I cant remember, it was like a super solider program. I cant remember how many were turned but yea, they are fairly consistent. Really I'm surprised that(were it not for the wank that was prevalent in that other site until a few weeks ago) no SM Chapter from 40K vs The Extremis Soldiers in Squad-for-Squad Combat has happened, let alone Phase 3 Dark Troopers or StarCraft Terran SMs for that matter. How come I'm a nutcase for neglecting The Cleavers from the world of Skulduggery Pleasant?

Space Marines aren't *that* wanked from what I've seen, Primarchs and the like on the other hand...

dunno, you have a lot of feats for the cleavers so think of something. Anyway, after doing some digging I found that the reason we don't see more of extremis soldiers is because the militarily pulled the plug on the program. The virus (yes, its a virus that these people were given) was stolen and given to terrorists/sold on the black market.

Other Marine Chapters on the other hand that's not the above? Ehhh, let's not go there. Fair point on the Primarchs though, I take pride in the fact we're all Primarchs, at least we got that out of the deal.

What I'd try to think about for Extremis Soldiers is which version of them should we be using for such a fight. Between the Comic Book and the Live-Action/MCU versions actually.

Either is fine with me, the comic ones would just lose less badly >

comic book. thats the version used in this. The MCU version had less than half of the powers the comic version had, and they took away a few and added that heat up your body to melt things power.

At 3000 celsius, exactly on the melting point of titanium which Stark's armor is made of. Kinda bugs me how heat at just the melting point melts through it like butter, so fast even that Killian manages to karate chop one of the suits in half.

Yea, in the comic Killian was one of the ones who stole and sold it......then he committed suicide out of guilt if I remember right.

Also the movie heat power had no convection, they could melt steel and concrete while keeping their clothes intact. Or melt the armor on Tony's arm without burning him at all.

Some parts are better, some parts aren't, I liked both. The 1st is overall the best one but cooler things happen in the sequels so it kinda evens out in my eyes.

I just know that apart from the final few scenes at the end plus a cameo from The Black Widow, The 2nd one just doesn't cut it for me if there's no War Machine scene, actually. '

I really liked Vanko's character in 2 so I guess that helped a lot to making me like it.
