"Hmph", she scoffed at the bothered sorcerer whilst she positioned some wood and proceeded to start spinning a small pointy branch against another. Smoke soon began rising from the pile.

Zafferella
She stood atop the hill and watched at the ocean, saw the ships meet. Felt the air crackle with powerful magics long before the magic storm came and went. She still felt the disturbance as she watched from a distance three survivors. Two Nord and a Vampire. Judging from his very specific armour he was Crius, or more commonly known as the Crimson Agony. She'd heard various tales and stories of this vampire. He dated back possibly over two-hundred years or more. She followed the group at a distance, unseen, unheard and undetected. She needed to know what these three were capable of. Sure she'd heard stories of Crius, but now she'd be able to see what was true and what wasn't. Reaching out with her mind she nudged a den of wolves towards their position, and three sabre cats, they would do nicely.
She studied how they fought them off. Crius indeed was an adept magic user. She could only guess at his plans, so she didn't bother, she didn't have any data to go on. She watched them make their way to the now empty den. She saw the female Nord wander off to collect fire wood. She wondered why Crius hadn't simply created a magic fire to keep them warm. She saw the female's almost imperceptible surprise at the sudden appearance of skeletons. But she wasted no time in asking questions first and dispatched them with lightning speed. 'A powerful warrioress indeed,' she thought to herself.
For now she decided it best to keep her distance and see what they would do once the blizzard had passed.

Glances toward the ceiling increased as activity grew. Not a word is uttered but it was mutually understood, the cave no longer held wolves. The mindless corpses continue their duties. Keeping the statues & treasures clean except for the smallest statue. Overgrown & decayed, the Draugr seemed content to let it waste away.

Crius
He decided to see where these two nords stood in their knowledge of the current world. "I assume you two are knowledgeable of the current invasion of the resurgent Dwemer?"

Brunwulf
"I've heard rumors." He said as he speared a hunk of meat with a stick and began cooking it over the fire,"Tales from passing Legion patrols, panicked survivors of a raided village, and stories from a barkeep in Raven Rock; however, I haven't seen any in my travels."

She responded whilst putting a meat chunk of her own over the crackling flames. "I overhead rumours"

Crius
Crius nodded at their answers. "Their tales albeit for civilians exaggeration are true. The Dwemer have returned in mass and are systematically defeating Imperial and Aldmeri Dominion forces with only some difficulty. However things aren't as grim as it sounds. The Dwemer tactics are slowly understood and battles in the past two weeks have been accounted with more success." He took a minute to contemplate if he should tell them or not. 'Perhaps they deserve some information.' "I've personally engaged in several battles alongside imperial forces and I have seen possible victory increase when my presence is on the battlefield."

Brunwulf
'So, my hunch was correct.' He thought as he took the first bite of roasted wolf, quickly chewing and swallowing the tough meat."Had you figured as some sort of battle mage, an advisor from the university in the imperial city. " He glanced at the warrior woman who sat silently eating her dinner, "what of you? You a sell sword like me?"

Finishing her 1st chunk she answered. "Hermit, in the mountains". She impaled another piece of meat and put it over the fire. "I was on the convoy to track something near Solitude"

Crius remained silent as he peered into the blizzard before speaking "What do you two intend to do after we reach civilization?"

Brunwulf
"I don't know about you two," Brunwulf said between bites,"but the first thing I'm doing is visiting my cousin in White-Run. He and his wife run Warmaidens, would be a good place to resupply & catch up on the latest news." He paused a moment, considering the days events," then I'm making my way to solitude.....if these 'Dwemer' really threaten the Empire, than my blade is ready to push them back."

Brunwulf
Brunwulf frowned at his offer of them joining him in whiterun was refused but he understood their hesitation, they were still relatively strangers after all. "Very well," he said, finishing off another hunk of meat, "when you get to Solitude, tell the gate guard your a friend of Brunwulf War-Bear. He'll direct you to Leget Randeris. Randeris and I go way back, he'll see about getting you military clearance.....if fighting these Dwemer is your plan." He paused a moment, "do you mind if I ask who your hunting, being a hermit I doubt would attract many enemies."

Finishing a bite "Not enemy, prey. I pursue a coven of vampires". She took another bite and chewed momentarily. "But after that my plan was to inquire about these dwemer rumours, we will meet again in Solitude".
