A battle between two shapeshifting sorceress'. Morrigan, from the Dragon Age series. VSVeran, the main villain of The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages. Any potential here?

At least with manipulation, straight up combat against one another I'm not too sure. Equipment may matter but I'm not a DA buff so I'm not the best person to ask.

Blair on the other hand could help out if we ask her to look at the thread.

I haven't got around to playing Dragon Age 2 yet.
Is Morrigan in that one too?

No, Flemeth mentions her briefly though.

What sort of equipment can harm Veran, exactly? For that matter what sort of magic?

Quick research tells me a "seed shooter" and Link's sword mostly. She can change in into a beetle that can jump pretty high and makes puddles of acid when landing, a fast moving bee and a spider that can grapple you with webs. She can also possess people, throw fireballs and her true form is kind of like a fairy.

When I say 'easier', I am talking about in terms of means and methods if it comes down to it.

Ah.
Mystery Seeds can disrupt her possession on people, and one of her forms is so durable that Link could only harm her with bombs.

She can also create 4 Dark Link clones.

All 4 at once or one at a time?

A well-built endgame Morrigan is pretty powerful. Though since she doesn't appear in DAII we only have DA:O for info. She's probably much more powerful currently but we don't have any data about that until DAIII comes out.
