Even on consoles. I mean my PC version is modded out the wazzoo and looks amazing, but the Console version from what I've seen still looks really good, and a lot better. Skyrim is nearly two years older than it though RD might be on par with Oblivion

Skyrim shits all over it in every way ^^ Matter of Opinion. Don't get me wrong, I love skyrim. On my game shelf I have it ahead of RD:Redemption; however, I like the landscapes of RD:Redepmtion and hold them, landscape wise, roughly equal in my mind. I mean, I've met plenty of people who HATE Skyrim's storylines and calls them halfassed and poor quality. That is their opinion, I don't agree with it and won't let it affect my enjoyment of the game. Its part of the reason I encourage people to play games and form their Own opinions of it.

About one year younger actually. RDR came out in summer 2010 and Skyrim in fall 2011

Well of course it's opinion, me thinking that the RDR map is boring doesnt affect your fun roaming it

About one year younger actually. RDR came out in summer 2010 and Skyrim in fall 2011 Ah yea, I thought RD was like Feb 2010, and Skyrim was Nov 2011, so it seemed almost like 2 years give or take. But yea. a bit closer than I thought. I was rounding up. Like I said Shad-ika, it's on my list, but it's really far down it. If I get to it, I get to it. Trust me, almost everyone I know, aside Mugi, has told me to play it xD

Yea, but the sad thing is, I was kinda forced into GTA V by my brother. He wanted me to play it, so I'd get a liking for the game, buy myself a copy and do the online stuff with him.
I say forced because, if I turned it down he'd be a dick about lending me a game in the future... which, he's always a dick about... but that's beside the point. He has a bunch of RPG's I'd like to borrow from him, so yea. Siblings can be real fuckers.

Well as far as Red Dead Goes...it's easier to just say fuck the story to a degree and do whatever much like Skyrim because..your never limited in where you can go (where GTA you have to unlock some areas) the mechanics that are shit for cars actually aren't bad with horses.... Ironically it has the ancestors of the Sabercats in Skyrim...fucking Cougars attack from no where and can kill you in two hits...and hunt in packs for some god forsaken reason... it's not a great game, but it's much better than GTA in most respects.

Two hits the 1st of which incapacitates john and thus renders him unable to avoid the 2nd

Well if your on a horse you get three hits, 1 knocks you off, then two to kill, but if you run and then bullet time, then shoot the fuckers you can survive..but thankfully cougars are only in some areas. Ironically Grizzly bears are only dangerous in packs in the game, you can survive quite a while against one, but not Cougars..very strange.

You'd hate Vampire Rain, all enemies two-shot you like that, except they can also detect you if you so much a make a noise anywhere them and can see you whenever you're roughly in front of them from really far away, like beyond the draw distance away. And they take about 2-3 magazines worth of headshots to kill
