What is your favorite OC you've ever made.
Example: I created a character named Shadow for Fallout 3. Maybe it was because i've never played a game like this but Shadow is the only OC i've actually cared about. I can remember vividly walking out of the vault and gazing at the landscape with awe, walking aimlessly through the ruins of a neighborhood, The first time i killed someone. I had a lot of fun wandering the wastes making up my head-canon as we went. So I'm curious, Have any of you had an experience like that?

This is tough. Though I care about most of my OC.
Ruliya my Night Elf Warrior is one I still hold dear to my heart though, if that's what you mean.

An interesting question.
I didn't exactly think of him as an OC, precisely, at least by the modern definitions.
But I would have to say, the Clone trooper from Battlefront II's Campaign. That game was huuuge on my younger years, and I was in that stage, being the literary minded chap I am, that I was constantly making up backstories for random persons, and especially Star Wars. But yeah, the "Narrator" soldier from the Campaign was probably the first one that I made a relatively complex headcanon for (relatively, being how long ago that was). For some reason, I always thought the guy was really interesting, even though apart from his few bits of dialogue, he was a blank slate to the various play styles Battlefront offered players.
I wrote between the lines, imagined a personality, an appearance, even called him by the name I came up with. I got uniquely attached to this nameless video game character, felt fairly bad when I got him killed every so often, rooted for his ass when we fought battles.
Truthfully, I wouldn't be surprised if that attachment had something to do with how much of an Galactic Empire fan I am. It was literally me and him against the Rebels, fighting for our new Empire.
For how much younger I was, shit was real, lol.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who did that, my family thought I was nuts though, still do.

I don't really "care" about the characters per se. I kind of lack the imagination to be immersed in a solo game(in Fallout or Skyrim for instance). I can enjoy a story and appreciate the characters within it, but I don't really get a personal attachment to them.
Having said that, I have to go with my goblin on WoW. I'm on an RP server so I get to interact with other player-characters as opposed to the (still cool) NPCs of Bethesda and Bioware.
