural Pacifier
This device fires a beam that is disruptive to the neural pathways of biological creatures.
Droid Neural Scrambler
More powerful than the Pacifier, the Neural Scrambler is used to overload the victim's neural pathways to the point of loss of conciousness.
Droid Plasma Thrower
Ionized gas is pumped through this upgrade and burns through most known metals in seconds. Designed for rescue droids who sometimes need to make holes in starships' heavily armored hulls.
Droid Repulsor
This technology is borrowed from the units that power repulsor-lifts and creates an artificial gravity wake around the droid, essentially randomizing the axis of the gravity surrounding its enemies and slowing them to a crawl.
Droid Toxin Emitter
This small canister fits under a droid's plating and when activated, releases a small cloud of toxic gas.
Fire Suppression System This item uses a high-pressure agent to douse flames and cool critically overheating systems. The agent is comprised of two naturally occurring gasses and a synthetic compound similar to those used in carbonite freezing, producing a chemical stream cold enough to be used as an improvised weapon.

shadowknightwell some droids aren't as easily taken down by Ion Cannons but yeah I could see it quickly taking out the shields though.

shadowknightwell some droids aren't as easily taken down by Ion Cannons but yeah I could see it quickly taking out the shields though. Yea, but anyway, HK would be smart. Ion Cannons are more for droids, He would use the shield disrupter, in conjunction with things like the flame throwers, Bio assault spray, Plasma thrower, things like that.

Agreed. Honestly I think I posted this when I was annoyed about people in IG-88 vs MC on FP. Not proud of that but yeah.
